I have a pain in the pelvic area just above and to the right of the base of my penis. It started as a dull pain infrequently mainly when I sit at my desk and lean forward but now it is a little more frequent ( not constant ) and feels more like a burning you might experience with stretched skin or pulled muscle. No lumps or swelling that I can detect and no other problems with urination or testicular pain.

It improved but then I started looking up symptoms for Stds then i felt like I had every symptom I read. Initially, I just had frequent urination (clear urine) and groin pain. I am a 40 year old woman with the problem of frequent urination. I do not have diabetes or UTI and my ultrasound scan is normal. I underwent a D&C procedure in December of 2007. My urologist thinks that I should see a psychiatrist. I have a bulky uterus. I was 200 lbs three years ago, now I am 125 lbs, (through diet and excercise).

I'm a 30 year old male, in good overall health other than I do smoke. There are many things that can cause frequent urination. Do you have pain with your frequency?
I have Interstitial cystitis an inflammatory bladder disease. This can cause frequency
but also has pain. However for us, foods can effect our symptoms. I suggest you watch acidic foods, avoid coffee, alcohol, soda, caffeine, chocolate, cranberries etc. I can give you some food lists for those of us with bladder issues if you pm me, but those are the big ones.

I had the worst excessive urination from low potassium. I lived in the toilet and was getting splits on my skin down there from constantly using toilet paper. I was using Savlon cream to relieve the pain. The relief of orange juice! High in potassium. Went from excessive urination to normal OVERNIGHT!
Low potassium causes dry skin too btw.
