I ate about 3 dozen charbroiled oysters for Easter.
I'm 20 weeks and today my aunt brought home oysters...I love oysters they are my favorite so of course seeing a whole tray I wanted some. I tried to just walk away but the craving was real!
I ate about 5-6 this is my firsr babt and im not sure on whats good and bad?
What do u think? Advice?
So I googled if I could eat oysters and it said cooked are fine! I bought some and just barely ate two, then all of a sudden my son started moving a lot and then my side hurt! Idk if it's from him moving or what!?
Should I be worried? Or is it just a coincidence?
I also eat as much steamed spinach with lemon juice as I can muster. And when I can afford it, big fresh raw Australian oysters. That really has helped. I'm just too broke to afford oysters at the moment, and I really think that is contributing to my anemia.

My daughter is 14 months old and she has has watery diarrhea and vomitting. When she was born she was perfectly healthy, but once I had to return to work I began to give her formula and that's when she began to have these complications. She began to have watery diarrhea and vomit. I took her to the doctor and they said she had gastroenteritis, but it's been a while now and she is still the same? I went up there and took her to the doctor and she was basically told is was a stomach virus (gastroenteritis) drink plenty of fluids and it should go away in a couple of days but when I look up Gastroenteritis it says that it's common in people with weaken immune system caused by HIV.
She took her 3 month birth control shot the morning before but I'm sure that didn't cause Gastroenteritis. My question is should I be concerned about HIV at this point.
Hello! I seem to have unfortunately caught gastroenteritis. I was given Ondansentron and it helped immensely. However, I can't sleep. I'm so wired and my stomach still hurts but luckily, no side effects. Is this normal? Is it the gastroenteritis or the drug?
shrimp is ok, its more of the deep sea ocean fish that has high mercury levels, if you can make sure you buy them green (raw) and cook yourself, rather than from the deli part of your supermarket where they may have been sitting for a couple of days.
Yupp! You should be fine! they don't have a high even of mercury.. It's some fish.. Oysters.. Shark eat. That you should be worried about they have high mercury... Never have Oysters!

Not true you can't eat seafood from shells. They're are certain types of seafood you can't eat but you can eat cooked oysters and shells. There are very few items you shouldn't eat. I eat oysters all the time.
On day 7 of a severe case of gastroenteritis. Everything seems to have calmed down, but once I try and eat anything stomach cramps start, which are unbearable. Sometimes followed by diarrhoea. Is this normal after a severe case of gastroenteritis or do I need to see my G.P again?

I went to the doc after 5 days. He said its just viral gastroenteritis. I looked up the condition and it says you have vomiting and/or diarrhea, but i have neither. I am worried it is appendicitis, but the appendix is on the right side, not left. I am really in pain but i am taking my meds as described. Does this sound like viral gastroenteritis to you?
