geodon blurred vision

I am currently on 40mg of lexapro and my therapist prescribed 80mg of geodon once a day. I took the geodon one night and the next am I was extremely sedated. I had blurred vision, slurred speech and I felt like my body had lead in it and it was hard to move. I stopped taking it and after a week I still feel spacey and have some tingling in my hands and feet. Could I be having these feeling because I had such a strong reaction to the med? I am afraid these symptoms are permanent.

If I dont take it properly, I tend to get nauseated, dizzy, blurred vision and a feeling of unrealness. Other than that if taken properly with calories, it lessens the side effects. It works great for me, but everybody is different on medication, some might work for one person but not another, so its best if you give it a try and see how it works out. Hope this helps! No actually anti-cholinergic side effects include dry mouth and blurred vision so dry skin might be part of that and perhaps the Geodon wasn't causing it as much as what you took before or after as dry skin did seem to be a rather common side effect of Geodon but wouldn't of course always happen.

I had extreme paranoia, racing thoughts, depression, anxiety, mood swings, blurred vision, cognitive confusion, cloudiness, etc. the list goes on and on. My pdoc just had me quit it after I had a "little" melt down a couple of weeks ago. Genious me, though tried to go cold turkey last week and I had a COMPLETE meltdown on this past Saturday. I was supposed to taper down, but no - I had to try cold turkey.

I have had no side effects at all. Oh actually a little blurred vision sometimes but only for like a second at a time. nothing to be concerned about though. I love the lamictal.

s right about all of that. On geodon some days my vision was blurrier than other days but I also have astigmatism so my vision is randomly blurry anyway. After coming off geodon and switching to another med, my double vision came back and hasn't remitted yet but now I have glasses so I'm hoping it's just caused from eye strain from having double vision and far sightedness and not using glasses all these years.

I continued taking the 80mg a day but was completely sick on this medication. I would have waves of dizziness, flu-like symptoms, blurred vision. Finally I was able to get the pdoc to call me back on 10/24/08 and I told him that I was unable to tolerate the medication. He advised me that I should be at a higher dose, and when I told him that I couldn't handle the 80mg a day, he agreed to cut me back to 40mg.

I diagnosed me with Rapid Cycling Bipolar, and Anxiety with dilusions. He put me on Geodon. What side effects should I expect? Tonight I felt dizzy, blurring vision, and sleepiness.

Hi, I don't know where to post this. I took the drug Geodon for two weeks because of depression and when I stopped, my vision started going by really fast. Like the movement was missing pieces. My hearing was also weird and I had a head tilt, and other kinds of bad symptoms. My vision is slowly recovering but it still scares me, because when I go outside everything looks like is going by really fast.

I feel like I am not even in this world like everything around me is fake. My vision gets really blurred as well. They are indeed the side effects. I discussed it with my doctor, and he told me I wasnt taking it properly and that it ia best taken with food that is at least 500 calories and it will lessen the side effects. Ive been trying to take it with food and when I do It definitly makes a difference. I hope this helps!

I know the vision part was already stated,but who of u has constant blurred vision?it depresses me the most.is this permanent damage?

My vision has progressively become worse over the past four years or so. As of late, it has become much worse, with blurred vision. I find it very difficult to read at times. I was diagnosed with MS in February. Until then I just thought my eyes were getting bad, but now I wonder if it has to do with the MS. With MS and vision problems, does it get bad and then better like a relaps? Should I speak to my Neuro about it, or just go to the eye dr? Thanks for your help!

Has anyone experienced blurred vision and migranes?, I'm 34 weeks + 4 days pregnant and today I experienced blurred vision for 20mins followed by an hour migrane,I felt sick and had lower back pain but it eventually went! Has anyone else experienced this!?

I am 34 weeks 1 day my water broke at 33 weeks 1 day (been hospitalized for a week now ; no baby!) Well right now I'm experiencing this weird head spasms accompanied by blurred vision and then my body feels all weird.. Has anybody else experienced this? (paging nurse in room now)...

I had a C/S 2years ago. I developed blurred vision immediately after I woke up from the anesthesia effect. The blurred vision has persisted since then. I had no previous eye problems. I visited an opthamologist who tested my visual field and found okay. My fasting Blood sugar level is also normal. I do not have headaches but I often feel tired and my head feels abnormal. About 3 months into tx my good right eye got a lot of floaters (annoying) and my vision also got a little blurry. It is now 8 weeks post tx and the blurry vision is either gone or i am used to it. I still have the floaters though. One thing I have noticed lately is my eyes used to get very dry. It seemed that bright lights and watching TV really bothered them. It caused a very dry or burning sensation. That doesn't happen anymore.

im 28 years old i have blurred vision, i get dizzy 1-2 times a day. i feel like throwing up 2-3 times a day.ive had every test done i keep going to the doctor and emergency room. they keep running tests and dont find anything. i have sever anxiety now docters just keep giving me adavan and send me home. my vision is extreeamly blurry. ive had 3 cat scans ive had sinus surgery ive had a mri ive even had a stomach ct as well as ekgs all normal. this has been happining for 6 months.

I have had very blurred vision in one eye over about 24 hours. My vision is clear close-up but over a distance of over a foot or two it gets very blurry. I wear corrective lenses and they aren't improving my vision at all. I don't notice any pain or redness. I don't have problems with my other eye, but I'm blind in that eye so I wouldn't notice any problems. Should I wait and see if this improves or see a physician immediately?
