Avatar f tn I get bad pain in my lower back and in my stomach and found out a lot of mine is gas build up during the day. I found if I lay back in a recliner or in the bath tub I get a lot of relief and the gas can escape. I know tmi lol. I don't know why it builds up but it sure hurts!
1472764 tn?1287588186 This is a funny question but it is something that is painful. I've had horrible, horrible gas pain for the last three days. I've tried gas-x but it hasn't helped. I waited too long to eat the other day and gobbled up a bag of popcorn. That's when the pain started. Even ginger tea hasn't helped. I drank some root beer and it helped some but it has artificial sweetener so i don't want to drink a lot of it. Help, I'm starting to worry.
Avatar f tn If its tightness accompanied by pain in the upper abdomen that radiates around to the back-it may be gall bladder related-especially if accompanied by vomiting. Talk to your doc about it.
Avatar f tn Any ladies had this as pain relief during labour? Last time I had an epidural once I felt I had suffered enough but im wondering how this works. Does it relieve the pain but your not bed ridden?
Avatar f tn Tums and rolaids do work for gas... And it not just for heart burn... Trust me, my grandma has be using them for gas relief for years... I know for a fact they do work for that, now if they will work for you that way who knows but that why I say you should try... I still say try the Sprite cause that works for me... The strong carbonation will help push that gas either up or down and you will soon be able to burp or pass it thru... Good luck!!!
Avatar f tn You can take gas x after dinner. I too have alot of gas pain, my doc said to just follow the instructions on the box and take as is. Hope this helps!
Avatar f tn was just wondering what type of pain relief everyone uses or plans on using during labour...
Avatar f tn I tried IV meds first and they gave me no pain relief at all. The epidural was by far the best pain relief.
Avatar f tn Does anyone have any labour experience with the gas pain relief good or bad....I'd love some more insight......
Avatar f tn ve not seen any post where people have used other pain relief apart from epidural. It just seem a big leap from going all natural to an epidural.
Avatar m tn What causes gas pain in my left shoulder blade? This discussion is related to <a href="/posts/Digestive-Disorders---Gastroenterology/Pain-in-left-shoulder-blade--left-arm/show/888381">Pain in left shoulder blade, left arm</a>.
Avatar f tn Hi Mamas! I just can't make my mind up about what pain relief method to go for in labour. What methods did you go for and what was your experience? Epidural, gas, injection,...would you choose the same method again? Why/ why not? Thank you!
Avatar f tn What are the pain relief options during pregnancy I already know I don't want a shot in my back but are there any other options?
Avatar f tn I have this problem even during the day when I am moving around. My doctor said to watch my diet, cut down or out soda, caffine and 'healthy' veggies. If not, well you'll just have gas. I find it almost unbearable sometimes and have little interest in eating anything. Good Luck, if you find out anything else, let us know.
Avatar f tn Had pain on left side then did bowel movment and had some relief; has anyone.
Avatar f tn What are all the pain relief options for when you are in labor, other than an epidural?
Avatar f tn Yep I love gas and air... It doesnt take the pain away but it helps to distract the pain, and you take it as you want it, so it is your control. They effects wear off as soon as you stop breathing it in. I plan to use it again this time round too.
