I am a 40 year old woman with the problem of frequent urination. I do not have diabetes or UTI and my ultrasound scan is normal. I underwent a D&C procedure in December of 2007. My urologist thinks that I should see a psychiatrist. I have a bulky uterus. I was 200 lbs three years ago, now I am 125 lbs, (through diet and excercise). My gynec told me that I have over-exercised,(walking 14 km a day). I feel constant irritation and pressure in my bladder.

At about 6 weeks Is it normal for frequent urination vary day to day some days or times of the day im weeing like mad other days not so much . Some days i even wonder am i still pregnant cause the lack of symtoms ! Help.

Also is ur urine darker at times and clear on the frequent days? This could fit my theroy. Just be careful not to dehydrate yourself to prevent the constant BR trips. About 3 days later I started noticing a increase in my need to urinate (because of this I started drinking more water, to be sure not to get dehydrated, which of course lead to more frequent urination ) I also started feeling a slight pain towards the tip of my penis... Not during urination but just throughout the day, I never noticed any discharge, swelling, or abdominal pain... And the frequency at which I urinate has gone back to more of a regular amount..

urinary tract infection, interstitial cystitis, intake of diuretics and other medications, radiation therapy or bladder dysfunction. It would really help if you consult with the urologist for further evaluation and management. Take care and keep us posted.

Symptoms do not come on the next day and frequent urination is usually not a stand alone symptom and frequent means like every 10-15 minutes. If worried wait 1 week from the encounter and get tested for gonorrhea, but overall I see no need to do so.
