Frequent urination causes and remedies

Common Questions and Answers about Frequent urination causes and remedies

frequent-urination

I have similar symptoms as the OP. Pain after urinating and frequent. Also poor flow sometimes and general lack of libido (although this could be because symtoms are making me unhappy). Have had cystoscopy, showed slightly inflamed prostate. Urine test showed white blood cells. Cipro for a month, along with tamsulosin and dutasteride (avodart) made no real difference. Symptoms 90% remained. This is making my life very miserable. Some days pain lasts for hours after urinating.
My daughter is a cosmetologist and she told me the topo causes the hair follicles to close. What has fallen out, wont grow back, but the hair loss should stop when you discontinue the drug. The Topo really messed up my cycle too. I think my adrenals took a hard hit from just two weeks on the drug. For me it was not worth it. I was stupid, depressed and started having panic attacks on it. I would loose blocks of time. Huge blocks.
D iabetes not only causes frequent urination but also numbness and tingling sensations. I would advise you to get a fasting blood sugar and Hb A1 C test done. If dibetes is ruled out then other possibilities which need to be ruled out are interstitial cystitis, overactive bladder syndrome, stroke and other neurological diseases, urinary incontinence, bladder cancer(rare) and bladder dysfunction .Please consult a urologist in that case.
It is odorless and definitely not only sex-related. It seems to be getting worse - more frequent and now happening in public at times (mostly in yoga class!). It is very humiliating. I cannot see a definite pattern but it may be worse leading up to my period. I need to track it better to see what else it may be related to. I am wondering if kegels might help, as I do have slight incontinence upon coughing and sneezing and am just wondering if that may be related.
in between my big toe of my left foot is numb when I wake up some mornings eyefloaters--seeing black spider looking things that appear and vanish burning and tingling in my legs-temporary chills-which was only temporary shaky hands left leg twitching and my right leg as well twitching when I sleep or at a resting state loose bowels frequent urination (not too bad it just seems that I go more than I use to) insomnia (interrupted sleep) and inability to stay sleep all night without waking head ac
But I'm not very confident about this - I've heard that a cervical etropion is usually left alone because it only causes excess normal discharge and no discomfort. Has anyone got any comments about this? I've also been reading about vulvodynia, and wonder if this is what I have - but vulvodynia seems to cause pain during intercourse, which I don't have. Just a burning, stinging sensation...mostly just uncomfortable, but can get quite painful as the day goes on.
Although less frequent, men can also have these infections. Men and Women often pass these yeast infections back and forth to each other, like a proverbial game of 'hot potato." Yeast, especially Candida, is a common fungus found on the skin of the body, especially in wet, moist places. Therefore, in certain situations there is overgrowth. These yeast causes a drying of the skin (think about yeast's role in breadmaking).
This tearing is not related to intercourse since my husband and I are unable to do that due to the pain it causes me. There is no real pain otherwise. I am getting some minor bleeding when I poop due to the tears in the anal area. The entire vaginal area is very itchy and if I scratch or rub the skin at all I often give myself one of these tears. It seems as if the skin is very thin. There are no other symptoms that I am aware of. I have had blood work and a biopsy done.
I'm also cirrhotic, and I know the pain of failing treatment (having failed two previous treatments), and it causes me a great deal of concern that your doctor may unwittingly send you down that road by stopping your treatment too early. This particular treatment is so hard to get through that it would be heartbreaking to have it fail because it was stopped too soon.
) What happens is, in sensitive people, when they get a (usually) cold virus, it inflames the nerve temporarily (meaning anywhere from a day to 3 weeks) and causes the dizziness. Treatment is aimed at symptoms, usually w/ meclizine, which can be purchased over the counter or by prescription. Also, I've had 2 brain scans (MRI's w/ contrast) and they've both been negative. Think you have to get the scans WHILE the dizziness is going on, if ya wait to long the inflammation goes down.
I am not sleeping ,I was diagnosed with insomnia a while ago and put on a sleep aid, but those days are over. I also have a bladder condition which causes frequent urination and bladder pain. Which is a double whammy and getting worse by the second. I already get up to pee so much, I don't know what I'm going to do as my baby grows and it doesn't help my sleep problem at all.
the prickly itching in my genitals, anus, and buttocks decreased dramatically, and my urination flow returned to almost normal. I feel 100x better than I have for the last 3 months. hope some of this helps. good luck to everyone here.
The pain feels the same when it begins, but 2-3 times has continued after urination for a few seconds. And during those 2-3 times it makes me crouch on the ground for a second or 2 and want to cry :P. I'm 24, and have had no major health issues in my life. Can't figure out what it is or what's causing it. Just having to live with it whenever it occurs.
It feels like someone is taking a sharp knife and stabbing me in the opening of my vagina. It causes me to stop whatever I am doing and just try to fake not being in pain (as is often happens at work). I have noticed that it does happen more frequently when my bladder is full or has been full at some point (taken too long to go to the bathroom). Earlier today I put off going to the bathroom at work until the last minute.
Every article I've read says that they really don't know what causes this painful disorder and that there is no known cure. Typical treatment recommendation is (get this) "REASSURANCE"! You better believe they'd be offering more than "reassurance" if lots of men experienced this. = ) Can you tell that I've gotten really PO'd after realizing that what I have is a real disorder and how just how many women are going through the same thing as me?
Symptoms that suggest a possible infection include burning or pain with urination, frequent urination, cloudy urine, and a sense of urgency (strong, sudden urge to urinate.
I have since had several dilatations of the common bile duct, frequent attacks of Pancreatitis and am still experiencing the same symptoms and pain as I originally had!I now suffer from Chronic Pancreatitis (and I mean suffer!) I take several narcotics for pain, Sandustatin inj. for Pancreatic spasms, and enzymes. However, I was told by my Specialist that there is nothing else that can be done.I am very frustrated! I do not intend to live the rest of my life like this!
The size of the clot depends on how much time elapsed between ejaculation and urination. Once the blood clot has passed through, there's no more blood and the next urinations are clear. Over the years, I made some mistakes and learned a few things along the way. 1. No medication I tried never made any difference. 2. The only thing that makes my condition improve is abstinence for a week or two (which drives me absolutely nuts). Sometimes, even 2 weeks isn't enough and blood still comes out.
I also read that sometimes women have a connection between the uterus and the colon/rectum that causes tugging and bleeding in the uterus when a bm passes through the colon/rectum. That connection could be endo related. Without laproscopy, we can't know if it's endo. Regardless, I thought some of you may be interested in my theory.
I get yellow stools and burning bile that backs up into my system and causes complete HAVOC.... All I can say is good luck to you....in 20 years, I have seen about 15 MD's and ALL of them have different opinions....
I did get a colonoscopy and they said that these symptoms can be attributed to my IBS. Also, another prevalent symptom is frequent urination and feeling of incompleteness with that too. So currently I am experimenting with some remedies- I am taking White Oak Bark (incase it is all due to internal hemmorrhoids), Aloe Vera juice, magnesium, probiotics, and physillium husk fiber.
It is possible that you contratced an infection, hence the pain during urination and the back pain. This could be a consequence of some reflux of the semen back into the prostate or epididymis that would have affected these structures resulting in irritaion and inflammation which may or may not have been part of the infection. Spraying is a sign of urethral stricture or prostatic hypertrophy, which can occur in response to the prostate inflammation.
It just started last night how long can I wait till I have to consult a doctor are there any at home remedies that I could try and see if they work as I don't have the money to consult a urologist. I was thinking a lot of cranberry juice and AZOs.
Associated symptoms in this area are stomach, gerd, throat, bronical tubes, frequent urination, constripation. This is because your sympathetic system runs down the spine.
I faced problems like • Less memory and concentration. • Mild mind. • Increase in body weight. • Frequent urination for about 15-25 times daily including night. • A white gel type discharge during urination at night. • Depressed, stress, dizziness, anxeity, more and more hungry. • Laziness, sleepness at all time. • Upset stomach, burning sensation in stomach. • severe pain during urination. • Uncomfortable in each and every situation. • Hair loss and dandruff infection on my head. • Severe body heat.
Due to the fact that my IBS has been flaring several times a day and always causes pain on my mid to lower right side (several doctors even thought I was having an appendicitis attack!), my Rheumatologist had me undergo an EGD and Colonoscopy. The findigs were minimal. The colonoscopy report came out normal and the EGD pathology report said "acute and chronic mixed inflammation of the small intestine of unknown origin".
Intestinal bloating, making my stomach very hard Spastic colon, rumbling noises are frequent and loud Scalded feeling in my tongue and lips, this symptom has just appeared in the last two years and is the most constant symptom of all especially my tongue Build up of acid in my stomach Pain in my intestinal region, ranging from mild to severe on a daily basis Once a month or so for the last 2 years I will have to urinate every 30 minutes or so and each urination is free flowing and produce
Sounds too good to be true. (AND IT IS!) The fact is, there's already pain killers here in the house and I'm not going to take any of those either. I'm not taking anything. I'm going to ice it, lay down, rest and realize that my body has been thru a heelllla fight and it just needs a break, a breath. A moment. A freakity frackity day off. I've been in a tough battle for 21 solid cold turkey days and before that; the taper AKA "Let the pills run out....
Not to be gross, but it either feels very dry or when I push on it it feels better (not sexual) - just taking the pressure off. When I have these frequent urination things, it's not like I urinate each time, I just feel that I have to go. Can anyone help me? Thank You!!
Today the discharge still exists and seems to be more frequent along with frequent urination. No pain, no burning. Just redness/sensitivity around the base of the penis head, and a little discharge. I'm thinking it's either: 1.) Candida (yeast infection) 2.) Another, Bacterial Infection .... :-/ 3.) A viral infection of some kind. Hoping it's Candida. Since I was on the cipro anti-bac, I know that you are much more prone to getting a yeast infection.
