Generic concerta in canada

Common Questions and Answers about Generic concerta in canada

concerta

Avatar m tn As far as I know, the only two are intuniv and concerta. They use different formulations. No clue which is better. I think it probably depends on the individual. Both do take a while to take effect (compared to a stimulant). If you google them, you will be able to see lots of anecdotal posts on how it worked for that poster or their children. Hope this helps.
Avatar m tn My prescription ran out and I used a concerta my concern is if I have a urine test or hair follicle test will the methylphenidate in the concerta show up? Concerta is not my prescribed medicine.
5757880 tn?1395578022 The person did say that Aspergers was ruled out in 2013. Interesting point you made about the generic form of Concerta. I have seen several other parents questioning the generic forms.
5757880 tn?1395578022 After spending $186.00 for the generic form of concerta I'm about ready to cry... no, I have already cried. My insurance changed plans to a high deductible and now I must meet a $2500.00 in regards to my son's medication. I have already checked with medicad/medicare, the martketplace and there is nothing my insurance company nor employeer can do. Can anyone give me any information in how I can lower my cost or perhaps is there a cheaper alternative? Thank You!
9003081 tn?1401126498 I have terrible ADHD. Took Concerta for 10 years. For the last two years I have been without it. I am to begin studying for my RN in the fall. I am 20, with no insurance and without the Concerta I just know I will not make it through my classes. What are some alternatives???
Avatar m tn You might try a stronger dose of ritalin. It would be out of your system in 4 hours instead of 8 (give or take) with concerta. Adderall is a amphetamine while ritalin/concerta is a methylphenidate. The symptoms should ease at night when the meds no longer in system. If the symptoms are still there, it may not be related. Could be an ear problem that just happened at same time? Hope this helps a little.
Avatar f tn diagnosed a few days ago with ADD(no hyperactivity) amongst other things and am taking concerta...36 mg 1 to 2 times a day...seems to be a life saver so far but am uninsured, just getting back on my feet after a nasty divorce and losing everything but my children (Thank God). It is SOOO expensive. I have 3 children (out of 5) also diagnosed which prompted me to get checked..Anyone take Strattera with good results...
382218 tn?1341181487 That's Cool! I'm still waiting for the funding to come through between the pharm co. and whatever federal programs might fill in. My insurance will cover NOTHING unless it's generic. I was supposed to get my 1st infusion last week. We'll see what happens this week.
874521 tn?1424116797 So many medications we take are available in generic and mostly I get the name brand because I fear the generic ones may not work as well as the brand name. You can save a lot of money on the generics but if they do not work well what is the use of the savings. So look for the post and list the generics you have done well with.
Avatar f tn Did he have these night time problems before the addition of Prozac? I am guessing he did not for the reason given below. Get him off the Prozac (but do so slowly). The Prozac blocks the liver pathways for the stim meds and will make things worse. This is a quote from Dr. Charles Parker. I will private message you the site as I can't post it here.
16087137 tn?1445209323 he unofficially assured me about generic versions made in Canada, that can legally ship to the US. I recieved a sample from this company: http://goo.gl/iw450u and am thinking about ordering. Has anyone here ever had any experience with generic versions of Cialis or Viagra? This discussion is related to <a href="/posts/Erectile-Dysfunction/Erectile-dysfunction/show/1092442">Erectile dysfunction</a>.
Avatar f tn These products are dispensed by a Pharmacy Checker accredited dispensary based in Canada, India, New Zealand, Singapore, Australia, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States, or Mauritius. I assume this means they can sell to the United States. Any one has experience using this generic version of Viread? Any doctor says ok? The Pharmacy King website has words as below, which makes me not sure if the Generic version of Viread is good.
Avatar f tn now hes in 1st grade in acontained class the last 5 months have been hell for me.hes been going through physical agressive behavior in school so bad that they are making me look at diffrent schools next week because he has been suspended due to his behavior. he just started concerta the last 5 days but iv been through about a handfull of different med including bipolar medication. hes very sorry for hes behavior and will ask me mom why am i bad i wanna be good.
Avatar f tn I just ordered more Cymbalta from Canada who in turn orders it from India. I always get the generic duloxetine from them but this time I also got duvanta.
Avatar m tn In Canada there is a generic form if you cannot get assistance from Novartis (the makers) I use http://www.canadapharmacyonline.com for my albuterol my copay in the US is $35 for 1 ,there I pay $60 for four including shipping. A friend of mine gets his Depakote from there it is so much cheaper, Trileptal I think in generic was $43 for 100 (150mg) generics. Check it out, they will tell you who makes it and what country, most are from Canada. PS.
Avatar f tn //www.pharmer.org/images/foreign/levothyroxine-flint-50 Abbot does not make Synthroid. They make generic levothyroxine. THIS link says Euthyrox is marked flint, but the manufacturer is not listed. It's a Canadian site, and Abbot has a plant in Canada, so maybe they market a generic and a brand name. http://health.lifestyle.yahoo.ca/drug_info_details.asp?brand_name_id=794 I think cutiepie got a generic.
Avatar m tn The link didn't print like I meant it to. So I copy and pasted again. Avatar f tn I am taking adderall as apart of my treatment with bipolar and adhd. I also take neurotin 3xs a day and klonopin 3x's a day. I was just wondering has anyone taken adderall and ritilan and was there a big difference in the 2? I only ask because my insurance doesn't cover the adderall but it does ritilan. I really don't want to mess with my medication regime but if there isn't a huge difference in the 2 then finacially.....
Avatar m tn In canada..... the speculation is these new meds will be at least double the cost of current treatment. and like everywhere It will remain to be seen what the insurance companies do .
Avatar m tn I tried provigil, stratera, wellbutrin, lexapro, celexa, Prozac, paxil adderal, and concerta. Concerta is ritalin (methylphenidate hcl) but the delivery system is different and is supposed to be more effective but it's wicked expensive. My medication doesn't make everything all better for me. I'm not able to go out and do normal things just because I take the pills. I was never able to just do normal things. The medication does make things much easier but it doesn't work magic.
1569985 tn?1328247482 I have no experience with Norplace, but I do take generic everything... now even on Metoprolol regular release to get the generic. The generic is about the cost of aspirin (well a bit more but in that price range) and I take Warfarin. I started on Toprol XR then Metorprolol SR, now Metoprolol which I take twice a day (12 hours). Warfarin is just once a day. All generics work for me, or work as well.
