Im 25 yrs female, my whole family had suffer from (stomach flu) i went to visit my moms house the next day i woke up With diarrhea, with no other symptom i ate crackers n oatmeal, chicken soup n tea. When the night came i started having dull painful sharp pains in my upper middle stomach that will last for couple seconds n it would go away so ill just sleep on it, the pain came to sharp i couldn't go back to sleep, so i went to e.

I am 24 years old. About 1 week ago I noticed what seemed to be gas pain in my mid back. I was also mildly constipated. A few days of meal replacement shakes, eating healthier, and my bowel movements started to move again, although it seemed to be softer stool. The pain in my back has dissipated, but I seem to be having little spasm type pains all over my abdomen and chest. I think it could be from straining. My stomach is still bothering me somewhat and I get the occasional gas pain.

Horrible gas pains, bloated stomach, nausea and sleepiness are all side effects of progesterone. It's horrible, I know but it's very important to take it as it counters stress hormones and helps implantation and sustaining pregnancy. Hope this helps and hoping you get a BFP!!

I am recovering from a recent bout of what seemed to be gastroenteritis. I had constant diarrhea for 5 days, plus nausea and crampy pains in my stomach and bowel. I was hospitalised for severe dehydration, where numerous bloods were taken. Results showed a slightly elevated white cell count. My issue is that even though I am feeling slightly better 3 days later and have resumed eating, my stomach is behaving strangely.

Hi. I have had sharp pains in my left side for a week. The pain is specifically on my left side, below the ribs, between the last rib and the hip bone. Right there in the fleshy area of the lower abdomen and going downwards towards the hip. But its specifically on my side, not my back or tummy. Its been a week since symptoms started. Symptoms include a constant achy feeling in the area, sharp pains in the area when i lay down or move positions or laugh or cough. I went to the doc after 5 days.

I felt fine within a few hours, then went to the doctor and had everything checked and she said she thought it was Gastroenteritis. My vitals were all good. Since Tuesday I still hear groaning, creeky and bubbly sounds especially in the morning. Today for my cheat day I bought some cookies, but 20 minutes after eating them I ran to the bathroom. I also feel more anxious, worried these days with job issues...so overall I'm not sure if this is an IBS flare up, or colitis or what.

The spasms could be due to gas as this in diabetes there is a slowing down of gut movement, constipation, gas and bloating. It can also be due to food poisoning or gastroenteritis. PCOD is also a cause of cramps and so is pelvic inflammatory disease. IBS, Crohn’s and celiac disease too should be ruled out. specialist he ruled out the collitis and said it was gastroenteritis he told me to continue the levaquin i was prescribed. its been about a month now and my stool varies with every deffacation from semi hard to pure liquid to very loose im wondering how i can repair this and get back to normal. i also have had pains in my lower left abdominal region almost like i am constipated but even after a bowel movement it it still there.

I am 28 yr old men I have stomach gas problem . It's start in 2010/04 when 1 night I had full bottle of whiskey. That night everything ok next morning I wake up while going to work I had mother drink 300ml after 1 hr of mother drink I had break fast about 7:30am soon after I start feeling dizzy and heart beat gone up my hand shaking and I went to emergency in kogarah. In hospital after few hrs I feel ok they just keep me under observation for 5-6 hrs send me home with vitamin pills.

Since sunday i've had almost every lactose intolerance symptom except vomiting, I really hope I don't vomit, but I've had diarrhea, gas, and cramps since then. Two days ago I pooped 6 times, yesterday 4, and today so far only once. I haven't been consuming any dairy whatsoever since Tuesday. Do you think I'm just trying to get rid of the extra lactose in my body?

And also I have a lot of gas at night and in the mornings as well would that be a symptom of ulcer and gastritis too

It lasted for about 2 weeks and took 2 packs of Picolax to sort it. Then I got Gastroenteritis following this just to top it all off. Now, my bowel movements seem OK but my abdominal pains have changed now. It feels a bit like when you get a "stitch", that kind of pain but all over my tummy. When I put pressure on my tummy it hurts even more and feels like my insides are being crushed. I just wondered if anyone else experienced this or had any suggestions?

If it gets unbearable I would call the hospital and just ask a nurse if you should be checked out. I know gas pains are the worst and when I got them I felt like I was dying.

I know this sounds funny but are you able to fart. Normally I guess really bad gas pains due to excess gas and also having to use the bathroom. #2. So I eat something that I know will give me the poops sorry tmi. but it helps me. I never thought at the time i had it to try some sort of gas relief. But i would look into that.

I have been taking Nexium 40 mg one time a day for the past two months and the past week I have been having gas pains in my chest. I can feel the gas bubbles moving after I eat and stays around for a long period of time which is very uncomfortable. Is it ok for me to take Gas X along with the Nexium?
