I have frequent urination (every hr) and burning urethra (sometimes when I am dehydrated) for 4 months now.I have gone thru 20 days of levo,20 days of cipro,1.5gm of azithromycin and finally Cystoscopy 5 weeks back.
The result in cystoscopy said mild chronic cystitis.I have been taken vesicare and xatral for 40 days now.I went to see the urologist again and he said he cannot pinpoint what is the root cause yet and it should clear on its own in 1-2 months.

I was having severe frequent urination problems. I went to several doctors and even the Mayo Clinic. I was eventually diagnosed with "chronic prostatitis." Not wanting to give up because of the problems it was causing me, I looked at stress as the possible cause. I went to a psychologist for biofeedback training -- relaxation training -- and after 3 or 4 weeks my symptoms subsided.
I had the worst excessive urination from low potassium. I lived in the toilet and was getting splits on my skin down there from constantly using toilet paper. I was using Savlon cream to relieve the pain. The relief of orange juice! High in potassium. Went from excessive urination to normal OVERNIGHT!
Low potassium causes dry skin too btw.
to go, I actually go...and go...and go some more. About every 30 minutes to an hour. It has progressively been getting worse. I am in my mid 20's and am healthy besides that. I have had UTI's in the past and doubt I have one for I am in no pain whatsoever, I am 115 pounds and eat healthy so I doubt diabetes, and I dont think it is overactive bladder for I read that you get an "urge" to pee but dont actually go a whole ton.
t it true that HSV-2 can cause frequent urination? and not everyone gets ulcers, lesions, and blister? correct? If this was from hsv-2 would my symptoms last this long. going past 2 weeks of frequent urination? I am 30 yr old male . I have frequent urination since 2 months. KUB, urine analysis, urine culture and diabtic tests have been done. No infections were found. I had white discharge thrice in this two months. And burning sensation after ejaculation. The problem gets worst once ejaculated.some times urine passes as two streams. One with thinnner stream and other as a drops.(not always this stream).

A tingling burning sensation keeps on troubling and it is difficult to initiate urination. Treatment is by local application of antibiotic cream after retracting the foreskin and keeping good personal hygiene.
The other possibility is that something is obstructing the bladder neck like a stone, benign hypertrophy of prostate, polyp, tumor etc. These will cause difficulty in initiating the urine stream and there will be burning if there is inflammation.
Sunday, was able to see another drop of discharge, by gently milking the penis, and slight discomfort at the tip at various times through the day. Today, frequent urge to urinate. Maybe a slight burning sensation during urination, although that may be psychosomatic. A standard STD panel is scheduled for tomorrow.
The question is whether excessive masturbation can cause urethritis, or with this exposure and timeframe, would it be more likely to be something like NGU?

Frequent urination but no fix, please help

Hi guys I have had this problem for a few years naw, night time I can wake around 15 times sometimes or more, I have a brill doctor and have had all the test , I have a slow urine flow and had the camera and nothing showed which was good , I was put on vesicare and told this should def help me, I have had no change and worried as what if there's nothing that can stop this problem :( , it does effect my life and sleep a lot ,
Diabetes not only causes frequent urination but also numbness and tingling sensations.I would advise you to get a fasting blood sugar and Hb A1 C test done.
If dibetes is ruled out then other possibilities which need to be ruled out are prostatitis(inflammation of the prostate gland),interstitial cystitis,overactive bladder syndrome,stroke and other neurological diseases,urinary incontinence,bladder cancer(rare) and bladder dysfunction .
Pls consult a urologist in that case.

frequent urination (no night urination, even if I feel that my bladder is full, if I fall asleep I won't wake up until I'm supposed to); sometimes pain when I urinate (from mild to severe burning pain); shakes, nausea, cold body temperature and my face gets pale (but I guess those are caused by the Anxiety attacks cause they happen only when I'm in public and can't normally go); mild to severe kidney pains, usually severe as I said before, it stops my breathing.
I already know I have Herpes 2, but am not back in the US so I can get on medication. I have frequent nighttime urination which is caused by the Herpes 2 ( i had done a bacteria urine test and it was negative) . I just wondered, when I get on Valtrex will it take care of the frequent urination at night or do I need to get other medication for that? Anyone out there ever experience it.
I think a lot of persons come here for support, not just because they are worried they might be infected.
t even feel this when I was diagnosed with Gonorrhea. My frequent urination only occurred the day after me and my partner had foreplay. (To be honest, it wasn't really much of a foreplay, we just "grinded" with our clothes on, and kissed) Also, I missed taking my daily dose of Doxycilin that day because I had to do some business and forgot to bring my meds with me, but I don't think that's the thing that caused my frequent urination. (or is it?)
