Avatar f tn It just happened suddenly as he had to get up in the night several times and still today having to urinate frequently and also complains of feeling light headed.
Avatar f tn Normal unfortunately. It eases up in the second trimester, then you go back to peeing more in your third!
Avatar n tn He does not have to get up during the night to go and has not had an accident in bed. He does seem to drink more often and often drinks diet colas. I have not noticed anything else abnormal.
Avatar n tn Problem is hit or miss sometimes the same as my c5-c6 disk protrusion symptoms. My neurologist said the Urination problem can not be related to the disk problem. Is this true or may I have also damaged a nother part of my neck that may cause to this. Note I never had this problem until after my accident. I also got diagnosed with Occipittal Neuralgia from the hard hit and whiplash when I got up from the floor and struck a metal object broadside in back of my neck.
Avatar f tn I had the worst excessive urination from low potassium. I lived in the toilet and was getting splits on my skin down there from constantly using toilet paper. I was using Savlon cream to relieve the pain. The relief of orange juice! High in potassium. Went from excessive urination to normal OVERNIGHT! Low potassium causes dry skin too btw.
Avatar m tn ) but I have IBD and when its bad I have in the past got bad pains in my sides at the back and going to the loo more in the day, I was tested several times for UTIs and they thought it was that and i was put on 4 different courses of antibitoics but they never bothered to check the lab results for the urine sample which always came back clear with nothing to culture. Iv just been put back on steroids for IBD, but i dont know why i have these urinary symptoms with it?
Avatar f tn Every woman is different. I never got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom until about 29 weeks, but even then I only get up once and then once when I wake up for the day. Some women wake up 5+ times.
Avatar m tn OAB (Over active bladder) is a real pain in the rear. In particular if your having to wake up to urinate all night. If the obvious health issues are ruled out there are a variety of drugs that may help. If that doesn't work you might inquire about a new treatment I have tried. Its botox injections into the bladder. It helps me for about 6 or more months in a row (Some it works up to a year) I just have a regular date where I go into have it done.
Avatar m tn but what could be causing the frequent urination? I only take fish oil and multivitamins. Medical history that I have is cervical stenosis also have herniated discs in the back as well. I am a drinker but have been sober for the past month.
Avatar f tn It's normal in the first trimester because of the increased hormone labels and blood flow, it'll taper off in the second trimester and pick up again in the third when baby gets big.
Avatar n tn After the surgery my doctor told me that my uterus was stuck to my bladder. Since then I have been having frequent urination. Sometimes 15 times a day and atleast 4 to 5 times a night. What can I do?

1380526 tn?1292839385 I also have bladder issues as well, in fact I have had 2 uti's and bladder infections from having to go so much in the last year. I am exhausted from having to go so much. I'm up all night long in and out of the restroom. I'd really like a bed pan. As soon as I stand up, I have the urge again. I am starting to think it is Chiari related. I actually had ultrasounds done to have a look at my bladder and all is fine.
Avatar f tn Hi! I am having the exact same problem. I had a yeast infection, which is normal.. I was taking antibiotics at the time and the doctor said that can cause them. So I used monistat and it cleared up. I then had sex, and now I feel like I have to pee ALL the time. Even when there is nothing to let out. I knew it wasn't a UTI because I've had several in the past but the doctor insisted on taking the test. It was negative.
Avatar f tn In a half hour I've used the bathroom like 3 times w/o drinking or eating anything. Im only 18 weeks. Isn't it a little early to have to use the bathroom so much? I think that I may have a yeast infection && maybe that could be the reason im using the bathroom so much. Is this normal?
Avatar n tn For the past month, I have nights in which I urinate once or twice every hour. The urine is mostly light yellow and at times clear. If I fall asleep right away, I can sleep 6-8 hours without getting up to urinate. But if I'm having a difficult time falling asleep, I would get up once or twice to urinate every hour. I drink a small cup of water 3-4 hours before bedtime and urinate before getting into bed. I'm not diabetic, I'm a 24 yr old female.
Avatar f tn Thanks! Yeah I need to be more careful at night for sure. .. you're lucky you're so close to the bathroom at work mine is kinda far :/ thanks for the advice though I will be trying it!!
Avatar f tn I'm 33 weeks and having the same problem. Lol its the pressure of our babies pushing on our bladders. I'm up 3-4 times during the night now to make a bathroom trip.
721523 tn?1331581802 The tspine showed a possible lesion, so the urologist sent me to the neurologist, who has now diagnosed the MS. The urination issue, by the way, is the only symptom I have associated with MS. What I'm getting at, is the neurologist has referred me to a pain specialist who implants neurostimulators for bladder retention and frequency. She says her MS patients that have gotten this neurostimulator claim a world of difference.
Avatar f tn And the discoloration stopped a day or two in... After comepleting the antibiotics I still had the uncomfortable sensation in my penis...I couldn't decided it it was just anxiety or something not cured with amoxicillin ( I know it's not the most effective against STIs) so 5 days after completing I went and got tested urine and blood samples were taken... Chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis , herpes , HIV, and Hepatitis.... And everything came back negative...
Avatar n tn If it is really a change for you, it is best to see your doctor as there are a variety of health reasons that cause frequent urination. I found that I was having frequent urination at night and had to limit liquid intake after a certain hour and that certain things cause me to have to go more such as iced tea. ?? Have no idea why but that seems to come straight back out. talk to your doctor if you are having this symptom.
Avatar m tn I urinate in the middle of the night, and when I get up in the morning I will go to the bathroom sometimes 2-3 times an hour. This continues throughout the day. There is no burning or urge its just that I have a full bladder constantly. I am not thirsty but I have to drink water to keep up with my unrinating or I will get dehydrated.
Avatar m tn There are many things that can cause frequent urination and a urologist is the one to help you rule out what is causing your symptoms etc. You could just have an over active bladder and they have several medications for that. It also could be chronic cystitis or interstitial cystitis. With these you usually have pelvic pain too. The self help things etc. can help you while you see a diagnosis!
