Avatar f tn Could the impacted earwax cause the lightheaded feeling? My doctor mentioned that I might have post-viral syndrome is this possible? The worst of the symptoms is the nonvertigo dizziness/lightheaded feeling that is hard to describe but is debilitating and it seems to come and go. I also just started having hot sensations in different areas of my body such as my foot, leg, groin and stomach. Before this I was extremely healthy, I rarely get sick and lead a quite active life.
Avatar f tn I went to the doc after 5 days. He said its just viral gastroenteritis. I looked up the condition and it says you have vomiting and/or diarrhea, but i have neither. I am in such severe pain just laying here typing this and barely moving.. Please help. Thank you.

Avatar f tn Viral gastroenteritis symptoms may appear 1-3 days after you are infected and can range from mild to severe. Symptoms usually last just a day or two, but occasionally they may persist as long as 10 days. Because the symptoms are similar, it is easy to confuse diarrhea caused by viruses with diarrhea caused by bacteria (e.g., Clostridium difficile, salmonella, and E. coli) or parasites (e.g., giardia). If your symptoms persist, see your doctor for further workup and management.
Avatar n tn Gut Dysbiosis, Leaky Gut Syndrome, Candida, viral gastroenteritis (stomach flu) food poisoning and parasites are all suspect. Most of these have something in common, which is bacteria overgrowth. Very low carb diet, peppermint oil supplements (enteric coated caps) and high quality probiotics usually help in such cases. Also Extra Virgin Coconut Oil 2T daily will help as it is anti-fungal, anti-parasitic, anti-viral and anti-microbial.
