gas pain pregnancy

This might be a TMI for few but a night I have horrible gas pain that just won't go away n I get constipated . is there a way to relive everything without taking something ? Our do I need to take something?

I had 2 seperate occasions with severe gas pains during this pregnancy it was unreal!..

s normal to have extra gas while pregnant and is normal to cause abdominal pain. This is my first pregnancy so I spend a lot of my days on google and asking other moms a million questions haha! I am 27 weeks and I get that when I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning.

I'm only 4 weeks pregnant, I found out yesterday.. But I've been having cramps in my stomach.. Is that normal. I'll get a cramp then my stomach will be bubbly and I'll release gas & be fine haha. Is this okay tho?

Gas can really hurt! :( Try some gas x. I never had gas probs until pregnancy & although I haven't had pains which made me want to go to the ER, it's been uncomfortable & gasx has been really helpful.

Tips or techniques to get rid of pregnancy gas? I can feel it trapped in my bowels and it's unbearable. I ate too much food too quickly and honestly... I have a wheat my bag on and I've tried squatting and gently shuffling myself around. What else can I do?

I think your utuers is growing accomadate your growing baby. Probably just round ligaments pains have some rest. & lay on ur left side..

My pain has started since my pregnancy and its not gas. Nothing helps but letting the pain go away on its own. It's just on my left side.

It will hurt once you get contractions and go into labor. Pregnancy doesn't feel like anything until you get a belly going. You'll feel your symptoms from pregnancy. And you'll feel baby move between 16-20 weeks. That feels like gas bubbles, popcorn popping a and flutters at first.

I never knew that gas can be used to help for pain in labor. That's really interesting.. I'd like to know as well..

Im 29 weeks and i have an uncomfortable pain in my lower part of my uterus.. I dont know if its gas thats what it feels like.. Anyone else have these pains?? What is it?..

I'm 30+4 and been having that as well. I'm taking zantac and trying to have as much dairy products as possible, they say that helps...

Like Chantel said, it should NOT be sharp pains, prolonged pain, pain that is not relieved by chnaging positions, or accompanied by bleeding (especially red or heavy bleeding).

I'm about 10 weeks pregnant and have been feeling what I think are gas pains. It is pain that moves around from my back (mid to upper) and abdomen. Is/has anyone experienced this? I'm wondering if I should schedule an appointment because it may be something more serious. Any thoughts?

It is normal unfortunately. Call your doctor and check, or ask your pharmacist (in fact I highly recommend the pharmacist) but there are several stool softeners considered safe for use in pregnancy and they can direct you towards one - I highly recommend this.

but is this possible to having upper back pain n sides back pain during pregnancy or because of pregnancy? n sometimes specialy when i m on bed i feel difficulty in breath. for 2 weeks i feel all the time tired. gastric problem is the common problem in pregnancy or should i see gastro doctor? i dont have constipation ( except sometimes) or nauses. but this gas is killing me!!!!!! i m 18 week pregnant and 27 yr old. this is my first pregnancy.

I'm having a very rough pregnancy. I have the worst cramps from having gas I've every had in my life. One night I thought I could have been having a heart attack. Is this an issue for anyone else?

Are you sure its gas? I have had a stabbing pain in my ribs here and there and we're about the same time along. They were just short stabs though. Maybe try something to reduce gas/ bloat?

Some cramps are expected in pregnancy due to hormonal changes, gas, constipation etc. If you have a tipped or retroverted uterus then this can also cause pain. It can also be due to infection. Any sharp pain in the abdomen can be due to gas, threatened abortion, infection or due to unrelated causes such as kidney or gall bladder stones. In your case since it has been happening for last so many weeks, it must be gas.
