Hi, my partner and I found out on Wednesday that we are pregnant, this will be my second child but im having a lot of pain in my lower left abdomen. I was sent straight to hospital on Wednesday night with querie ectopic pregnancy and I've had 2 scans. I'm 5 weeks pregnant and im a little worried because although they can see what they call a fluid sack they can't rule out an ectopic.

About a month and a half ago I started having a burning sensation in my lower right abdomen. The pain was pretty steady but I noticed it would flare up most often when I got up to walk at work. Are you having any other symptoms? Is the pain relieved with lying down? Have you tried a gas reliever like Gas-Ex or Phazyme (simethicone)? Have you had normal bowel movements? Is there blood in your stool? Is it an odd color? Do you have diarrhea? Are you vomiting?

Pain, which goes around, and bulge and belching...it sounds as a gas. In your case the gas may come both from the stomach and small intestine.
Have a breath test for H. pylori and
another test for small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO).

I started taking the medicine and a week later, I had severe gas problem in my abdomen (more in the lower abdomen) and muscle cramps at the lower back region. I thought it was due to some foodstuff related gas problem. It persisted for 2 days. When I took simethicone (Phazyme 180mg softgel), the bloaty feeling subsided and muscle cramps subsided.
I have had a swelling of my lower abdomen for over 2 months now it just happened one night I had to get up to urinate multiple times then the next morning I noticed that my lower stomach was swollen I had no pain just pressure around my bladder so I went to my doctor and I was given Macrobid for a bladder infection well I finished that but it did not help.

The only way to diagnose IBS is by your symptoms and trapped gas causing pain which is relieved when passing the gas is a biggie. Look at what you are eating and drinking on a regular basis and eliminate one thing and see if this improves....if not add that food back into your diet and remove another...this is how you will find out if it's food causing the problem. Other symptoms of IBS is constipation or diarrhea and alternating between the two.
I've been having pain and discomfort in my lower right abdomen and colon area. There has been some feeling of pressure and some sharp pain as well as some dull and a few times prickly pain. It is increased when I have gas bubbles passing through that area. I'll get the pain and then alittle while later, I emit the gas bubble externally. i have been to the doctor and had a ct scan for having lower abdomen muscle pain. i have a lump that comes and goes in my lower left side of my abdomen. dr. said the ct scan was normal. i had a total hysterectomy 5 years ago because of severe endometreosis. it had adheared my bowel and bladder to my uteris. had to have bowel and bladder cut away and then a radical hysterectomy. dr. said go see a surgeon.
I've had a VERY mild and VERY sporadic pain in my lower left abdomen that has come and gone over the past two weeks. I have no other symptoms. Any ideas on that this could be?
