Every day since I went to the hospital to get checked out I was found out with gastroenteritis and 1 week later taking pills it went away. Now ever since then I've been going to the bathroom and what I've. Noticed is that my poop is yellow and floats. I think I may have malabsorption but I'm not to sure. I'd go to the doctor but my parents wouldn't wanna take me as I had gone to the doctor 4 weeks ago. I'm 14 and I'm overweight for my age. I'm 210 Pounds.
I felt fine within a few hours, then went to the doctor and had everything checked and she said she thought it was Gastroenteritis. My vitals were all good.
Since Tuesday I still hear groaning, creeky and bubbly sounds especially in the morning. Today for my cheat day I bought some cookies, but 20 minutes after eating them I ran to the bathroom. I also feel more anxious, worried these days with job issues...so overall I'm not sure if this is an IBS flare up, or colitis or what.
They took another blood sample before and after meal and that time it came back as 90mg/dl fasting and 120mg/dl after meal which used to my regular level. I am non diabetic and quite a concious on health. The doctor is also clueless and told me it might be due to severe dehydration and infection that has risen my blood sugar level.
I went up there and took her to the doctor and she was basically told is was a stomach virus (gastroenteritis) drink plenty of fluids and it should go away in a couple of days but when I look up Gastroenteritis it says that it's common in people with weaken immune system caused by HIV.
She took her 3 month birth control shot the morning before but I'm sure that didn't cause Gastroenteritis. My question is should I be concerned about HIV at this point.
My daughter is 14 months old and she has has watery diarrhea and vomitting. When she was born she was perfectly healthy, but once I had to return to work I began to give her formula and that's when she began to have these complications. She began to have watery diarrhea and vomit. I took her to the doctor and they said she had gastroenteritis, but it's been a while now and she is still the same? Hello! I seem to have unfortunately caught gastroenteritis. I was given Ondansentron and it helped immensely. However, I can't sleep. I'm so wired and my stomach still hurts but luckily, no side effects. Is this normal? Is it the gastroenteritis or the drug?

For most people symptoms subside within 1-3 days but you're contagious much longer. You can still pass the virus through your stool for 2 weeks or so and it can survive on surfaces for a long time too. Just take it easy, eat bland foods and rest a lot.
I am wondering if maybe this could all be associated with anxiety??? my doctor gave me Anxiety meds and told me not to worry that everything was fine, but i dont feel fine...my headaches arnt to the point where i cant handle them but they are there and it does worry me. My dizziness doesnt last all day just some part of the day and the nausea isnt all the time either. I am afraid i might have a brain tumor or something like that. The more i google symptoms it seems the more i get symptoms.
Your symptoms could be due to a number of things which are difficult to assess on net. It could be due to viral fever, gastroenteritis or stomach flu, acidity, or anxiety and stress. If you are feeling nauseous, then you can take antacid gel. Talk to your parents as discussing your worries often helps. Also, exercise, walking, yoga is therapeutic.

I went through 11 week's of a Dr. telling me i had Gasteritis. I had a scope and my tummy was clean. Since then i developed anxiety and have problem's eating. Can someone help me?? I don't want to keep losing weight . I eat about 600 calories a day. That is why i got vitamins.
They prescribed me with an antibiotic (for gastroenteritis) and metoclopramide, as well as something for diarrhea (which I didn't have). I filled out the prescription for the metoclopramide, but I was kind of wary about the antibiotic, because they didn't tell me if they even found anything viral or bacterial, they just said that it "seems like gastroenteritis".

I had her tested 3 weeks after the transfusion and the test was negative. Then she woke up one day with Gastroenteritis which lasted about 2-3 days and was gone. I got her tested again January 8th which is 4 months post transfusion, the test was negative. Now beginning Monday of this week (last 3 mights) she’s' been having night sweats. Waking up in the middle of the night with full body sweat, clothes drenched. Everywhere I read night sweats is a direct sign of HIV infection.

Common causes for dizziness with nausea include high blood pressure, vertigo, food poisoning, smoking, depression or anxiety, gastroenteritis etc. Certain drugs like antibiotics, birth control pills etc can cause these symptoms. You should get a check of your pressures with 3 consecutive readings for further conclusion on this. It could even be due to low blood sugars. Hope this helps. Best.
I went to the doc after 5 days. He said its just viral gastroenteritis. I looked up the condition and it says you have vomiting and/or diarrhea, but i have neither. I am worried it is appendicitis, but the appendix is on the right side, not left. I am really in pain but i am taking my meds as described. Does this sound like viral gastroenteritis to you?

While the doctor said I didn’t have food poisoning It was confirmed there was blood in my stool and recommended I get a CT scan. I also struggle with anxiety so I’ve been having panic attacks thinking how everyone could be going through the same thing because of me. How severe could this have effected my coworkers. How bad may I have hurt them (and myself) with my incompetence?
when i went to the emergency room they first gave me an x-ray and said my pancreas was swolen then they gave me a contrast ct-scan in wich the said my boweld were swolen they diagnosed me with collitis. when i went and saw a gastro. specialist he ruled out the collitis and said it was gastroenteritis he told me to continue the levaquin i was prescribed.
we still speak to this day and remains close friend with out the sexual encounters due to her new relationship with her bf. Also i know for a fact that she is not a drug user. out of anxiety and worry i went to get tested at 12 days after the encounter here at the std clinic in new york city and it came out (rapid finger prick test) Negative, and they took a tube of blood since i didnt take the test anonymously. That test also came back negative thankfully.

I never engage in anal sex with these men, and I always, always ask about HIV status. My last test was two months ago and the result was negative. So, normally, I'm not very worried about HIV. However, I have a concern that I hope you can address.
