gas pain relief home remedies

I am 27wks with first baby and have been suffering from vaginal [pressure] pain and back pain. I have done all the home remedies and have taken what the Dr prescribes, but nothing seems to even EASE the pain. By the end of the day I am doubled over with pain and in tears!! Anyone have any suggestions????

Not a pregnancy question but i need some input i just had my baby june 27 and hes been home since monday he seems to have real bad colic & gas and i hate seeing him in pain have any of you ladies experienced/experiencing this if so how did you help it?

I get such severe menstrual cramps every month and it's unbearable.. I started this morning and have already taken my prescription pain medication, but it's not working. I'm wearing a heating pad which slightly helps. I do all the "home remedies", though I'm still in pain! What else can I do for pain management?? I have an appointment with my gyno in a week and a half, but today and tomorrow I have the extreme pain and want to do something to stop it now. Any ideas?

FTM, 33 weeks. Anyone out there have any recommendations or home remedies to help deal with sciatic pain? I've got a few weeks left to go, but the lower left side of my butt is making it hard to sleep, walk, crawl into bed, etc...any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

This is a funny question but it is something that is painful. I've had horrible, horrible gas pain for the last three days. I've tried gas-x but it hasn't helped. I waited too long to eat the other day and gobbled up a bag of popcorn. That's when the pain started. Even ginger tea hasn't helped. I drank some root beer and it helped some but it has artificial sweetener so i don't want to drink a lot of it. Help, I'm starting to worry.

Ive been taking zantac but I can get reflux 2 hrs after taking one and I know it says do not take two within 24 hrs.

You can take honey or apply some balm on your throat and put a scarf around your neck to keep ot warm.

i'm currentlygoing through chronic back pain ,had a lumbar laminectomy a year ago,and a spinal fusion in a month ,the problem is my insurance doen't cover any pain relief in meds ,so is there any natural remedies i can try to help relieve some of this pain i use ice and heat ,it helps a little but to no avail.any advice would be helpful........

Oh yeah! I totally forgot about swimming! It feels great, your weightless and it's amazing. I did massage but be careful, I had one when I had bad sciatic pain and she used too much pressure, I thought I was gonna die afterwards. I had one recently with sciatic pain and it relaxed me but did not help at all with pain. I'm sure the prenatal type of massage makes a difference. I've gotten better results with chiropractic and physical therapy than massage personally.

I tried IV meds first and they gave me no pain relief at all. The epidural was by far the best pain relief.

thank you all for your kind words, i was so worried the cyst was the size of a 7/8 month pregnancy and fluid filled i got home yesterday afternoon am in a lot of pain main cause is the wind but we just dont seem to have the same stuff for wind you guys have in the US i have come home 12LBs lighter than i went in lol...

Hi, i'm due to have surgery this wk to remove a 10cm Dermoid cyst, does anyone know if you are given pain relief to take home and if so what tablets do they give you? I'm concerned that just Paracetamol or similar won't be strong enough, also is there anything i could buy to help with gas pain that i hear you get?

I have OA in my shoulder, and I have tried over the counter, prescription, and home remedies. I have tried Certo and grape juice, tylenol arthritis, Celebrex, and the off brand of something similar. So far I have found that Celebrex works the best, especially when paired with physical exercise. Lifting light weights, doing push-ups on a wall, even just arm circles and stretching. It sounds like it would make it worse, but it actually helps a lot!

I get gas build up from anything and everything I eat. I have tried home remedies but they fail to work. I bloat so bad and I am in pain until I start vomiting due to all of the build up in my stomach. I want to know if gas x or beano is safe while pregnant and if not what is.
