My 18 year old son is having similiar problems. Started 3 months ago. Worse during the day (when sitting). His urinalysis (4 of them) comes back clear with no infection. He's had an ultra-sound that also came back fine. He's gone to two urologist (we didn't like the first one) and both called it Dysuria Frequent Urgency. The second doctor put him on an anti-biotic (sulfameth) just in case there was a slight infection not showing up in test.

About 3 days later I started noticing a increase in my need to urinate (because of this I started drinking more water, to be sure not to get dehydrated, which of course lead to more frequent urination ) I also started feeling a slight pain towards the tip of my penis... Not during urination but just throughout the day, I never noticed any discharge, swelling, or abdominal pain... And the frequency at which I urinate has gone back to more of a regular amount..

Benign prostate enlargement is common in older men, yes it does lead to more frequent urination but has nothing to do with there being a cancerous condition (prostates just get larger with age and can start being a nuisance when they press on nerves).

I already know I have Herpes 2, but am not back in the US so I can get on medication. s. My only symptoms at this time was frequent urination and penile discomfort (on/off), no discharge. I had to wait to see my urologist so in the mean time I took Cipro I had on hand that my urologist gave to me incase I had any flare ups. I have been having very annoying bouts of frequent urination. I go to the bathroom alot during the day, but at night, it's every few minutes. It's so bad I only get about 3-4 hours of sleep every night. And, even after I go, I feel like I still have to go. At first I just had to go to the bathroom alot. Also when i went to the urologist he put me on an antibiotic for a week which i saw no results from. He also put me on a medicine to help with frequent urination but it only made it physically hard to go i still had the feeling i needed to go. Thanks for the responses.

i had unprotected sex on 1st sep and today i had some weird sensation on urination i think it wasnt abnormal cause i sometimes get this when i have to pee for a long time because the urine becomes too warm but i wanted to ask if you get an std will you have pain on urination every time you pee? or most of the times and how long does it take for symtoms to begin.

Is it possible to just have frequent urination? I have a more frequent urge to go. When I do go a fair amount comes out. Slight tingle or burning on the ride side of the head and genital area but no pain. And no discharge or pain when I do.

I didn't really experience frequent urination during my first trimester...but am having it in my second trimester..am 15 weeks 5 days..anyone else with the same issue.could this be normal?
