geodon low blood pressure

Geodon is a great mood stabilizer for many people. It has a low incidence of weight gain and very few side effects. I was on it for 4 weeks but unfortunately it didn't work for me but most people have success with it. I switched to Abilify and it works great for me!

i had a friend who took it and it made he extremely tired and caused her blood pressure to drop. all you can do is try and see how it effects you.

numb face, numb legs, numb toes, loosing muscle control in my legs, muscle spasms in my eyes, uncontrollable swallowing, nerve pain, everything from the knees down popping and snapping after sleep (very painful), trouble urinating, constant sweating, heart palpitations, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, night sweats, trouble swallowing......and the list goes on. And of the medications i have taken...this one isn't really that bad!!

m not suffering from heart damage or any kind of cardiac problems with a normal heart rate and a normal blood pressure, The only time my heart rate and blood pressure goes up is when I endure physical or mental stress and that is normal. If the heart doesn't change every once in a while during anyone's lifetime, that is a big problem because it means the heart is not responding to demands made on it.

Actually the Cogentin and Inderal (a blood pressure medication) might causing the memory loss but they are used to control extra-pyramidal side effects and are necccesary for that. Those are movement disorders that are temporary but he is also at risk for permanent conditions such as tardive dyskinesia which I have and in myself is as bad as Parkinsons and can emerge after the antipsychotic masks it while it is progressing. It is irreversible.

Do you have this side effect?? I am also on Clonidine for anxiety and high blood pressure. Maybe it is the combination of the two? I am so confused. The medicine is supposed to help anxiety not cause it!!

120mg of Geodon is a high dose to start out with, very high. I started on a low dose and worked my way up. However, Geodon caused me panic attacks so I switched to Lamictil. It caused me suicidal ideations and migranes. Now I am just on Wellbutrin and Abilify. They work wonders for me, great combo. So, how come you are on so much meds? Depakote and Risperdone are very corrective for BP so why is he slapping you onto Geodon too??

Maybe your locking your knees when u stand. I've never heard of eating more salt.

ve learned about blood pressure about the past year though that 112 / 70 is not too low and some might even say it's ideal to have those numbers. You can always ask your doctor for more information but as I understand, unless your numbers go below 80 / 50 or you're fainting your blood pressure is not too low. Good luck!

t give me anything they just want to check me sooner and if my blood pressure is still low they will take me for a c section that day ! I told him I've been feeling really tired and weak lately, he said if it keeps on going or gets worse to call him ASAP !

I also drink plenty of water, and I've even increased my intake recently. What can i do? And is it bad for baby?

I have low blood pressure to. The doctor didn't seem worried. They told me to eat protein foods and salty foods! My sister had had low pressure with all her babies and they are all healthy! Good luck!

Anyone having issues with low blood pressure??? Mine was really low yesterday causing me to black out at Wall*Mart. hey i've been noticing low blood pressure lately i'm on high bp meds but as of lately when i check it its like 114/72 105/68 110/71 113/70 109/76 97/68 what could this mean???

s and have been on Synthroid 50 mcg for three months now. I have recently gotten a home blood pressure monitor to keep a check on my blood pressure. I was always pretty normal in that area - about 120/80 at the drs. office. Pretty often when I check my bp it's low. This morning it was 88/66. I have checked it when going from a prone position to standing and it goes up, not down. Could the low bp be from the Hashimoto's? If so, shouldn't it be getting better?

Low blood pressure starts at numbers less than 90/60 and is not treated unless you have some symptoms as you describe. Your BP looks good.
