A neurologic problem, hormonal disorders, pituitary gland problems, a urinary tract infection, increase intake of fluids and certain medications. Certain tests may need to be done to have these differentials excluded. A baseline urinalysis and urine culture, urodynamic studies, and CT scan of the kidney, ureter and bladder may help. I suggest a consult with a urologist to at least rule out an underlying urinary tract infection.

Your symptoms are similar to what my daughter experiences when she has a low blood sugar, but those do not happen with undiagnosed diabetics who are not on insulin. I would recommend that you see your doctor or, even better, an endocrinologist. You may have hypoglycemia, which is often pretty mild and not hard to deal with. But again, I'm not a doc!

can anybody tell me the symptoms of diabetese is head aches, being light headed fatigued, muscleaches, flu like symptoms tingling in the skin can they be signs

Since doctors don't seem to want to help me figure out what's wrong, I'm trying to investigate my various symptoms to find potential diseases to rule out. For the past two and a half years, I've had a problem with frequent urination. No incontinence of any kind, but I tend to pee on average 12-20 times a day. Sometimes I'll be up one or two times at night, sometimes more and sometimes not at all. I DO drink quite a bit of fluid.

How far along are you? I know low iron can cause you to get light headed. Also I think maybe low blood pressure can have that result too but not positive.

I have been getting dizzy before I would fall asleep at night. That would happen once a month at best for the last 4 years, thought nothing of it.
