I'm a young, sexually active gay male. From time to time I meet a man from the Internet and engage in safer sex practices like fellatio (mostly with me performing it) and mutual masturbation. I never engage in anal sex with these men, and I always, always ask about HIV status. My last test was two months ago and the result was negative. So, normally, I'm not very worried about HIV. However, I have a concern that I hope you can address.
I had a sudden bout of horrible chills, neck pain, and headache, which led to a fever of 104. Since that night I have had an up and down temperature ranging from almost normal to 102.5. Two nights in a row I've had drenching sweats along with lower back pain, stomach pain and even a bad eye ache. Any ideas on what I could have?

I may have been exposed to her vagina for roughly 30 seconds. Besides my fever from the gastroenteritis I did NOT had a mild or high fever since my exposure. 5 days later I did feel a bit tired or uneasy by the end of the week but immediately took my temperature twice during the day and evening and they both read 98.6 and 98.8 F, respectively (37 and 37.1 C, respectively). One day I was fine and the next day I had diarrhea, chills and fever. I went to a gastroenterologist and received a treatment for gastroenteritis. I had a colonoscopy and my doctor told me I had crohn's disease but the biopsy came out inconclusive.

Other possibilities are diabetes,cyclic vomiting syndrome,liver pathologies,ETEC infection and mesenteric adenitis.In my opinion,consulting a physician will be the best because without examination,I cannot confirm a diagnosis.

My whole body ached and I was running a fever of 104. I went to the hospital and my white cell count was over 19,000. They couldnt find anything wrong but gave ceftin thinking I had an infection. A week later I got sick again. My white cell count is lower but still high. Im not running a fever anymore but im having pain in my stomach and my side. I feel sick to the stomach and ive been have mucus in my stool. I've also been having headaches and dizziness.
