but what could be causing the frequent urination? I only take fish oil and multivitamins. Medical history that I have is cervical stenosis also have herniated discs in the back as well. I am a drinker but have been sober for the past month.

It's estimated that more than 20% of dogs in the US have arthritis. You might call your veterinarian and ask about safe and approved arthritis medications for dogs. A good exam should also be done, along with blood work and a urinalysis to help determine what is ailing her. When was her last physical?

I know that frequent urination is a sign of diabetes so I am concerned. Are there any other signs of diabetes I should look for? Any other possible explanations? I would love to put my mind at ease.

Ok so 3 occasions in the past few weeks I have seen a large piece of what looks like white/clear shreds of paper tissue in the toilet. I am sure it is not toilet paper. Had ultrasound that was clear no further follow up. Having frequent urination current urine tests still shows 3.3 (not sure what this means) microscopic hematuria. No infection. Do you think this frequent urination could be related to my neck. I had ACDF surgery on 08/07 and they found 2 ruptured discs and a bulging one. They removed 2 discs and placed a plate and screws. However I was having these symptoms prior to this injury. THey did find a bad disc on L5-S1. On the MRI report it said a small posterior central annular fissure L5-S1 with small subligamentous disc protrusion. Would this disc be causing the frequent urination?
