Since seeing that the topic of smoking weed while pregnant is of relevance, I have a few pointers myself. Smoking weed in the State of Ohio while pregnant can in fact cause them to take your baby from you. It happened to one of my friends. Just dont do it also, for the health facts for him or her. Think about them and not yourself. Roll with the punches and create selflessness and willpower.

So all this talk about weed and pregnancy made me dream that I was smoking weed just for the fun of it... I felt horrible in my dream (and after) but I just couldnt stop smoking.. idk if this is how these women feel but its not a good feeling. well first off, congrats on quitting the weed and alcohol. marijuauna is only a mental addiction, not physical so what you need to do is when the cravings come stay busy. occupy your mind with something you don't associate smoking weed with. if you have smoked for 12 years it may be a few months before the cravings start to disappear, but with some time you won't even think about it no more.

Let me start by saying that I'm not smoking while pregnant. However, I've read up on it and from what I've read smoking weed won't harm the baby, unlike alcohol which can cause fetal alcohol syndrome! If course some reports say it's bad. Thoughts? Has anyone actually eeaearched this? I'm especially curious about this in states where pot is legal.

Increase your baby's heart rate. Increase the chances of miscarriage and stillbirth. Increase the risk that your baby is born prematurely and/or born with low birth weight. Increase your baby's risk of developing respiratory (lung) problems. Second hand smoke has been shown to be just as harmful.

Smoking everyday is too much, trust me he will get burnt out quickly and its not fun. But smoking weed as a reward or just on the weekends and a couple times durng the week, so long as his priorites are still being conpleted, then it should be fine. Keep in the look out for further drug use though.

I would highly recommend that you refrain from smoking tobacco during pregnancy, the dangerous part about smoking cannabis is inhaling burning plant matter, not the cannabis. I also was a weed smoker but you have got to thank about your baby I stopped for myn they will take that baby cause they test at every Dr app and they test baby at birth

I just got home from a vacation so due to the 9 hour time difference I have been very jet lagged. I forgot to take my meds for 4 days. I also made the poor decision of smoking weed last night and when I woke up today all I wanted to do was cry. It feels like I'm going to die inside. I just wanna hug my knees in the corner. I know that weed and SSRI's can cause problems with serotonin, and the fact that I haven't been taking my meds.

At 19 yo, I start having panic attacks just after I finish smoking some weed... I continued to smoke weed for 1 month but I had more and more panic and felt like I wasn't normal all the time. I had panic attacks during smoking weed back in my day. That's kind of when they started. I didnt know I was having panic during... I thought it was just a bad high... and it was. But! My Dr. said even if I NEVER smoked weed.. it was probably just a matter of time before I got a panic attack, regardless. Smoking prob. just helped induce it.

this is normal for someone with little experience smoking weed. do not worry about it. but just from my experience with drugs..try to stay away from them they only led to worse situations and harder drugs.

I am 10 weeks pregnant and I just found out 2 weeks ago, before I found out I was smoking weed and cigs really heavly I was wondering would that hurt the baby ? I smoked weed with my first, but cut back to once or twice a week and only a hit or two and she came out perfectly healthy, very smart, no side effects. I did stop before my 3rd trimester because I was afraid of drug testing. This time I am doing the same thing but haven't stopped in the 3rd trimester because I have been very sick and still working up to 36 weeks which has cause siatic (spelling?) Nerve pains in my back daily. I try taking Tylenol but it doesn't do enough.

I don't smoke weed but smoking or drinking anything when pregnant seems selfish since you're sharing your body with a helpless baby. I've heard that it can cause birth defects and premature births. Also, when the doctor takes blood and what not they drug test you I know a lot of states drug test in the hospital too. If the tests are positive CPS will be paying you a visit or worse they just not let you take the baby home.

I don't smoke cigarettes at all but was wondering has any one else smoked weed while prego?
