does a heart attact act like gas? I have lots of gas most all the time. I get pains in my chest sometimes on my left side. And sometimes right, but the left makes my think im having a heart attack. So, many people the last few days have died of sudden heart attacts.

I would start to feel like I was going to pass out, chest pain, etc. You actually feel like you are having a heart attack. They put me on Proazc, and I haven't had another panic attack since! As for your stomach, you really need to go to a Gastro Doctor. Are you the nervous type? I ask, because I am, and I've had IBS ever since I was a kid. I get terrible spasms, whenever I get upset. Please, try to find a doctor, to check you out?

If the feeling feels like someone is squeezing your inside chest area,then first try a gas pill.If not then go to your doctor and they will run tests.

ve felt like i was having a heart attack before from bad acid indigestion and gas and Sodium bicarbonate was the only thing that helped. It may or may not help you depending on what the problem actually is but it's an easy thing to try and see. I have to have a prescription for it so you may need to ask your doctor for one.

i break out in a sweat and have difficulty breathing. it feels like indegestion, but tums does not help. i feel like i need a rescue but i would feel stupid if it was just gas. the other day while shoppen i had that same chest pain this time i felt like i was going to faint, so i sat on a bench and waited it out. these occurences are happening more often. can someone out there help me.

Numerous things can cause chest pains and some of those pains might make you swear you're having a heart attack but just be gas or indigestion. Having said that you should NEVER ignor them.. Even the emergency department immediately moves one into triage room just to be safe. As for you increased heart rate, that could easily be explained by being anxious over the pain. It might be a good idea to get a thorough check up so as to rule out any possible heart condition.

I am 18 years old and I have sever chest pains at least 3 to 4 times a week. Sometimes more. The pain usually comes hours after I eat. It first be in back then goes to my chest. My chest feels like its being crushed. My heart be raising and I be really scared thinking i am about to die or something. When he rests he has no pain at all and its only on movement - surely with a heart attack you would have continous pain and not just on movement

Hi pink, i experience the same problem as you.... gas and chest pain.... i get nervous and think i am going to get a heart attack...... i took a endoscopy which shows some blood clots in my stomach. and doctor said it is called erosive gastitis and there is nothing to worry. i am still under medication. iam waiting for the full course of medication to finish. but the doctor has said to me it is not permanently curable... it will come time and again and disturb you....

After all these years, the docs have still be able to put me on something that helps with the trapped gas. I get such bad attacks that it feels like a heart attack and I cant breath. Sometimes my husband has to physically support me because they make me so weak. What I have independently found helpful so far. Hot natural peppermint tea. It helps me to burp and the hot water is soothing. I drink it daily or nightly.

Hi, im an 18 year old female I weigh about 160, my mother & sister has high blood pressure, other than that no family heart issues/attacks. For the past 4 days my left arm (upper) and my left coller bone has been aching, I wouldn't say pain.. its more like pulling a muscle feeling and also my left side of my neck, it can really feel it if I lean forward.
