my age is 26, working in an ad agency. from past8 month i suffering sum pain in my left right, back side. i have done stress test, 2d echo, chest x ray....all normal.visited my doctor several time bt all he saying is it is a muscular pain. may be due to gas. i do have gas & acidity problem, & motion are not regular. bt the chest pain keep coming in every day or two, & got irritated with it so do my family. can any1 plz explain this pain is due to why?

I have pain in my lower stomach - it is related to gas and it comes and goes but it is severe - this is the second day - I did have a colonoscopy and have diverticuli (sp?) - any advice? Hey hayz, well maybe you aren't eating on time and indigestion is causing that bloat, difficulty to digest and all.. Can be gas. Why don't you ask your doctor to give you PPIs, like panteprazole or omezoprazole.. Pop one on an empty stomach and that should reduce the stomach gas and help u reduce your bloat..

I avoided spicy foods and food that causes gas. I took Gas-Ex from time to time when the gas pain was severe. I took Pepto Bismol when I had diarrhea and cramping. I also took over the counter acid reducers for heartburn. My recommendation is to ask for a referral right away to a gynecologist and find out what other tests should be completed to further evaluate and treat the cyst.

I feel for you because that has been my problem for the past 3 weeks and especially today. I have diverticulosis and irritable bowel syndrome and right now I am in pain because I can't pass the gas. I don't know what your diet is like but you should maybe keep a diary of the foods you eat and see what might be causing the gas. Do you drink alot of carbonated drinks, eat a lot of fruit and vegetables?

Do you have regular bowel movements? It could be gas building up at night causing the pain. Maybe trying a gas relief pill before going to bed will help. Best wishes.

at days when im very stressed out,when i sleep at night i usually wake up at the middle of the night feeling severe pain at the abdomen (right side),pain worsen with movement ,pressure,even breathing. the pain reduces gradually with gas relief until its gone.

The only way to diagnose IBS is by your symptoms and trapped gas causing pain which is relieved when passing the gas is a biggie. Look at what you are eating and drinking on a regular basis and eliminate one thing and see if this improves....if not add that food back into your diet and remove another...this is how you will find out if it's food causing the problem. Other symptoms of IBS is constipation or diarrhea and alternating between the two.

Well, I work at our ranch and do a lot of physical work, I sweat a lot and drink lots of water. I never really have pains as i discribed until i eat or the day after some really big meals. I dislike the pain in the heart area, don't understand how pain of gas could be there is my main concern. I would think it would be in my stomock area and not in my chest.

Umm I'm 26 weeks 1 day and I have been having bad stomach issues for like a week. (TMI alert) I keep having these bad stomach cramps like I'm going to have diarrea but it never happens. Then I have some bad gas and it goes away. Sorry I'm disgusting I know! I don't know what's causing it though.

I had my gallbladder removed 4/11 and since the removal i still continue to have pain on my right side and my stomach is still bloated. Okay so last night I woke up crying & screaming in pain! If I sleep on my back with my head elevated I can mostly prevent any pain. I still burp and pass gas more than a normal amount during the day. If I even lie down or invert my body in any way I can feel the uncomfortableness almost immediately start to build. I’m a 26 year old male. Although I’ve managed to deal with this, it’s been long enough where I feel it may never just go away on its own. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, it could be causing gas and cramping. The artificial sweetener in the Crystal lite can cause those symptoms in some people. Maybe try experimenting by cutting back on the amount that you drink of it and see if it makes any difference. You may want to actually try cutting it out completely for a couple of weeks first and then gradually add it back in - that might give you a more accurate idea as to whether it's the cause of your problems.

How long should I expect this burning and pain to continue? Could this be the gas leaking from my eye? Is the gas acidic and mixing with the drops causing this burning? Yea I poop too but bowels move slower so baby can get all the nutrients before its expelled, causing constipation pain when you poop sometime.

t smoke and I only have a few beers once in awhile. This pain is in the same place every morning. If it is gas why would it sit in the same place ? Someone said, it was my Pyloric valve. I don't even know what that is, but it seems like once I move around the pain goes away until the next morning. I do have a hiatal herna and Barrette's Esophagus along with acid reflux and GERDS. I take NEXIUM 40mg. twice a day.

Not saying this is what is causing your pain but you should definitely get a doctors opinion. Because if that be the case it is very dangerous if left untreated.

There's no way to force it out. You'll slowly 'out-gas' over a period of days following the surgery.

When you are cycling it could be gas causing the pain and it may just be your muscles spasming.

About 8-9 years ago i did had a really middle chest pain for 2-3 days. Now, I burped daily to get the gas out, I thought it was normal until today. Could you help me with this? Can this be cure?
