Have you tried an antacid or something like Pepto-Bismol or Zantac - which I think reduces the amount of acid secreted by the stomach in order to reduce ulcer and heartburn pain or to assist in healing of ulcers - I'm pretty sure it is used to treat stomach and duodenal (intestinal) ulcers, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). That might point you in the right direction. Sounds like you should still see your GP though.
I have been avoiding spicy and acidic foods, however, I had something spicy today, and within the same area as the abdominal pain, I felt pain, rawness and burning. This pain and burning also occurs in the same spot with gas, which seems to stay in this area. This has been going on for 6 months. Is this caused by gallstones, ulcer or something else?
I am suffering with Gas problems for 3-4 years. Excess gas forming and much odor (bad smell) and this make me upset. I consulted with many doctors and they have given me different medications during these period. There is no stomach pain and there is no indigestion problems. There is little bit problems for Piles, and motion is not normal.
Back in October I had a episode of sickness with bloated/gassy feeeling in gut/stomach which caused nausea/dizzyness, further eating caused severe bloating/gas (burping/flatulence) and I also had some anxiety (swallowing air) and a feeling of early fullness during eating. I took Motilium (domperidone) which got me back to normal.
In december the same thing happened, but without vomitting /anxiety. This time it went away by itself.
Physical activities are practically impossible to complete without extreme dizziness or vomiting. I have also experienced a abnormally large amount of gas. I am in no way pregnant, and am athletic. I am only 110lbs and 5ft 3. It has been going on for about a week. I am looking for any answers to what may be wrong with me. Thank you in advance!
For the last 2 weeks I have had problems with nausea, vomitting, lightheadedness, stomach cramps and gas. After I eat I feel very nausead like I am going to be sick but for the last couple of days I have been getting sick randomly even if I don't eat. And when I am done eating I still feel like I am starving. I'm not sure what is going on and would like some input.
This initally had good results, but I have evolved into mild constipation and the stomach distress and gas seems to be escalating again. I am taking 300mcg Synthroid, 5mcg Cytomel,daily, vitamins, one HCL and a Digestive enzyme with each meal. I feel pretty good with current thyroid regime, though I do need 10hr of sleep to feel normal, it takes awhile to get going am, and still feel moody. I eat well, lots of veges , cooked and raw, fruit, low meat intake, lots of water.
My heart tends to skip beats occasionally...PVC-type episodes. It seems to be very much related to my stomach problems. When I have gas or acidy stomach, my stomach distends a bit and this seems to cause the palpitations. It feels as if the stomach is pressing on the heart and making it beat irregular. Am I crazy? Or is there some type of relationship between stomach distress and heart palpitations?
about a week ago i started having some really sharp pains on the lower part of my stomach like if someone were stabbing a knife in me..they hurt so bad that if i was standing, i had to sit down or lay down. on the first day they happened about every 15 minutes and they were about a minute long, then as the week went by, they started being less often, less sharp and only about 15 seconds long this week i got my period and my period is very heavy and causes me really bad cramps.
I am 28 yr old men I have stomach gas problem . It's start in 2010/04 when 1 night I had full bottle of whiskey. That night everything ok next morning I wake up while going to work I had mother drink 300ml after 1 hr of mother drink I had break fast about 7:30am soon after I start feeling dizzy and heart beat gone up my hand shaking and I went to emergency in kogarah. In hospital after few hrs I feel ok they just keep me under observation for 5-6 hrs send me home with vitamin pills.
I went to the doctor about a week ago and told him everything. I forgot to ask for a breath test though. He gave me a prescription for Omeprazole 20 mg when I told him I'd been taking it, so insurance pays for most of it now. In July I am supposed to go back if I don't get any better, which I don't think I will. He said he will take an x-ray then (barium x-ray I assume). This stuff isn't getting worse and I have stopped worrying about what it is (for the most part).
