I HAVE A LOT OF STOMACH GAS. PASTA, VEGTABLES, POTATOES AND CARBONATED BEVERAGES ARE WHAT BOTHER ME THE MOST. I TRY TO AVOID THEM BUT I AM RUNNING OUT OF FOODS THAT DO NOT CAUSE PROBLEMS. I TAKE BEANO BEFORE I EAT AND USUALLY I END UP TAKING UP TO GAS X PILLS AFTER EATING TO HELP EASE THE DISCOMFORT. I HAVE TRIED DIGESTIVE ENZYMES OF ALL KINDS. THE GAS SMALL IS TERRIBLE. I AM DRIVING MY FAMILY NUTS. I AM ACTIVE AND I HAVE NO OTHER HEALTH PROBLEMS.
It all depends on the amount and type of bacteria each person has in the large intestine. Gas producing foods may not need to be eliminated completely, unless you have problems of food intolerance (or food sensitivity), sometimes eating smaller amounts will help to reduce flatulence.

I noticed that it hurt to push gas out whenever I was always constipated. Are you also? Since I'm farther along in my pregnancy the constipation seems to have stopped and I just fart a lot more often now lol. It gets kinda embarassing but it's just something some of us ladies have to deal with!
Contrary to the doctor's opinion, I don't believe that what you're experiencing are separate cardiac and gastrointestinal problems. I believe that the stomach gas pressure is directly responsible for the heart symptoms - at least in my case it is. The reason that I say this is that I've never experienced these heart symptoms unless I was also severely bloated. Also, the symptoms disappear completely within a few minutes of purging myself of the excess gas.

Referring to your post regarding A/Fib and bloated stomach/gas, I too have had the same experience. I believe it is a mechanical effect in that the gas inflates the intestine which in turn pushes on the vagus nerve or the bottom of the heart and triggers the A/F episode. The sensation is located under the left rib cage not in the chest. I can also induce A/F by swallowing something very cold on an empty stomach. This freaks out the nerve and the A/F proceeds.
For the last 2 weeks I have had problems with nausea, vomitting, lightheadedness, stomach cramps and gas. After I eat I feel very nausead like I am going to be sick but for the last couple of days I have been getting sick randomly even if I don't eat. And when I am done eating I still feel like I am starving. I'm not sure what is going on and would like some input.
What do you mean by gas (rumbling in your stomach, burping, or passing gas/farting)? This is often due to diet but it can also be due to swallowing air which can be done unconsciously if you are anxious.
My symptoms for 3 years have been severe diarreha, yellow in color...severe stomach cramps and pains, sweating, lots of gas, pale clammy skin, and I would drool like I was going to vomit!..all of this right after I would eat or drink anything..the doc's could never find anything, till last year..like I said had my gallbladder removed...thought it would end, but it didnt! My gallbladder was so bad it also infected my pancreas..
And it happens more often/lasts longer when I'm concentrating on something or doing homework. I've always had stomach problems (i.e.motion sickness, vomiting constantly as a child, and feeling nauseous easily), but this is the only one that got worse as I got older. (I'm 17 years old now) Do you think it could be gas related? I eat well, haha I probably need more fiber but I eat well. Its not a big deal, I'm just wondering if there's any normal explanation like gas or acid reflex.
