Avatar f tn I am a 40 year old woman with the problem of frequent urination. I do not have diabetes or UTI and my ultrasound scan is normal. I underwent a D&C procedure in December of 2007. My urologist thinks that I should see a psychiatrist. I have a bulky uterus. I was 200 lbs three years ago, now I am 125 lbs, (through diet and excercise). My gynec told me that I have over-exercised,(walking 14 km a day). I feel constant irritation and pressure in my bladder.
Avatar f tn Im curious about this. Is frequent urination at 37 weeks normal?
1380526 tn?1292839385 I chalk it up to increased pressure means less fluid draining through kidneys and than pressure is released and all that fluid is flushed at once. Do u notice any changes when u have bad days too? Also is ur urine darker at times and clear on the frequent days? This could fit my theroy. Just be careful not to dehydrate yourself to prevent the constant BR trips. Too often people stop drinking enough to compinsate and that isn't good either What a pain in the neck this is.
60890 tn?1366358119 As the pregnancy advances frequent urination due to pressure of uterus on bladder is common. Some hormonal chances can also lead to sore ness in breast as they are getting prepared for lactation.

Avatar f tn I am 25 and recently, i started experiencing frequent urination. I had side pain for a day so i got urine test done and it came out normal. The doctor still prescribed me antibiotic (Enoxabid) for UTI but it did not improve my condition. Now i continue experiencing frequent urination. Every 1.5 to 2 hours, i feel the urge to urinate and since the last 2-3 days i am also experiencing slight burning in the vagina.
4322328 tn?1353998038 t at all with my previous pregnancy til the last trimester, this pregnancy it was one of my first symptoms, so it varies. Usually the last trimester or end of the 2nd is when your uterus really starts weighing on your bladder.
Avatar m tn I suffer from frequent urination between 2am and 6 in the morning. This happens every half hour, lots of urine, no burning, no pain.I have had blood tests, cystoscopy and an IVP done, all came back negative. I don;t drink a lot since i never get thirsty, a cup of tea in the morning and a glass of water for my blood pressure tablets. I'm not swollen but 2yrs ago i had a back op for a pinched nerve, could this be the cause? Please help!
Avatar f tn Semen had slipped and then i started to show some signs of pregnancy - frequent urination (hourly), tingly/sore breasts, i felt nauseous now and then but nothing too bad and I also felt this pressure type of feeling on both sides of my belly button... it was stronger on the right side though... then I didn't get my period... 4days later i started to pass clots and I had light bleeding.. I used about 1pad a day for 7days... So I thought I obviously wouldn't be pregnant..
Avatar m tn I have had significant bladder pressure and frequent urination for about 6 wks. I've had so many UTI's that I was sure that was it and tried flushing it out with tons of water and cranberry juice. With no relief I finally went to my dr to have my urine checked, they said it looked fine, but still gave me an antibiotic of which I didn't take because there was no need. 1wk later i went back to have it checked again, still negative.
Avatar n tn Frequent urination is common in pregnancy. But it can also be a urinary tract infection esp if there is pain.
18524847 tn?1465595901 So, thoughts on this involve the different phases of pregnancy. More frequent urination takes place in EARLY pregnancy because of a couple of reasons. First, the hormones of pregnancy themselves namely HCG. But second, you are pumping more blood to the abdominal area and this affects the kidneys which will have more urine output. For many women it is the very first sign of pregnancy (as it is often really subtle, early pregnancy symptoms).
Avatar f tn Some women get frequent urination and some don't early in pregnancy. :>) You are fine. The frequent urination is caused in later pregnancy due to the weight of the baby pushing on the bladder. I'm sure you'll have this at some point. Ugh, we all do.
1530658 tn?1299766324 I O'd on CD18 today is CD22 and I swear I have bladder pressure and frequent urination, almost feels like a bladder infection but that awful sensation when you pee isn't there (thank god), its like a dull pressure. Also I am not sleeping well for the past couple of nights. Could it be that I want to be preggers so bad that I am manifesting symptoms or could these really be indicators?
