Avatar f tn About 3 days later I started noticing a increase in my need to urinate (because of this I started drinking more water, to be sure not to get dehydrated, which of course lead to more frequent urination ) I also started feeling a slight pain towards the tip of my penis... Not during urination but just throughout the day, I never noticed any discharge, swelling, or abdominal pain... And the frequency at which I urinate has gone back to more of a regular amount..
Avatar f tn I am a 40 year old woman with the problem of frequent urination. I do not have diabetes or UTI and my ultrasound scan is normal. I underwent a D&C procedure in December of 2007. My urologist thinks that I should see a psychiatrist. I have a bulky uterus. I was 200 lbs three years ago, now I am 125 lbs, (through diet and excercise). My gynec told me that I have over-exercised,(walking 14 km a day). I feel constant irritation and pressure in my bladder.

First, the hormones of pregnancy themselves namely HCG. But second, you are pumping more blood to the abdominal area and this affects the kidneys which will have more urine output. For many women it is the very first sign of pregnancy (as it is often really subtle, early pregnancy symptoms).
Avatar n tn Ovarian cysts can cause irregular menstrual bleeding, lower abdominal pain, pain on urination and pelvic pain after sex.It is essential to rule out the above mentioned causes. Seek the opinion of a gynecologist. A complete examination and work up is important. Hope it helps. Best luck and regards!
Avatar n tn I am having frequent urination problem with pain for the past two years. I consulted a doctor and he replied as problem in bladder. How to solve this problem.
Avatar m tn The typical symptoms of prostatitis are fever, pelvic, testicle, or rectal pain, frequent and painful urination and ejaculation and incomplete emptying of bladder. So it is very difficult to say whether you are having prostatitis or not. However for prostatitis the first line of treatment is by antibiotics and in some cases, a course of antibiotics may last two to three months. Hence you should follow up with your urologist. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Avatar f tn frequent urination and abdominal pain. I went to.the Dr and have a bacterial infection. I requested to be screened for stds bit this can.take days for results. Does my symptoms sound like a normal.uti or STD?
Avatar f tn I have no other symptoms, except like you I do have frequent urination. I feel fine, have no pain or pressure and my only complaint is the frequent urination, although I'm on a high fiber diet and drink 80 ounces of water a day, so I'd expect to have frequent urination. I'm trying to decide whether to leave the cyst alone since it's not bothering me and since everything else on the CT scan appeared clean.
Avatar f tn I note that at that time I can recall having abdominal pain and flu like symptoms. 3 weeks later my symptoms started to come back and I ended up getting myself checked out, everything came back negative for STD's. My only symptoms at this time was frequent urination and penile discomfort (on/off), no discharge. I had to wait to see my urologist so in the mean time I took Cipro I had on hand that my urologist gave to me incase I had any flare ups.
Avatar f tn Urinary tract (which consists of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and the urethra) infections are very common in young women. Symptoms of UTI are frequent urination, burning sensation during urination, passing of blood in urine and even fever. The most common causes of repeated UTIs are kidney stones and diabetes mellitus. Women who are sexually active, who use diaphragms for birth control, and/or are past menopause are at an increased risk for urinary tract infections.
Avatar f tn I have symptoms of a uti with no infection, had a ct scan done my kidneys and liver are fine. but i am having a dull pain in my lower back and frequent urination pain is quite tollerable it feels almost like i pinched a nerve.
Avatar f tn Since Christmas I have been experiencing back pain on the right side, frequent urination again and occasional lower right abdominal and pelvic pain. Am waiting for an ultrasound to determine whether I have a kidney stone or fibroidsa(due to occasional spotting after intercourse), however the last couple of days the abdominal pain has worsened and I now have an ammonia-like smell in my urine. Could the original thought of kidney stones be the right one??
Avatar n tn Do you have a pain in the back, lower back or above the waist? Do you experience pain during sexual intercourse? Do you experience frequent urination or frequent urge to urinate? Have you noticed any unusual change in the urine colour? Are there any accompanying symptoms e.g abdominal pain?
Avatar f tn I'm female, 32 years old, not overweight, and healthy except for the intestinal and pelvic pains I've been experiencing. I've suffered from intense abdominal pain for the last two years; the pain has progressed (?) from abdominal to pelvic (although I still feel abdominal pain but it's overridden by the pelvic pain). I've made dietary changes; I've been gluten-free for two years, and am limiting coffee and acidic food intake.
Avatar m tn Any possibility that I could have no symptoms yet she has an STI that is causing her Lower back and abdominal pain, nausea, fatigue and frequent urination? She has had these symptoms a few weeks after my encounter and they are getting worse. Should I get tested for all STI and if I don't have one safe to say my partner doesn't?
Avatar m tn had a protected vaginal sex and unprotected oral sex. few days after that got a tingling sensation on tip of my penis. later it developed to frequent urination & needle pinching like pain inside urethra that comes and goes very quickly and also abdominal pain that comes and goes. this incident happened to me 2 years ago. i still have mild tingling sensation ( not always ) and random mild abdominal pain as well.
Avatar m tn Over the last 2 weeks I have been experiencing mild abdominal pain and frequent urination. I went to the emergency room and got my urine tested and xrays done. Everything was fine, except they said I was constipated also they could tell I had anxiety problems from my body language. Every time I sit down I feel a pressure in my bladder and the urgency to pee. It burns every once in a while on the inside of the tip of my penis when I urinate.
Avatar n tn There is four years that i am having frequent problems with urination and the doctors seem to think it is all in my head. I began to have this frequent need to urinate,,,day and night when i was 23 years ( still virgin so there were no vaginal infections). The urine analysis and urineculture has always been sterile,,,and abdominal ultrasound always normal.
Avatar n tn Hi I was just wondering this only happens once and while and last a couple hours to a couple days. I have mid abdominal pain that radiates to my back but it stays there for a while constant but goes away after about an hour or longer then as soon as I go void again it starts to hurt but doe not start til after I have urinated? What can this be?
Avatar f tn Since doctors don't seem to want to help me figure out what's wrong, I'm trying to investigate my various symptoms to find potential diseases to rule out. For the past two and a half years, I've had a problem with frequent urination. No incontinence of any kind, but I tend to pee on average 12-20 times a day. Sometimes I'll be up one or two times at night, sometimes more and sometimes not at all. I DO drink quite a bit of fluid.
Avatar f tn Hi everyone, this is my first pregnancy and up until a week ago I was feeling rubbish, sick, moody, tired, sore breasts, and had abdominal pain. Now I only have abdominal pain and sore breasts, all the other symptoms have disappeared? I am sooo worried that it has gone wrong. It is really stressing me out. Has this happened to anyone else before?
