gabapentin and adderall

I became addicted to oxycodone 15mg in 2012 after my first back surgery, obviously I was on them while I was in the hospital for 7days after surgery then took them for about 4 days once I got home. I tried to stop and became sick and realized I was addicted. I go to a pain clinic for my chronic pain. Since then I had surgery on my elbow and just 2 weeks ago I had another back surgery. My oxycodone has never been upped in dosage so of course it doesn't help with the pain.

Not sure you're right about taking two or more of these can cause it. Two of the drugs affect serotonin, but only trazadone does this primarily. However, any of these drugs by themselves (not including melatonin, which is not a drug and is one of the safest supplements ever studied) could cause all of your side effects and the combination wouldn't be appealing to me.

So I am suffering a great deal with this ongoing persistent ailment every day and i have been taking amphetamines(adderall) to curb the sensations and have taken pain killers in the past. Both have worked, but once a tolerance is built up, I am left with these excrusiatingly agitating syptoms. I Need ANSWERS. Has anyone experienced this..and if so what meds have helped or what kind of doctor have you seen?

m prescribed effexor, gabapentin, klonapin, adderall, and naltrexone. I do drink, though the naltrexone has helped. If I over-indulge, I can get kind of crazy. So I have to stop that. I am not bi-polar, although that seems to be what the doctor thinks since he keeps upping my dose of gabapentin. He recently told me to stop taking the adderall entirely which seem a little risky since I was on 50mg's and just recently was dropped to 30.

m now down to 1800mg per day gabapentin, and 75mg amitriptyline. Pain still ebbs and flows on a daily basis; with a definite increase in discomfort and disturbing sensations in my left hand since coming down on the gabpentin. Prior to all of this I was considering giving Lyrica a try, in the hopes it might do a better job than the gabapentin, as it does for many here. I see my GP tomorrow to discuss this, and will let you know what I decide.

My Doctor is working with me and helping me in any way he can. I have ADHA and use to take Adderall daily. I asked my doc if I could get back on it while taking Suboxone and he said yes and perscribed it to me again. My question is if I should be taking these two meds together or not? I know my doc perscribed them to me but I can't help but question if it's ok. Does anyone have any takes on this? I am taking 8mg Sub 2x daily and 30mg Adderall 2x daily right now.

ve been taken around 300mgs of hydrocodone, as well as at least 200mgs of adderall on a everyday basis. And I want quit on my own can someone please give me some advice to make it bearable? Thank you for any feedback you can give..

ve been on since January and I stopped it 3-4weeks ago and there is still some tenderness. But in addition I was put on adderall about 1-1.5 months before that. Is it possible that the culprit is really the amphetamine and not the propecia ?? Thanks for your help.

She had been on Adderall for ADHD, went into a hypermanic event and was involuntarily committed for treatment. After her release she went back to her original Psychiatrist who again prescribed Adderall for her. Is Adderall ever used for bipoplar disorder. Everything I have read says no. How can I convince her Dr. to not prescribe it anymore? Please help us.

I've been prescribed adderall for the past 4 years, I currently take 75mg per day. A couple months ago my Dr. started me on strattera in conjunction with my adderall. I have not noticed any improvement in my ability to concentrate or remain organized since starting the strattera, however my anxiety is gone and I am finally happy. A couple weeks ago my Dr. left and I was given a "temp" to take her place.

I was done and without contacting my doctor or thinking about further repercussions I stopped the Xanax, Vicodin and Adderall, I could have lived through the Vicodin and Adderall withdrawals without problems if Xanax were not in the eqasion but Xanax made and is making it living hell. I currently take 60mg Adderall XR once a day and recently my Dr. added Celexa 20mg once a day..Anyone have any experience with that combination?I noticed yesterday for about five minutes my hearing wasnt as good..then that went back to normal..this is after adding the celexa..Adderall never did this..I also now have diarrhea where with only the Adderall I only went once a week...but Adderall makes me not hungry at all...not till after 6 pm..

anyways i then stop the medication, which i had no problem stopping at all since i slowly went from two 20 mg of adderall a day for each 8 hours class in the morning and night. To one pill and day, to one pill every other day, till nothing at all. SO don't think it's like taking (CRACK COCAINE) and almost impossible to stop.

I've been taking adderall for about 10 years now, and I've always had problems with my voice, specifically the volume of my voice. Especially when I take an extra tablet, the next day my voice is breathy and hoarse. Do you think this has to do with adrenal burnout? Or could it be LPR (silent reflux)? I worry the Adderall is altering stomach acid PH? which might be causing my lower esophageal sphincter to get stuck open, causing pepsin leakage into throat?

I was a healthy energetic 30yo before I started taking adderall. I discontinued taking it and I did start back on it and it didn't help with my pain, but actually gave me severe headaches and mild seizures. I'm glad it's helping you though. At least you're getting relief from your symptoms someway.

oh honey, get him off that stuff! my son has adhd and bipolar, and they tried to treat both, but adderall is a definite no-no. it increases aggressive behavior and raging. you will have to teach him to deal with paying attention, but you can't treat bipolar using any other technique than drugs and therapy. take him off soon, and let usknow how it goes. good luck to you!
