frequent-urination

Avatar f tn Hello, Urinary tract (which consists of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and the urethra) infections are very common in young women. Symptoms of UTI are frequent urination, burning sensation during urination, passing of blood in urine and even fever. To diagnose a UTI please get a complete urine examination and urine culture done. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
Avatar f tn My symptoms were Severely painful periods rectal pain Pain during sex Pain after sex Pain during climaxing migraines Nausea Severe cramping and abdominal pain constipation frequent urination After I had my daughter I am almost positive it got 100x worse.
Avatar f tn I had the worst excessive urination from low potassium. I lived in the toilet and was getting splits on my skin down there from constantly using toilet paper. I was using Savlon cream to relieve the pain. The relief of orange juice! High in potassium. Went from excessive urination to normal OVERNIGHT! Low potassium causes dry skin too btw.
Avatar f tn Urinary tract (which consists of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and the urethra) infections are very common in young women. Symptoms of UTI are frequent urination, burning sensation during urination, passing of blood in urine and even fever. The most common causes of repeated UTIs are kidney stones and diabetes mellitus. Women who are sexually active, who use diaphragms for birth control, and/or are past menopause are at an increased risk for urinary tract infections.
Avatar n tn Pregnancy is only one, and frequent urination in pregnancy is due to having an increased blood volume as well as baby pushing on your bladder.
Avatar n tn Hello, Without examination confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but urge of frequent urination can be due to increased intake of fluids or diabetes mellitus.Other possibilities are glomerulonephritis, pyelonephritis(inflammation of the kidneys),urinary tract infection, hypercalcemia, hypokalemia(low potassium),hyperthyroidism, hyperparathyroidism, diuretic drugs and benign hyperplasia of the prostate(in elderly males).
Avatar n tn there is nothing in your story that suggests an STD problem. Pain in both testicles, or pain without swelling or tenderness, usually isn't epididymitis or any STD; and epididymits pain doesn't come and go. Without tenderness or swelling, prostate problems are the most common causes of vague or diffuse testicular pain.
1380526 tn?1292839385 Another thing I have noticed lately is that I have to urinate much more than I ever did! I could go all night without having to get up...I could play 18 holes of golf, and while everyone was hitting the bathrooms on the course...I was "cool, calm and collected". Now, I'm up 3-4 times a night...and gong twice as much during the day than I ever did before. I have read articles that this can be related to the Chiari....Nothing else has changed...
Avatar f tn Since doctors don't seem to want to help me figure out what's wrong, I'm trying to investigate my various symptoms to find potential diseases to rule out. For the past two and a half years, I've had a problem with frequent urination. No incontinence of any kind, but I tend to pee on average 12-20 times a day. Sometimes I'll be up one or two times at night, sometimes more and sometimes not at all. I DO drink quite a bit of fluid.
Avatar m tn Since morning I am feeling OK , but there is little pressure in the groin area. Having some discomfort (not pain) around the rectum also.

Avatar f tn I am a 40 year old woman with the problem of frequent urination. I do not have diabetes or UTI and my ultrasound scan is normal. I underwent a D&C procedure in December of 2007. My urologist thinks that I should see a psychiatrist. I have a bulky uterus. I was 200 lbs three years ago, now I am 125 lbs, (through diet and excercise). My gynec told me that I have over-exercised,(walking 14 km a day). I feel constant irritation and pressure in my bladder.
Avatar f tn About 3 days later I started noticing a increase in my need to urinate (because of this I started drinking more water, to be sure not to get dehydrated, which of course lead to more frequent urination ) I also started feeling a slight pain towards the tip of my penis... Not during urination but just throughout the day, I never noticed any discharge, swelling, or abdominal pain... And the frequency at which I urinate has gone back to more of a regular amount..
10741432 tn?1420041538 At about 6 weeks Is it normal for frequent urination vary day to day some days or times of the day im weeing like mad other days not so much . Some days i even wonder am i still pregnant cause the lack of symtoms ! Help.
Avatar n tn About a month ago I started to develop some pain in my left testicle. I went to see my family doctor and he ordered an ultrasound which came back normal. He put me on antibiotics (cipro) for 10days saying I had epididmytis. For the most part the pain has went away, with some minor pain on occassion. After taking the anti-biotics (about 2 weeks ago now) I had a few days of lots of self enduced stress because I started thinking about some problems I had in college.
Avatar m tn I should mention during the nights: as long as I'm asleep, I'm not waking up to urinate. During the first few nights of my problem I have basically been having trouble sleeping only because I couldn't get to sleep because of my need to urinate, but when I do actually fall asleep I rarely wake up to go to the bathroom. (I think I have woken up maybe three times all of this week during my sleep to use the bathroom).
Avatar m tn There are many things that can cause frequent urination. Do you have pain with your frequency? I have Interstitial cystitis an inflammatory bladder disease. This can cause frequency but also has pain. However for us, foods can effect our symptoms. I suggest you watch acidic foods, avoid coffee, alcohol, soda, caffeine, chocolate, cranberries etc. I can give you some food lists for those of us with bladder issues if you pm me, but those are the big ones. Hope that helps!
Avatar m tn its just these random symptoms that keep messing with my mind i would love nothing more to stop thinking about it since i am in a committed relationship. But the frequent urination, head dizziness, anal itching, neck and back pain, keeps leading me to believe i picked up something from getting a **.
Avatar f tn Sometimes the urine amount looks normal but most of the time its dribbling. I frequent twice in half an hour when it dribbles. There is no blood in the urine. Most of the time it is accompanied by pain and the sensation is there even after urinating. I did not have this problem ever, I drink 8 glasses of water every day. It started about 3 months ago, then stopped for a good 2 months and now I notice the problem again.
Avatar m tn The one STD which might be associated with urinary frequency is non-gonococcal urethritis, which is diagnosed by demonstration of increased numbers of white blood cells in a urine specimen collected at the beginning of urination or in a urethral swab from the penis. In both cases you should not have urinated for at least an hour before your specimen is collected. You could have this done at your local STD clinic for little if any cost.
Avatar n tn A cystoscopy can always be done to look for any local causes for the same. An infection in the prostate could be a culprit in the same. Hence, a rectal examination can also help in picking up the chronic prostatitis which can give rise to the symptoms which you’ve mentioned. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
