Avatar f tn I am a 40 year old woman with the problem of frequent urination. I do not have diabetes or UTI and my ultrasound scan is normal. I underwent a D&C procedure in December of 2007. My urologist thinks that I should see a psychiatrist. I have a bulky uterus. I was 200 lbs three years ago, now I am 125 lbs, (through diet and excercise). My gynec told me that I have over-exercised,(walking 14 km a day). I feel constant irritation and pressure in my bladder.
Avatar n tn s probably a good idea to follow up with your family doctor for a complete workup. Unless you have been experiencing significant weight loss, hair loss, or fatigue, I would not worry too much about cancer yet.
Avatar n tn About a year and a half a year ago, I was diagnosed with impaired glucose fasting, fasting glucose level was 119. Avatar n tn Hello it is possible the concentration problems, hair loss, and nervousness (because of the frequent urination) are causing you to be stressed. The blue, cold, fingers when stressed are most likely from decreased blood flow to the extremities.
Avatar f tn In addition to the frequent urination, I have a great deal of cognitive issues (memory loss / retention problems, concentration problems, shortened attention span, sometimes can't speak properly), depression and anxiety, eye issues (wicked light sensitive, blurry vision, hurts to look up or to the sides), stiff and painful joints and muscles, muscle weakness, occasional tingling in hands or feet, INCREDIBLY fatigued, dizziness and lightheadedness, vertigo, occasional balance issues, and tre
1187383 tn?1264444774 I have recently had some loss of balance issues. It can happen when sitting or standing and I haven't noticed any pattern. It feels like the earth moves down and to the right. Yesterday I was standing and I fell over to the right. Again, it felt like the earth moved. Immediately afterward I felt a little nauseous and needed to lay down for a few minutes, but then I was fine. Other symptoms I've had which may or may not be relevant include insomnia and frequent urination.

Avatar n tn (thought I was crazy) the cycle stopped for several years, then about a month ago,it began again, after dying my hair. only this time there has been so much loss of hair, so I wear a babushka on my head everyday. I have been on Venlafaxcine for over a year, and came to Google to find some answers. certainly found a lot of people in the same boat.It has to be one of the saddest things to loose (especially being a woman)...I try not to let it control my emotions or go to my head Ha Ha!!
Avatar m tn Frequent urination and unintentional weight loss are classic signs of diabetes. See Dr as soon as possible for bloodwork. Also you can purchase a glucose meter at any pharmacy to check before then. But you will need a Dr to tell you if it is def diabetes or not.
Avatar m tn Stress can cause both loss of appetite (which would lead to weight loss) and also can cause one to lose hair. Have you taken any steps toward stress management of late? Also, did you have your cortisol level checked? TSH and free T4 would likely be fine to see how your thyroid is functioning. One site says iron deficiency is often an overlooked cause of hair loss, so you might get that checked if you haven't already.
Avatar n tn Several large studies have confirmed the link between baldness and heart disease. Compared to men with a full head of hair, men with crown loss have an increased risk of heart disease of about 23 percent. Men with complete loss of hair on the top of their head have an increased risk of 36 percent. The combination of hair loss, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol pushes the risk even higher.
Avatar m tn Had ultrasound that was clear no further follow up. Having frequent urination current urine tests still shows 3.3 (not sure what this means) microscopic hematuria. No infection. Being referred to a urologist but very anxious and hoping for some advice while I wait for an appointment. My paternal grandmother died of bladder cancer in her 80s. History of Kidney reflux in daughter and niece.

460185 tn?1326077772 For diabetes (diaabetes mellitis) you would also see weight loss with increased appetite and also increased thirst and increased urination. The fur not growing back like you describe is not a common first sign of either condition, as far as I know. If he'll tolerate it, a sweater might not be a bad idea, at least temporarily. If he seems to be cold, then it might help.
