Does anyone suffer from frequent urination only at night? This has been going on for 6 months; I am up 3-6 times a night and I feel that I am going crazy. I have been tested for infections and everything is healthy in my abdomen and in the right place. I have tried Detrol and Vessicare to no avail! I am 64 years young and I just want a good nights sleep.
A fasting blood glucose of 140 is pretty much diagnostic for early diabetes. Moreover, frequent urination is also listed among a number of symptoms that diabetics, including myself, frequently have. Get a good medical workup and insist that your doctor throroughly evaluate your potential diabetes problem and any other underlying conditions. I woke this morning with an extreme urge to urinate. I went to the bathroom and did a rather large early morning urination, which I didn't see anything abnormal about it. However, after finishing, I still felt like I needed to urinate, but I couldn't. I went back to bed, but ever since, I've had the urge to urinate. I keep feeling like I have to go to the bathroom. When I go, I'm able to urinate only in small amounts, and towards the last moments of the urination, it's painful.
Just curious, if the ultrasound for an ovarian cyst comes back positive do you know if there is anything that they can do to stop the bladder pressure/frequent urination? Have you talked with your GYN or urologist about what (if any) treatments exist for the cysts? Thanks.
I am going again this week for the 1st tri screening US -- can't wait! Anyway, the one symptom that has seemed to escape me is frequent urination...I always seemed to go a fair amount b4 so maybe I'm not noticing a difference, but just wondering if anyone else hasn't had an increase in the need to go pee... I realize that as the baby grows there will be more pressure and therefore an increase, but seems like this is a big symptom early on for a lot of people. Any thoughts?
it is messing with my sleep, and I am fortunate right now that I don't have to be anywhere early in the morning or else I'm finished. to me, the worst case scenario is that I have interstitial Cystitis, which I am scared to death of. Second worse case scenario is that it is cancer or maybe chronic prostatitis. Third case scenario is that it is an obstruction of my urethra that is causing the difficulty and frequency, and this is either because of an enlarged prostate or a urethral stricture.
(I work the third shift) I have frequent urination, which awakens me, also. Last year, I had episodes where I felt weird after sitting for a long time, and then standing up. upon standing, I felt as if I was going to lose consciousness. If I tilted my head back, it was worse! Got a strange sensation in the back of my head and neck. Sometimes my head feels like it is being squeezed. Well, after going to the ER, and three different doctors, not really anything was found.
usually I get up twice to urinate in the night. sometimes in the early morning between 4am to 6 am I have to go to bath room threce or 4 times. This happens once or twice in a fortnight. I have no diabetes. I take I take 1 mg. of allprozolam to get sleep. Can it be food related? Or any other causes?.
We’ve know for many years that frequent bathroom trips at night are usually not due to bladder or prostate problems, but mostly due to breathing pauses that make you wake up and and think that you have to go. Numerous studies have shown that most men and women who have to go to the bathroom often at night or have overactive bladders during the day actually have sleep apnea.
Frequent urination is a pregnancy symptom but for me it didn't happen until later. Once my uterus got big enough to put pressure on my bladder, but everyone is different. You said you didn't drink much liquid. I know when I don't drink enough fluid my bladder gets irriated, and it feels like I need to go more. Make sure you stay hydrated because lack of fluids can cause a UTI which also has you in the bathroom constantly. Did you take a home pregnancy test?
i always get my hopes up every month just for a neg result and i dont even want to test again for fear that i will get a negative. the only thing that threw me off track was my constant frequent urination especially at night and my boobs.

I wanted to thank you for your kind words in my earlier post. I was just wondering, how long did your cramping last. I have been experiance something, I wouldn't really consider it cramping, but it's a feeling I have in my lower abd through most of the day along with twinges. I was just wondering if what you are talking about might be what I have been feeling.
it feels like the water goes through my system pretty quick and needs to come out. I'm not sure if frequent masturbation is a cause of my urination/bladder issue. I tried not masturbating for 3 days lately and I couldn't help but masturbate. Once I put my hands on my penis for about 15 seconds of stroking, I already ejaculated. the semen was clearish in the beginning and the end of my ejaculation was more thickened and white.

I O'd on CD18 today is CD22 and I swear I have bladder pressure and frequent urination, almost feels like a bladder infection but that awful sensation when you pee isn't there (thank god), its like a dull pressure. Also I am not sleeping well for the past couple of nights. Could it be that I want to be preggers so bad that I am manifesting symptoms or could these really be indicators?

If you don't improve soon and you keep having those symptoms (fever and frequent urination), you might want to see your doctor to be safe. Not sure if you're trying to conceive or not, but I hope it works out however you want it to! Good luck! Keep us posted!

However I have experienced light spotting, frequent urination, nausea and most other typical signs a few weeks prior but im not sure because ive been trying for the past 7 yrs and these are syptoms that I have experience times prior but the sore and itchy nipples and pelvic pain is new. About 4 weeks later I started feeling pregnant again. I had tender breasts, frequent urination and fatigue. My normal cycles are about 33 days long, so I waited until I would have been due to start my period if my cycles went back to normal right away and took a pregnancy test. it was negative. I continued to have pregnancy symptoms though, and today would be day 41 since my early miscarriage, and I now have nausea in the mornings too. Could I be pregnant again?
