Avatar f tn My 18 year old son is having similiar problems. Started 3 months ago. Worse during the day (when sitting). His urinalysis (4 of them) comes back clear with no infection. He's had an ultra-sound that also came back fine. He's gone to two urologist (we didn't like the first one) and both called it Dysuria Frequent Urgency. The second doctor put him on an anti-biotic (sulfameth) just in case there was a slight infection not showing up in test.
Avatar n tn The iCA just recently put out a new brochure on IC and Men since this is often misdiagnosed in men. We actually have an IC support network on this forum as well: You might want to consider a referral to a pelvic pain PT. They are often able to rule out and pelvic issues, muscular etc. that doctor's are not trained to look for. http://www.medhelp.
Avatar m tn 2 days really nothing. The frequent urination is not because of std just after 2 days.
Avatar f tn frequent urination at night isn't a sign of herpes infection. You need to continue to follow up with your provider for this. It could be many things from too much caffeine/sugar consumption during your waking hours, nerves, infection or even something like diabetes. Stop assuming that everything in your body means herpes and continue to look for other causes with your provider.
Avatar m tn Benign prostate enlargement is common in older men, yes it does lead to more frequent urination but has nothing to do with there being a cancerous condition (prostates just get larger with age and can start being a nuisance when they press on nerves).
Avatar f tn I am 30 yr old male . I have frequent urination since 2 months. KUB, urine analysis, urine culture and diabtic tests have been done. No infections were found. I had white discharge thrice in this two months. And burning sensation after ejaculation. The problem gets worst once ejaculated.some times urine passes as two streams. One with thinnner stream and other as a drops.(not always this stream).
Avatar m tn s the infection leading to frequent urination here??), etc.).
Avatar f tn About 3 days later I started noticing a increase in my need to urinate (because of this I started drinking more water, to be sure not to get dehydrated, which of course lead to more frequent urination ) I also started feeling a slight pain towards the tip of my penis... Not during urination but just throughout the day, I never noticed any discharge, swelling, or abdominal pain... And the frequency at which I urinate has gone back to more of a regular amount..
Avatar f tn Since the last 5 days, i have been experiencing frequent urination. After i pass urine, i feel the urge to pass urine again after half hour or hour. Initially, there was slight burning when passing urine but not anymore. I got urine test done but it shows no infection. One month ago, i got digestive problems and acidity and doctor gave me Zantac for that and i was fine within a week. Now ocassionally, i experience acidity and burning in stomach so i avoid fried foods.
Avatar f tn A neurologic problem, hormonal disorders, pituitary gland problems, a urinary tract infection, increase intake of fluids and certain medications. Certain tests may need to be done to have these differentials excluded. A baseline urinalysis and urine culture, urodynamic studies, and CT scan of the kidney, ureter and bladder may help. I suggest a consult with a urologist to at least rule out an underlying urinary tract infection.
Avatar m tn urinary tract infection, interstitial cystitis, intake of diuretics and other medications, radiation therapy or bladder dysfunction. It would really help if you consult with the urologist for further evaluation and management. Take care and keep us posted.
Avatar n tn Hello, Urinary tract infection can cause frequent bed wetting. It is mostly bacterial in nature. The resulting bladder irritation can cause pain or irritation with urination (dysuria), a stronger urge to urinate (urgency), and frequent urination (frequency). I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Avatar m tn urinary tract infection or kidney infection dont let it go it rears it ugly head and you will be sorry if you dont take care of it
Avatar m tn s said that delay in treating UTI can lead to Kidney infection. Delay means how much delay . How quickly does the infection spread ? I in my general routine many a times have urinary frequency increased, which settles down itself after 3-4 days, but can't go for a checkup everytime. Can I have any test to ascertain the reason for this.
Avatar f tn I follow his prescription s but do not find any improvements. The rate of frequent urination is after every 1.5 hour. I have already done my ultrasound and urine infection test .
Avatar m tn Kidney stones could also cause pain and frequent urination. A simple urine test at the doctors will tell you whats up and if an infection should only take an antibiotic to clear up. Waiting to long may only make it worse.
Avatar f tn I have notice frequent urination durring the day. not at night when i'm sleep. I also feel a small, small pain,it almost feels like it burns at times. on my left side. How concern should i be and what should i do.
Avatar f tn I am 25 and recently, i started experiencing frequent urination. I had side pain for a day so i got urine test done and it came out normal. The doctor still prescribed me antibiotic (Enoxabid) for UTI but it did not improve my condition. Now i continue experiencing frequent urination. Every 1.5 to 2 hours, i feel the urge to urinate and since the last 2-3 days i am also experiencing slight burning in the vagina.
Avatar m tn t go along with any STD. Frequent urination is NOT a symptom of gonorrhea or other urethral infection -- but is related to overactivity of the bladder, which is an extremely common issue in people with anxiety over a sexual encounter they regret. On top of all that, amoxicillin would have prevented most gonorrhea (as well as chlamydial infection) -- it's not a recommended treatment, but would effectively prevent most infections if taken before (or soon after) exposure.
Avatar m tn thanks - that is helpful. I am experiencing prostate inflammation, that is not responding to antibiotics (cipro, now on doxy). My female partner has no signs other than some frequent urination. I was screened for all other std's, all negative. The symptoms I have mirror bladder infection as well. waiting on urine culture - but dip test was all neg. Any other thoughts?
