When I got to where I was staying I ran out of the pill the first day I was there. Over the two weeks being there without being on the pill we had unprotected sex 4 or 5 times.
How soon can you get pregnant after not taking the pill?
I was supposed to have my period last week, it never came. I took a test on Saturday, but it was negative.

Iv heard that once your off the pill your more fertile but idk how true it is. You can only get pregnant around the time you ovulate which is normally 12-14 days after the first day of your period. If you have irregular periods its a little harder to track. Some women don't get on a regular cycle til they've been off the pill for 2-3 months. Really the best advice is to have sex regularly unless you want to track it then wait til you know your cycle.
my boyfriend and i have discussed conceiving, so i went off my pill for the past month and just got my period. the thing is, we're in the middle of a long distance relationship atm and we won't be able to try to conceive until approx this time next month. should i go back on to my pill to attempt to push my period back a little?

i know there have been alot of questions about getting pregnant after the depo shot but id figured id ask mine anyway. i started taking the shot in oct.07 and didnt go back for my shot this month (july 08) i havent gotten a period yet but i have been cramping like i should get it. my boyfiend and i want another baby so we were wondering how long its going to take. most things i read said it was going to take 6-18months we were really hoping not to wait that long.
I will be soon removing my mirena coil to go back on the pill since my mirena has caused me lots of unnecessary issues.
Now my question is if it is true that if you have sex with nothing other than the pill in the first month if you really can get pregnant. I wasn't going to have sex for a week anyway because my partner and I don't like condoms, but a month is a long time.

I've heard from more than one source that the bc pill Yaz also sold as
Yasmin, same stuff, is dangerous. If Yaz is causing you to be depressed,
with panic attacks and anxiety, I would suggest getting of Yaz altogether,
with the help of your family doctor. Wouldn't even finish the end of the
package of Yaz. I've heard it can cause blood clots. Seeing as you had
unprotected sex with your boyfriend, this would be a good time for a
doctor's visit. Good luck.
I was on the pill for 11 years and came off of it about 6 months ago. It took me a few months to get intuned with my body and I relyed on this site heaverly for some wonderful informaiton. I used the ovulation tracker on here. Then I payed attention to my CM. I followed up by using ovulation prodictor kit from the dollor store and made sure when I got a positive that we bd every other day.
I am currently on the Pill (microgynon 30) and I was just wondering what the chances were of getting pregnant whilst taking birth control. My partner and I frequently have intercourse without the use of a condom as we have both been checked for STD's and I am on the Pill. I stopped taking the pill after 18 years back in June and had 3 regular periods. I'm now 2 weeks late with all the symptoms of a period (cramps etc) but no bleeding. I did 2 pregnancy tests and they were both negative. Shoud i be worried or is the pill coming out of my system?
I stopped taking my pill so that my husband and I can try for a baby, however my first period came on July 7th, lasted 5 days (as normally) but it was brown. Is this normal after getting off the pill? Will my next period become normal after the brown period or not? I was on mononesa for only three months. I stopped taking it on Aug 16th of this year. I maybe took one blue pill of that month's pack. If I was on the pill I would have started by today as it has been in the past couple of months. Around Aug 28th I started to have thicker discharge, like just before you ovulate, with some brownish color. It stayed that way for the day. Then on Aug 29th, that morning, I had bleed through my underwear. Bright red blood.
However, I ended up starting the new pack 8 days after I took my last active pill (so I dropped my pill on a Sunday and started the new pack on the second Monday). I had protected sex for a week after I started my new pack before having unprotected sex for the rest of the month. What are my risks of getting pregnant here?
