I already know I have Herpes 2, but am not back in the US so I can get on medication. I have frequent nighttime urination which is caused by the Herpes 2 ( i had done a bacteria urine test and it was negative) . I just wondered, when I get on Valtrex will it take care of the frequent urination at night or do I need to get other medication for that? Anyone out there ever experience it.
I think a lot of persons come here for support, not just because they are worried they might be infected.
About 3 days later I started noticing a increase in my need to urinate (because of this I started drinking more water, to be sure not to get dehydrated, which of course lead to more frequent urination ) I also started feeling a slight pain towards the tip of my penis... Not during urination but just throughout the day, I never noticed any discharge, swelling, or abdominal pain... And the frequency at which I urinate has gone back to more of a regular amount..

I forgot to mention that prior to this incident i was having frequent urination, and some pain in the tip of my penis. However after consulting the urologist the pain subsided but i still had the frequent urination. its been about 4 weeks after this incident, I've still been having frequent urination and 2 weeks ago i met another urologist and he prescribed me std antibiotics and also had sent my blood for std testing ( the results would be out soon).
It started with burning sensation / irritation and frequent urination. I also got red bumps or spots on my penis head. Then I got minor testicular pain. Now burning sensation / frequent urination is gone. Red bumps still there. I got a cbc and urine routine done. All results normal. I also got std tests done I have got most of the results and they are all negative. But just waiting for chlamydia and HSV results. I received a unprotected blow job two weeks ago.
i have been having the urination symptoms, basically frequent urination sometimes even after an hour since beginning of May when i saw this girl who is hsv2 positive. 3rd week after the event, I went to another urologist, he prescribed me an antibiotic. I took the antibiotic for 10 days and it has stopped my frequent urination (which I had it for a long time).
After finishing the course of antibiotics, I started to develop frequent urination and burning sensation while urinating.
I also want to add I did tests for stds hiv, hepatitis b, hepatitis on 25 days after the event, the results came out negative.
My question am I at any risk of and disease????
i had frequent urination problem with an urge to urinate....i went to doc and he made a urine test and he found an infection in my urine and he confirmed it saying UTI...BUT THE PROBLEM IS i didnt tell him about the rubbing of my penis to the clitoris...my question is do we have any frequent urination problem as a symptom of abovr mentioned stds?

The next day I started experiencing frequent urination but no pain. The next morning I took 500mg of doxycycline and 500mg later that night. Would 2 x 500mg of doxycycline fight off anything that was setting in? The urination improved a bit the next day but not fully...Still no pain...Any reason to get tested?

for the past month i have had problem with frequent urination, feeling of urine stuck in urethra, back pain slightly, and urinary incontinence. Urine dipstick was clean. doctor prescribed ciproflaxcin first, it didn't help, then prescribed doxycycline which helped symptoms go down, but i still have them. I am just wondering could this be Herpes? My exposure has been insertive oral sex with 5 different women, i haven't had any herpes type lesions in my genital area.
Both me and my doctor have not seen any obvious herpes lesions. I should also note that at first the back pain was accompanied by frequent urination but that has gone away on its own. (I was tested for Gonorrhea and chlamydia and both were negative)
Is it possible for the Herpes virus to be causing this nerve painfor this long without any lesion?

I never saw anything like that. I took antibiotics for burning urination in 2011 for frequent urination and it worked.
I never had sex ever after that. I developed a fear. Please advise me what I should do now? Can I safely move on based on my repeated -ve results? Do I have any reason to think that it was herpes urethritis or am i just being irrational? please help me.. please.
ive never had any sores or anything...but the frequent urination feeling continued even if nothing would come out...so I saw a urologist who gave me doxycycline and it pretty much made the problem go away....im not sure if it was because I wasnt as anxious sbout it anymore because I was on the medicine and the urologist said feeling of frequently peeing isnt a herpes symptom....so it went away after the antibiotics...but recently I started thinking more snd more about that low posotive Igm...
