Generic percocet 10 mg

Common Questions and Answers about Generic percocet 10 mg

percocet

I usually take 500 mg max strength tylenol with 10 mg oxycodone. Due to an emergency room visit I was given percocet. Pharmacy filled it generically, 5 mg oxcodone/325 acetomenaphine. For some unbelievable reason the Percocet worked much better than taking oxycodone w/ supplemental tylenol. WHY???? Does anyone have a plausable reason??. I'm hoping I can taper more quickly w/ percocet than oxycodone.

I don't know who your doctor is, and I am NOT a professional, just an experienced user. One 10/325 percocet will light you up like 3-4 10 mg hydrocodone. Percocet is a MUCH STRONGER analgesic narcotic.
Which is stronger 10 mg/325 norco (hydrocodone) or 10 mg/325 percocet (oxycodone)? or are they the same?
It is time release and should never be broken in half or quarters etc..because a fatal dose could be delivered. Percocet, or its' generic Roxicet, contains oxycodone AND acetominophen(Tylenol). It is not time release. So...the difference is Oxycontin is much stronger and does not contain Tylenol; it is time release and is usually prescribed for use every 12 hours. That said...this is a substance abuse forum. Are you having a problem? V.
Controlled Release Oxycodone Hydrochloride. OxyContin, or a generic equiv. Recreational dosage is higher than 10 mg., and is usually taken in the form of crushing and snorting, or simply just chewing the pills, as this defeats the purpose of the time releasing agent. Be warned though, this releases the whole dose of Oxycodone into your system at once, which, if your not careful, could result in an overdose. Opiates are also known for their high addiction potential.
For those of you who have been following me on here the past few days, you know that yesterday I got rid of everything I had in my apartment that I could venture to in a desperate time of need. I've been addicted to percocet for the past year, give or take a month or so.
Has anyone suggested that you take a laxative or stool softener along with the Percocet? You need to do that. Try Miralax or Senekot. Call the doctor's office and ask them to recommend a taper for you. It shouldn't be too hard to do it. Just get off of them as soon as possible. You're way too young to be so laid up like this (not that it's great at any age!) and you've had some difficult complications.
I have been taking percs for almost a yr i AM addicted phycically and mentally i have chronic pain im trying to ween myself off then i will stop cold turkey like b4 and be miseralble for 3- 4 days with the yawning pain tiredness restlessness crying depression but i half to do it i am prescribed oxycontin 10 mg and perc 10 mg and 2 flexeril muscle relaxents 10 mg at a time lets say i take 10 to 15 perc 10's a day i need 3 at a time to feel better i cant move in the am without them i am miserable
i went from 240-300 mg of oxy a day down to 10 mg in two days. i thought i was gonna die the worst part for me is the cold sweats that last all day, add the runny nose sneezing stomach cramps insomnia irritable as hell and if makes one hell of a week. i've been on meds for over 5 years from a skiing accident that left 5 discs damaged.
I would seriously doubt you'd get withdrawals going from Vicodin to Percocet. However, Percocet also has Tylenol in it. Oxycodone does not. I switched from Percocet to Oxycodone and then Oxycontin because I didn't want the Tylenol. What kind of doctor do you see for your conditions? I was seeing an orthopedic for arthritis along with some other conditions and they had me on Vicodin initially. Then I went to a hand specialist.
My question is how would I know what they are? Do the percocet and the percodan, which are of the generic brand here in Canada look the same or would they in fact look different and how would I know how much oxycodone is in them? If someone could help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated...Thanks....Sheila.
I am in pain management and I am very sensitive to alot of meds. I started taking Opana er 15mg generic with Vicoprofen 4 x's a day for break though pain. I had to stop the Opana Er due to depression and nodding off and it really didn't help the pain. My Dr put me on percocet 10"s 325 tylenol. I am in pain and I am having burning in my muscles I feel like I am in withdrawl from the Opana er which I only took for about 3 months. I have limb jumping.

Vicodin/Lortab/Hydrocodone-2.5 mg, 5mg 7.5 mg,(ES) 10 mg, they come with 500-750 mg of Acetem. Norco(=vicoden/hydrocodone too) 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, they usually come with 250 mg acetem.(Tylenol) Percocet/Percodan (Oxycodone) 5mg, 10mg anywhere from 250-750 mg (tylenol) Oxycontin usually comes in 10, 20,60,80 mg and typically doesn't have any tylenol. One of my employees has been getting them for me when I run out. The ones he gives me are the yellow 10 mg and they have the imprints and everything BUT some of them are scraped and powdery. Is there something wrong with them? Are they safe to take?
They all come in various strengths, Norco is most well known for the 10 mg form, but the others start at 2.5 mg going up to 10 mg. You obviously do not do well with any narcotic pain reliever, as you said that Percocet and others made you nauseated. You might think about Methadone, I don't think it would make you as sick as the others but it is a serious drug and very hard to get off of. You need to speak to a pain management doctor if you do not already have one. Good luck.
Some most lortabs have 500 mg's or 325 mg's or aceitomeniphen where as most percocets have 325 but some have 600 and 650 mg's whatever is after the slash as in 10/325 pertains to the mg of aceitomeniphen and the number before the slash is the mg of hydrocodone or oxycodone.
...the yellow generic 10 mg Percocets (called Endocet) and the WHITE generic 10 mg Percocets that are made by (I think) the MALLINCKRO company? The ones I'm curious about say 10/325 on one side and M523 on the other- and I've never taken these before. Is one form superior to the other? Are there any differences?
He titrated my opioid medications up by 60 mg morphine equivalent. I was taking 60 mg of morphine sulfate ER plus 35 mg of percocet a day. He switched me to 30 mg of Opana ER every 12 hours with up to 25 mg of percocet a day for breakthrough pain. My old medications equaled 120 mg of morphine equivalent a day and my new medications equal 180 mg of morphine equivalent a day from just the Opana ER!!! That is a 60 mg increase!!!

Oxycodone comes as percocet also and is just like the forms of hydrocodone 10/325, 10/500, 10/650 The latter number representing how much (in Milligrams) tylenol is present Most prescriptions in my area for percoset, roxycet, and oxycontin all show the name oxycodone but depending on which pill it says "generic for" Example Oxycodone : Generic for roxycodone or roxyset depending on how the pharmascist wries it up on the bottle.
I was working in a call center where I sat for 10 hours a day plus. I was in a true living hell and felt like no one understood. I felt so alone for a very long time. I was prescribed Lortab and they didn’t work at all. Then I was prescribed Percocet 5mg tablets. I found only the brand name was beneficial and helped manage the pain. Percocet made life bearable but eventually my dose had to be increased to the 7.5mg tablets and then to the 10mg tablets.

30 mg of Opana ER is roughly 60 mg of oxycodone or 90 mg of morphine. 10 mg of Opana ER is roughly 20 mg of oxycodone or 30 mg of morphine. You are actually getting 5 mg less of oxycodone through the switch from percocet to Opana ER. However, since Opana ER is an entirely different opioid formulation. There is probably some cross tolerance and your doctor applied a 20% cross tolerance factor when converting you from oxycodone to Opana ER.
They are two different drugs. Hydrocodone is the generic of Vicodin. Oxyxodone is the same as Percocet without the Tylenol xomponent. I can't take hydrocodone due to itching. It's extreme, the itching is all over including itching in my ears and nose. Oxycodone is also stronger than Vicodin.
Ativan or Xanax should only be used if you can't get one of the others. 2. Imodium (over the counter, any drug or grocery store). [generic brand anti-diarrheal is fine. Don't take it unless really uncomfortable] 3. L-Tyrosine* (500 mg caps) from the health food store.* [See Warning] 4. Strong wide-spectrum mineral supplement with at least 100% RDA of Zinc, Phosphorus, Copper and Magnesium. 5. Vitamin B6 caps. [or stress B-complex?] 6.
in my back and knees, I was recently drug tested at my doctor who I get all my meds from, The urine they said showed positive for PCP and methadone which I know I do not take, I take oxycodone 10 mg 3xd for breakthrough pain and take Morphine sulfate er 30 mg 3x daily, then I take tylonol pm at night to help sleep, I went immediatly to hospital for blood test, Now they are saying that come back negative for everything and can no longer prescribe my meds.
He went to the hospital and is ok- htank God. He was taking 10 mg oxycodone ER. Does that mean that he got 10 mg of oxycodone all at one time? Would that not be the same thing as taking two 5mg percs?
