Frequent urination that comes and goes

Common Questions and Answers about Frequent urination that comes and goes

frequent-urination

Ive had radiographies and echographies of my kidneys and bladder 2 days ago and nothing shows up tho I do seem to have some slight back pain but the doctor says it seems to be just stress or muscular. Ive noticed the urethritis comes after a few days of relief and then it goes away for a couple of days. What could it be?
I have a problem with frequent urination that comes and goes. I go to the doctor thinking I might have a UTI but I don't. This happened in Oct/Nov of 2007, March of this year and now I am having problems again. The problem comes and goes for a period of time. Sometimes a few weeks, sometimes a month, sometimes longer and then itgoes away. When I have it, I need pyridium, at least to sleep at night and sometimes during the day.
I don't think it is a bladder infection because there is no pain involved and when he feels like he has to go he goes it's not like he feels like he has to go and then nothing comes out. He asked me to post this question and see if maybe he should get his prostate checked?? Thank you in advance!
the tingling in my scrotum is an entirely separate symptom. i'll feel it mostly when lying down relaxing; it comes and goes, and lasts for a few seconds each time.
It feels like a really dull sharp pain or a kind of pressure pain. It comes and goes and usually lasts for 5-10 minutes at a time. I do not cringe in pain from it, but it is annoying.
This pain is not necessarily before or after urination. But this comes and goes. For instance, I was fine all day and really feeling pretty good and then in the evening, out of nowhere, it started. A burning itching sensation at the opening of the penis and an urge to urinate. While experiencing this the time of day does not seem to matter. I do not have blood in the urine or semen, no discharge, no fever and only a slight pain in the tactical which may be mental.
Hi, I'm a male 49 and for a while now i get Frequent and urgent urination! I will be fine for about 3 to 4 weeks and then i'll have to go about every 20 minutes ! So the first and 2nd night is tuff, i don't get much sleep....i'll get that urgent feeling within 20 to 30 of going to the bathroom......if i get up and start walking around the feeling goes away for a little while but this goes on for about 7 days and can't take it any longer......
I also have dizziness and frequent urination... been there and done that (unfortunately) for many years now. I can tell you that it is common --- at least for those of us who have CFS. I'm sure the same goes for people with fibro... I know the dizziness does. One suggestion that I can give you is to check out the Marshall Protocol. (google Marshall Protocol + success stories). It is a research protocol that I'm on and I am getting better. I can actually tolerate gluten now !
He visits the dentist regularly, brushes and gargles and everything else under the sun, but the odor still comes and goes. He is very self concious about the frequent urination. It is not until recently that I started thinking that maybe the two are related and maybe a symptom of diabetes? I always thought juvenile diabetes came on quickly and not slowly ( as he has been suffering the symptoms for an extended period of time.) He is quite physically fit and an athlete.
Also I have a burning sensation when I urinate and sometimes when I ejaculate and it kinda dribbles. My penile shaft has been in a heavy pain. It comes and goes, but definitely shows pain after I masturbate or have sex. I can't really describe it. Also it seems to get even worse when I'm sitting down. Specially after longer periods of time. I was going to go see a doctor but the problems receded for awhile.
I have also experienced this and never was found to have any issue. For me it comes and goes and its very uncomfortable and irritating. I take Azo available over the counter at any drug or grocery store and that gets rid of it for the time being.
I am so fed up of this problem reoccurring and I can't seem to find out why it comes and goes. Am I eating/drinking something that sets it off? It's driving me insane that I don't know! But once I have it, it will take months to go away!! Agh :( Have you got your problem sorted out yet? And if so, how???
it seems also that my frequent urination has appeased.
Hello, This has been happening for the past few months, and it comes and goes with varying frequency. Whenever I lay down, I feel the need to pee-no matter the time of day. This happens in the afternoon when watching TV, or at night right before bed. I usually go 2-3 times before I can fall asleep, although I've never woken up in the middle of the night to go. What could be causing this? Thank you for your help.
I did hit the bus and did damage to my cars front bumper and light. Since the accident I have had frequent urination, numbness in my face, lips, back of my head and neck, feet and just don't feel like myself. Any idea what the frequent urination can be from?
Just now, I woke up with bladder pressure, feeling as though I need to go, but didn't really. I have tested for uti, and it comes negative. and I am not pregnant...What is wrong with me?
I have not ever been this big other than when I am pregnant. I have pressure in my abdomen that comes and goes and the lower back pain that comes and goes. I am very tired and grouchy. I just don't feel like myself. I have three kids that I have to keep up with and It is just not working. I don't know what to do either. I feel like I am going crazy.
She does not c/o pain and when she goes there is always volume (its not like when I have had UTIs and feel like I REALLY have to go and then nothing comes out). She has always been a big drinker as a matter of fact I cannot seem to keep her from finishing off everyone's drinks in sight (even when they don't belong to our family-when we're in public she just picks up cups and drinks if I don't catch her first!
A week ago, I went to see my GP and he found my symptoms unusual for my age, and he did a urine test and a blood test, and called back saying that there was no bacteria or anything in my urine and that my kidneys were functioning properly, and he finally referred me to a urologist, who I will be seeing later this week. These are the symptoms that I am experiencing.
For the past two weeks I have Frequent Urination - 24hrs a day - Exactly every Two hours. After masturbation its even more frequent. My stream is strong. I have trouble starting urinating at night but not during the day. But once I start urinating the stream is very strong, and I urinate alot. Even though at night I dont seem to empty my bladder that well. This all comes EIGHT WEEKS after I had the Microwave treatment.(http://www.thermatrx.com) for the same problem.
going up to 10-15x a day and it's a full bladder, not just a few drops. I don't know why this comes and goes, I live a semi-stressful life but things have been good lately so I don't think it's my anxiety. I am taking Pumpkinseed Oil since Nov. '11 which was recommended to me for urinary issues (just plain pumpkinseed, no estrogen in it) ... I quit that for a few weeks and just started it back up today. Would OAB come and go? I have no other symptoms, no pain ...
The urine analysis and urineculture has always been sterile,,,and abdominal ultrasound always normal. The problem goes and comes,,,the last two years that i've been sexually active (with the same person, both STD clean) ive got twice medication for bacterial vaginosis and yeast. The urinary frequency and pain in the lower abdomen continues. The gynecological ultrasound shows everything is fine.
One thing I also should mention is that since I've had this frequent urination/urge issue, I've also had somewhat chronic constipation that comes and goes. My concerns are two-fold, and that somehow perhaps the problems with my bladder and with my bowels may be connected in some way. I notice also that when I apply pressure below my anus, the urge to urinate becomes stronger.
I've had burning urination for years- probably since around 12. It comes and goes from time to time. I also have a frequent urge to pee but when I pee a tiny amount comes out. After I urinate it burns severely. I'll have this for a day or two and then not have it for a few weeks. I also get some pains that feel like its coming from my bladder. The tests come back negative for a UTI and since I've had it for years I don't think it would be that. Please help.
It never goes away and is blanchable(goes away for a second if pressed on, then comes right back). Amidst this red patch are tiny red dots which are also blanchable. The entire area of this red patch is small-it covers the length of my urethra opening and goes outward about a 1/4 inch. The blanchable red dots become slightly raised. It's not itchy and doesn't hurt. No puss comes out of my urethral opening. What can be the cause(s) of all these problems?
I never ever feel faint, weak or anything physically wrong, i just feel it and it drives me nuts sometimes. Here is one thing that did help and it goes against all medical advice most get. I drink a cup of coffee in the evenings when i usually feel my heart act up. Has it help? yes. I heard a doctor on a news show that said that if your doctor tells you to stay away from coffee, to call him and he will set them straight. lol..
There are no visual bumps or rash. Also slight pain them comes and goes in between scrotum and anus. Very wierd and hard to describe. Bottom line, this is a nightmare, and It consumes my life.
