frequent-urination

Avatar n tn I am a 22 years old male from india. I am suffering from frequent (day time) urination (around 12 times in daytime only, don't wake up from sleep to urinate ) for the last 6 years. I generally have to urinate in small amounts,I feel that I am emptying my bladder everytime . My urine flow also is normal, I take little time to start urinating as the amount of urine is not much. there is no urinary leakage , i feel my pelvic floor muscles are strong enough.
Avatar f tn Since doctors don't seem to want to help me figure out what's wrong, I'm trying to investigate my various symptoms to find potential diseases to rule out. For the past two and a half years, I've had a problem with frequent urination. No incontinence of any kind, but I tend to pee on average 12-20 times a day. Sometimes I'll be up one or two times at night, sometimes more and sometimes not at all. I DO drink quite a bit of fluid.
Avatar n tn I also notice while taking this vitamin I experience lower back discomfort. Is there a vitamin (A,B,C,D-3, E) that is available on the market that I can take that would stop the frequent urination. I would also like to add I took Saw Palmetto with the Equate Multivitamin to prevent the frequent flow of urine but did not take it (Saw Palmetto) with the Nature Made product. Any assistance to this concern is appreciated. Thank you.
Avatar n tn I urinate a too often. And as I feel I lost natural urination speed. Sexual Problem- I had also been suffering from erectile dis function and quick ejacuation problem. Problem is, when a person feel sexual desire he should not feel urination in penis.
Avatar f tn Hi, Your symptoms may be suggestive of chronic ill health in the form of chronic fatigue syndrome, anaemia, deficiency of vitamins etc. Also for the pain in abdomen and frequent urination you should check out with a gynaecologist for an examination. If necessary and ultrasound scan may be done. Discuss with your Doctor. Hope this helps.
Avatar n tn About 2 yrs ago i had a burning sensation and other problems, i consulted a doctor and he found out i had a UTI, i took antibiotic Cipro and it improved considerably. After a short while i started having the urge to go to the bathroom a lot, most of the time only a little urine would come out. I had a check for kidney stones, there werent any. Ive seen a bunch of doctors, before my urine test used to have a little blood. Recently that has not been the case.

Avatar f tn I am a 40 year old woman with the problem of frequent urination. I do not have diabetes or UTI and my ultrasound scan is normal. I underwent a D&C procedure in December of 2007. My urologist thinks that I should see a psychiatrist. I have a bulky uterus. I was 200 lbs three years ago, now I am 125 lbs, (through diet and excercise). My gynec told me that I have over-exercised,(walking 14 km a day). I feel constant irritation and pressure in my bladder.
Avatar f tn I have never experienced incontinence and do not have a urinary tract infection. I went to a urologist a little while ago and they told me I was emptying my bladder all of the way but unfortunately that was the only test I really had done since I lost my health insurance. A few months later was diagnosed with a hypoactive thyroid and was put on synthroid but other than that I really have no other health issues.
721523 tn?1331581802 leprosy is surprising. One is a contagious but curable disease, caused by a bacteria, and most notable for its outwardly visible skin complications. The other is... none of the above. At a huge stretch, there is an immune system response component to both (granulomas with leprosy, scleroses with MS), but I fail to see how an entire population could get it so wrong! I would definitely speak up when people say things that are so very mistaken.
Avatar m tn If one had unprotected vaginal intercourse, what would be the soonest a person would begin to experience a frequent urge to urinate as a result of the common and lesser known std's?
Avatar m tn I ignored this for a month and it ended up being chlamydia. I too had a short unprotected encounter for 1 minute and I caught it.
Avatar f tn About 3 days later I started noticing a increase in my need to urinate (because of this I started drinking more water, to be sure not to get dehydrated, which of course lead to more frequent urination ) I also started feeling a slight pain towards the tip of my penis... Not during urination but just throughout the day, I never noticed any discharge, swelling, or abdominal pain... And the frequency at which I urinate has gone back to more of a regular amount..
Avatar m tn t drink a lot since i never get thirsty, a cup of tea in the morning and a glass of water for my blood pressure tablets. I'm not swollen but 2yrs ago i had a back op for a pinched nerve, could this be the cause? Please help!
Avatar f tn If there are stressful situations affecting him, try to make sure he has some relaxation time, or quiet time to spend with his family. After about 3 to 5 months, the frequent urination symptoms dissapeared for my son. I hope this helps. Take care.
Avatar m tn urinary tract infection, interstitial cystitis, intake of diuretics and other medications, radiation therapy or bladder dysfunction. It would really help if you consult with the urologist for further evaluation and management. Take care and keep us posted.
Avatar m tn Small cuts usually resolve spontaneously . Avoid wearing tight underpants and after urination or taking a bath just dab the area gently.Do not rub. Seek consult once you are back home. Do keep us posted .
Avatar n tn t get the urinal there fast enough. he had a stroke in 08 and is confined to a bed. he recently had a stay in the hospital where a foley catheter was used. he's had catherters before, so I don't know if there was damage done when it was taken out. he does NOT want to think of adult diapers as he is only 46 years old. please advise.
1380526 tn?1292839385 Not all will have bladder issues as a result of their chiari and it could be a related issue like tethered cord...so do get checked for both a bladder issue and TC. I went yrs and could not feel the urge to go, but instead got pain up my spine....just prior to surgery the urge feelings came back, but if I hold it, I get hot...so it is still a neuro issue and I do have TC as well as just a bladder issue from chiari.
Avatar m tn There are many things that can cause frequent urination and a urologist is the one to help you rule out what is causing your symptoms etc. You could just have an over active bladder and they have several medications for that. It also could be chronic cystitis or interstitial cystitis. With these you usually have pelvic pain too. The self help things etc. can help you while you see a diagnosis!
Avatar f tn A neurologic problem, hormonal disorders, pituitary gland problems, a urinary tract infection, increase intake of fluids and certain medications. Certain tests may need to be done to have these differentials excluded. A baseline urinalysis and urine culture, urodynamic studies, and CT scan of the kidney, ureter and bladder may help. I suggest a consult with a urologist to at least rule out an underlying urinary tract infection.
393893 tn?1283551230 Hi, Irritative urinary symptoms like increase in urinary frequency may suggest an underlying infection. I suggest that a urologic consult be made for a complete physical examination. A urinalysis will be able to help determine an underlying infection. A digital rectal examination (when the doctor palpates the prostate with his finger) may be able to assess if there is possible prostate involvement.
Avatar m tn I'm a 17 year old male. Backstory: Last Tuesday (dec 29th) I felt like I had to urinate frequently. I'd go, and possibly 5-10 minutes later I'd feel like I had to go again. Not a lot, mind you. I could even ignore the feeling for the most part, but it was there. I'd be going frequently for the next couple of days but in very little amounts. I went to the Doctor on last Thursday and last Monday and received a urine test both times and they both came out negative for everything.
Avatar n tn Hello, Without examination confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but urge of frequent urination can be due to increased intake of fluids or diabetes mellitus.Other possibilities are glomerulonephritis, pyelonephritis(inflammation of the kidneys),urinary tract infection, hypercalcemia, hypokalemia(low potassium),hyperthyroidism, hyperparathyroidism, diuretic drugs and benign hyperplasia of the prostate(in elderly males).
