frequent-urination

Avatar m tn 2 days really nothing. The frequent urination is not because of std just after 2 days.
Avatar n tn The iCA just recently put out a new brochure on IC and Men since this is often misdiagnosed in men. We actually have an IC support network on this forum as well: You might want to consider a referral to a pelvic pain PT. They are often able to rule out and pelvic issues, muscular etc. that doctor's are not trained to look for. http://www.medhelp.
Avatar f tn My 18 year old son is having similiar problems. Started 3 months ago. Worse during the day (when sitting). His urinalysis (4 of them) comes back clear with no infection. He's had an ultra-sound that also came back fine. He's gone to two urologist (we didn't like the first one) and both called it Dysuria Frequent Urgency. The second doctor put him on an anti-biotic (sulfameth) just in case there was a slight infection not showing up in test.
Avatar f tn About 3 days later I started noticing a increase in my need to urinate (because of this I started drinking more water, to be sure not to get dehydrated, which of course lead to more frequent urination ) I also started feeling a slight pain towards the tip of my penis... Not during urination but just throughout the day, I never noticed any discharge, swelling, or abdominal pain... And the frequency at which I urinate has gone back to more of a regular amount..
Avatar f tn Urinary tract (which consists of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and the urethra) infections are very common in young women. Symptoms of UTI are frequent urination, burning sensation during urination, passing of blood in urine and even fever. The most common causes of repeated UTIs are kidney stones and diabetes mellitus. Women who are sexually active, who use diaphragms for birth control, and/or are past menopause are at an increased risk for urinary tract infections.
Avatar m tn Hello, Such kind of tear can be due to urethral fistula which although is mainly found in women but can be found in men also. Fistulas in men can be associated with some of the same predisposing factors as in women, such as a history of recent abdominal or pelvic surgery, urologic procedures, trauma, and inflammatory bowel disease. I suggest you to get it examined from a urologist and get a urethrogram done to confirm the diagnosis. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Avatar f tn Is it possible to just have frequent urination? I have a more frequent urge to go. When I do go a fair amount comes out. Slight tingle or burning on the ride side of the head and genital area but no pain. And no discharge or pain when I do.
Avatar m tn thanks - that is helpful. I am experiencing prostate inflammation, that is not responding to antibiotics (cipro, now on doxy). My female partner has no signs other than some frequent urination. I was screened for all other std's, all negative. The symptoms I have mirror bladder infection as well. waiting on urine culture - but dip test was all neg. Any other thoughts?
Avatar m tn The 3rd day I developed a pain on the underside of the head of my penis and around the edges of my head with frequent urination at times the pain felt more like chaffing then burning. The pain was always there not just when I urinated. I got a chlymedia and Gonnerhea urine test the next day. Both came back negative. I thought the pain would go away because I was just stressed. I kept on checking my penis for cases of injuries or symptoms of herpes. I thought for sure I got herpes.
Avatar m tn Benign prostate enlargement is common in older men, yes it does lead to more frequent urination but has nothing to do with there being a cancerous condition (prostates just get larger with age and can start being a nuisance when they press on nerves).

Avatar f tn I already know I have Herpes 2, but am not back in the US so I can get on medication. I have frequent nighttime urination which is caused by the Herpes 2 ( i had done a bacteria urine test and it was negative) . I just wondered, when I get on Valtrex will it take care of the frequent urination at night or do I need to get other medication for that? Anyone out there ever experience it. I think a lot of persons come here for support, not just because they are worried they might be infected.
Avatar f tn My symptoms were Severely painful periods rectal pain Pain during sex Pain after sex Pain during climaxing migraines Nausea Severe cramping and abdominal pain constipation frequent urination After I had my daughter I am almost positive it got 100x worse.
Avatar m tn As I said avove, there was NO STD risk from the event describe -- none, zero, nada, zilch, nichevo. Got it? That means there is no information you can provide that will change my opinion or advice. Of course you cannot catch NGU through a condom, and NGU doesn't cause the symptoms you describe; it's clearly your "mind working overtime". Frequent urination may sometimes be an STD symptom in women, but rarely if ever in men.
Avatar m tn since that week i had frequent urination, also feel like you have to urinate often but not much urine comes out ,stomach cramping, no burning, cloudiness, or pain, urine stuck in urethra feeling and the feeling of never emptying of my bladder. These symptoms were severe for over a month. Now my only symptom, yes even 5 months later is that i have frequent urination and after uriniation this irritation that i still have to go that subsides after a while.
Avatar f tn Since doctors don't seem to want to help me figure out what's wrong, I'm trying to investigate my various symptoms to find potential diseases to rule out. For the past two and a half years, I've had a problem with frequent urination. No incontinence of any kind, but I tend to pee on average 12-20 times a day. Sometimes I'll be up one or two times at night, sometimes more and sometimes not at all. I DO drink quite a bit of fluid.
Avatar f tn Polyuria or frequent urination may be caused by other medical conditions especially diabetes mellitus. Try checking your blood sugar to rule out the condition. Since Candida may be present in the normal vagina and yeast infections can occur in celibate women, it is not considered to be a typical sexually transmitted infection (STD).
Avatar f tn Some women get frequent urination and some don't early in pregnancy. :>) You are fine. The frequent urination is caused in later pregnancy due to the weight of the baby pushing on the bladder. I'm sure you'll have this at some point. Ugh, we all do.
18524847 tn?1465595901 So, thoughts on this involve the different phases of pregnancy. More frequent urination takes place in EARLY pregnancy because of a couple of reasons. First, the hormones of pregnancy themselves namely HCG. But second, you are pumping more blood to the abdominal area and this affects the kidneys which will have more urine output. For many women it is the very first sign of pregnancy (as it is often really subtle, early pregnancy symptoms).
Avatar f tn I am 28 years old, female. I noticed two months ago frequent urination and the very strong urge to use the bathroom almost every 20 minutes.Especialy while I was walking and a slight back pain. I did urine anaylisis which came out clear and a cultivation which came out clear as well (though the urine was quite thin, maybe due to the large amount of liquids I was consuming). I runned some gynecological tests and they came up clear (only a candinda bacterical).
649848 tn?1534633700 IC/PBS is more common in women than in men. An estimated 3.3 million U.S. women, or 2.7 percent, who are 18 years of age or older have pelvic pain and other symptoms, such as urinary urgency or frequency, that are associated with IC/PBS.1 An estimated 1.6 million U.S. men, or 1.3 percent, who are 30 to 79 years old have persistent symptoms, such as pain with bladder filling or pain relieved by bladder emptying, that are associated with PBS.2 What causes IC/PBS?
Avatar f tn There are tests for trch that can now be done on both men and women. Hologic/GenProbe makes a test that can be performed on urine from men r vaginal swabs from women which are very accurate. Although rare, a small proportion of trich are resistant to metronidazole and tinidazole and it would be good to close this loop, making sure that the treatment you both took worked. 3.
