my age is 26, working in an ad agency. from past8 month i suffering sum pain in my left right, back side.
i have done stress test, 2d echo, chest x ray....all normal.visited my doctor several time bt all he saying is it is a muscular pain. may be due to gas. i do have gas & acidity problem, & motion are not regular.
bt the chest pain keep coming in every day or two, & got irritated with it so do my family.
can any1 plz explain this pain is due to why?
With pain in head, left arm, forearm and wrist, the first thing to be ruled out is a heart condition by a 12 lead EKG. Constipation and gas could be causing pressure on the heart. The other possibility is compression of the spinal nerves in the cervical spine region. This can happen due to overuse of computers, work involving straining of neck, herniated disc, canal stenosis, bone disease, spondylosis, poor posture etc. A MRI of the cervical spine and nerve conduction studies may be required.
but because you say the pains are not constant, it could be lungs, gas pains or just being muscular skeletal, the only way to know for sure is to go into see a doctor, additional questions and tests, I would start with a simple x-ray of the shoulder and cervical spine. this will also give a high level picture of gas, muscl strain etc... you should start there with a doctor and some blood work, ans some medical history. I would not worry to much until you have some evaluations completed.
I have the same problem sometimes, its most likely gas pain. When I need to relieve gas pain in my chest and upper back I drink about 2-3oz of lemon juice in a glass of water and take a few gas x. It helps me a lot. Try not to drink carbonated beverages after 6pm, and drink the lemon water after dinner and before bed to help relieve the pain all night long, It works wonders for me.
hi there. im only 13 and i get skipped heart beats. but before these, like a year ago, i also got bad chest pain. usually lasted for a couple hours then it just turned out to be gas. i still am perplexed to this day. i noticed that drinking water,eating whole grains, and sleeping helps. try that. but if you got a lot of tests done then it has to be benign. dont worry, even though i know it hurts. just try the things i said and tell me how they work.
After the surgery for a few days (3 days) i had BAD shoulder pain which i was told this is normal because of the gas they give you in surgery. It did go away after 3 days and i felt better than i had in awhile. Now im starting to notice my shoulder is starting to hurt again, does anyone know if this is this still from the gas or should i be concerned?
If anyone else who had gallbladder surgery had this happen to them How long did it take to get over the shoulder pain?
i went to the ER once, and felt very embarrassed that my heart attack i thought I was having turned out to be just a bad case of gas! The nurses and doctors told me that I did the right thing by getting checked out, but I still felt pretty silly. Hope you feel better, and that it wasn't anything serious.
My personal experience is, any chest pain.... I would go to the E.R.
You can actually have mini heart attacks. I know you don't have the $, but
what if there is something wrong. It may just be heart burn, try pepto bismol or something like that if you want first. But I would go to the E.R., they have to treat you. Hope that helps.
After my procedure the pain was bad, the man that was taking care of me after in recovery told me to lie on my left side and let them rip!!! As soon as I relieved all the gas, pain went away. The pain is GAS. The nausea could be from them working on you, do not forget your intestines do attach to your stomach. He also found 4 more polyps, all good. And as far as the anesthesiologist is concerned, they do their job right, the patient only went under twilight.
