Like Chantel said, it should NOT be sharp pains, prolonged pain, pain that is not relieved by chnaging positions, or accompanied by bleeding (especially red or heavy bleeding).

I just woke up out of my sleep due to excruciating rib pain. It hurts so bad!!! When I breathe, cough, yawn, & move it hurts. Idk what triggered it as I was sleeping and woke up with it.

There are many potential reasons--stretching of the uterus, the corpus luteum cyst ( a good cyst) on the ovary, gas pains, etc. What you need to watch out for is any severe pain, or cramping especially if combined with bleeding. It is always a good idea to run any worriesome symptoms past your doctor or his/her nurse. I wish you all the best!

Aches and pains along with cramps are very normal throughout pregnancy. Gas is also an extremely common symptom. You should mention the pain at your next OB appointment though - they can check for a cyst. If the pain increases, give them a call. Congrats on your pregnancy!

That's where your appendix is. Where did the pain start? Try taking something for gas, like Phazyme (simethicone) and lie down. If it improves within 30 minutes it's probably gas. If it does not, then you might want to call the doctor.

m not eating anything out of the ordinary and even normal gas is nothing like this. Of course, I could be trying to call it a pregnancy symptom with hope... so I am wondering, did anyone else have crazy awful gas in the week before they were able to test?

but the most annoying symptom is the gas, it is so annoying, and i am afraid of medicine, but no matter what i eat it seems like i cant get rid of the gas.

BUT being that badly bloated would make me a bit nervous!! I would definitely advise you to take a trip to the ER just in case. Stomach pain and gas are a normal symptom but I don't think extreme bloating and that amount of pain is. Please consider going to the ER just to be safe?

OB told me to focus more on fruit/veggie fiber intake than the breads, wheat, oats, etc. too much of the grainy fibers can make you constipated. make sure there is fiber in your green drinks and not just juice. Some juice smoothies are ok but most are just sugary drinks if there's no fiber listed. I drink peppermint tea for gas pain. It seems to help.

It is a very common pregnancy symptom. It will get to the point where you don't even feel the gas, it just slips out.

This might be a TMI for few but a night I have horrible gas pain that just won't go away n I get constipated . is there a way to relive everything without taking something ? Our do I need to take something?

I have been farting all day & I'm not talking about those silent but deadly farts, I'm talking about those loud forceful farts that have bass to them LMBO !!!! I like to call them thunderous farts that scare ya smh .....

its pelvic grindle pain.. also because we ladies sleep on one side for long time baby starts to put pressure on your side and when you change side it hurts like hell.. i use to sleep on my back till 30wks.. now i cant so i sleep either left or right side and so when i change side my left hip hurt so bad and i can tell my legs tired ... cant do much about it all i do is keep changing sides at night..

My wife just recently had an ectopic pregnancy surgery that left her in the hospital for more than 2 weeks. She lost her fallopian tube and was placed into a drug induced coma after losing too much blood and her oxygen levels went down to 60%. She has since mad a miraculous recovery and is home now. The reason I ask is because the gas pain that you describe sounds like biliary colic, which causes pain like a steady gripping or gnawing pain in the upper right abdomen near the rib cage, which can be severe and can radiate to the upper back. Some patients with biliary colic experience the pain behind the breast bone. This is typical in gall bladder inflammation.... this symptom is usually less frequent than weekly and the return of the symptom can even be years apart.

Considering my first pregnancy was painful n I had every symptom in the book n I had surgery at my ten weeks with him (right ovary was removed). Lol I have sore nipples but not so bad. Last night I broke down in tear n got really bad heart burn.

Always pooping isn't a symptom of pregnancy lol but all we can tell you is to take a test. You may find better answers in the forum mentioned above.
