but what could be causing the frequent urination? I only take fish oil and multivitamins. Medical history that I have is cervical stenosis also have herniated discs in the back as well. I am a drinker but have been sober for the past month.

I know that frequent urination is a sign of diabetes so I am concerned. Are there any other signs of diabetes I should look for? Any other possible explanations? I would love to put my mind at ease.

Ok so 3 occasions in the past few weeks I have seen a large piece of what looks like white/clear shreds of paper tissue in the toilet. I am sure it is not toilet paper. I do currently have a UTI w/ frequent urination and pressure on the bladder. I'm not sure if the tissue is in urine or is from somewhere else. What could this be? I am very worried. 28yo female.

s. My only symptoms at this time was frequent urination and penile discomfort (on/off), no discharge. I had to wait to see my urologist so in the mean time I took Cipro I had on hand that my urologist gave to me incase I had any flare ups. That helped immensely but by the 10th day I experienced some horrible side effects and stopped.

I have been having very annoying bouts of frequent urination. I go to the bathroom alot during the day, but at night, it's every few minutes. It's so bad I only get about 3-4 hours of sleep every night. And, even after I go, I feel like I still have to go. At first I just had to go to the bathroom alot. Go see a doctor and get tested. Frequent urination is one sign of type 2 diabetes. It also could be a sign of a disease you do not feel until more severe such as bladder or urinary tract infection, an enlarged prostrate if male, vaginitis if female, or possibly a tumor. Had ultrasound that was clear no further follow up. Having frequent urination current urine tests still shows 3.3 (not sure what this means) microscopic hematuria. No infection. Do you think this frequent urination could be related to my neck. I had ACDF surgery on 08/07 and they found 2 ruptured discs and a bulging one. They removed 2 discs and placed a plate and screws. However I was having these symptoms prior to this injury. THey did find a bad disc on L5-S1. On the MRI report it said a small posterior central annular fissure L5-S1 with small subligamentous disc protrusion. Would this disc be causing the frequent urination?
