If you are passing stools a lot and have stomach pain then in all probability you have either food poisoning or gastroenteritis. Take an OTC lactobacillus preparation and yoghurt with your meals. Drink plenty of fluids. Eat light, do not stay hungry but eat simple things like toast, porridge, cereals, crackers etc. Take ORS. Take over the counter antacid and antiemetic (this SOS for vomiting). Watch out for a day or two with this treatment.
The prime one which needs to be ruled out is gastroenteritis. Gastroenteritis is an irritation and infection of the digestive tract. It can often cause sudden and sometimes violent upsets and may be confused with spastic colitis.
Other possibilities are diabetes,cyclic vomiting syndrome,liver pathologies,ETEC infection and mesenteric adenitis.In my opinion,consulting a physician will be the best because without examination,I cannot confirm a diagnosis.

Hello! I seem to have unfortunately caught gastroenteritis. I was given Ondansentron and it helped immensely. However, I can't sleep. I'm so wired and my stomach still hurts but luckily, no side effects. Is this normal? Is it the gastroenteritis or the drug?
r n they did blood work n a ultrasound which came back normal. I was think gallbladder stones idk.. So doctor diagnose me with gastroenteritis prescribe me pain killers. The doctor diagnosed viral gastroenteritis, and he soon improved with antibiotics. It should be noted that my husband also experienced an outbreak of mouth ulcers at this time (he has experienced these periodically throughout his life).
A few weeks later, the fever was back for a few days, this time unaccompanied by gastrointestinal problems--though the mouth ulcers did recur. The fever lasted a couple days and went away.

Nausea, severe headache with neck stiffness can be suggestive of meningitis. Acid reflux disease can also cause headache, nausea and abdominal discomfort. A complete clinical checkup and work up is essential. Tests like complete blood counts, blood sugar levels, ultrasound abdomen and stool examination may be needed. Take adequate fluids throughout the day. The BRAT diet (ie, bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) or soft easily digestible semisolid diet can also be taken. Antimicrobial therapy is indicated for some bacterial gastroenteritis infections.
m concerned b/c 1 day after the massage, I became nauseous. 2 days later I had nauseau, diareah, fever and night sweats. My doctor said I have gastroenteritis. However, these symptoms have been persistent now for 10 days. Gastroenteritis usually lasts about 3-7 days.

Your symptoms could be due to a number of things which are difficult to assess on net. It could be due to viral fever, gastroenteritis or stomach flu, acidity, or anxiety and stress. If you are feeling nauseous, then you can take antacid gel. Talk to your parents as discussing your worries often helps. Also, exercise, walking, yoga is therapeutic.

t think that eating spicy food usually will give you burning genitals and fevers. You can get gastroenteritis (stomach) with a fever but am not sure the food is related to what you are experiencing. Typically a fever is related to an infection or virus. Do you have an urge to urinate? Anyway, with the symptoms you are having, I would advise seeing a doctor.
