(I work the third shift) I have frequent urination, which awakens me, also. Last year, I had episodes where I felt weird after sitting for a long time, and then standing up. Upon standing, I felt as if I was going to lose consciousness. If I tilted my head back, it was worse! Got a strange sensation in the back of my head and neck. Sometimes my head feels like it is being squeezed. Well, after going to the ER, and three different doctors, not really anything was found.
Because the symptoms I usually have when I get a UTI are limited to pain during urination along with frequency, but I've never had the side pain. I also have a strange problem of not being able to hold it AT ALL. The feeling of having to urinate will come out of nowhere and two seconds later if I don't sit down, or urinate I'll have no control what so ever and I'll basically wet my pants. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
Frequent urination is a symptom of anxiety. However, I wouldn't just assume that is what it is. Have you spoken to your parents about this? I think you should go see your dr and get a physical just to rule out anything else. I also suggest that you speak to a therapist. I know that is a big step but they are there to help you. They can teach you coping skills and other techniques to help you overcome this. When it comes to anxiety there really is no remedy to fix it.
Hi Doc, I am a 40-yr male having Frequent urination - every half hour. The more frustrating issue is the sensation 24x7 in the penis. The penis seems to have some water in it and that has the sensation all the time. The urine urgency sensation that i can not hold anymore also comes in the penis. Prior to this, throughout my life, i always had urination sensation in my bladder where my bladder used to be full and i can not hold anymore.
Cheers, I have been dealing quite some time now with anterior distal vaginal pain and painful/urgent urination. The symptoms are not constant but seem to be getting more frequent. It seems to be triggered by heightened blood flow to the area, or clenching of pelvic muscles, among other things. I have seen a gynecologist with suggestions of interstitial cystitis (with absolutely no other symptoms) and recurrent UTI's all deemed negative upon testing.
sometimes i dont sleep all night and feel frequent urination please suggest some remedies

" I received oral sex, does this have anything to do with me urinating a lot?" Yes, see a doctor (an STD) specialist, mention to him/her about the oral sex, and frequent urination. You just had sex so it's way too early to tell whether you are pregnant or not. Frequent urination could be a sign of a bladder infection, especially when accompanied by the feeling of burning or pain. I think you're fine. Just take it easy.
I told them that I had frequent urination, no burning when peeing but a tingling feeling as I would come close to ending urination (I forgot to tell them I had a little blood in my urine) but I told them I had an off smell but no strong odor nor vaginal discharge. They asked if I have had unprotected sex, I said yes. They left and when they returned they said they found leukocytes in my urine and gave me a shot in the butt and prescribed me azithromycin.
Then I began to feel shaky, irritable, got fast heart beat and bowel movements as well as frequent urination. I slept for 4 hours. From there on I wore ear plugs and decided to take benadryl. First I took 2 pills for the week day each night. Then I would take it during the weekend as well if I woke up to use the restroom, it's like I needed it to go to sleep. Now it has no effect on me. So a friend to me to take melantonin sine I didn't want to take more than 2 pills of benadryl.

I am not sleeping ,I was diagnosed with insomnia a while ago and put on a sleep aid, but those days are over. I also have a bladder condition which causes frequent urination and bladder pain. Which is a double whammy and getting worse by the second. I already get up to pee so much, I don't know what I'm going to do as my baby grows and it doesn't help my sleep problem at all.
At the end of 7 days I still felt symptoms (Frequent urination, burning sensation with urination, pain in testicles, a 'twinging' pain in my urethra, an occasional 'leaking' sensation (but no noticeable discharge). The doc gave me doxy for 7 more days, which didn't help. I returned and this time he performed a swab (Ouch!) and gave me cipro (thought it might be a UTI). I was also given a rocencephalon shot.

Flushing out of bacteria by frequent urination also helps. I suggest you consult a gastroenterologist and look into the cause of constipation. Most likely it is because you do not eat healthy and drink plenty of fluids. Chronic constipation can be due to diabetes, hypothyroidism, colon disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, diverticular diseases, cancers, severe acidity etc. It can also be due to milk allergy and other food allergies. Hope this helps. Take care!
The most common symptoms of a prostate infection would be frequent urination (dysuria) with reduced urine output, pain during and after ejaculation, and pain in the lower abdomen and the groin. It could be caused by the prostate, although a prostate problem at age 29 is uncommon. (although slightly off the scope of this forum) Do you have numbness or pain throughout your legs? Consult your physician and see if it might be caused by irritation or pinch of your sciatic nerve.
