Avatar m tn it feels as though my prostate is enlarged but the doctor told me that the cultures came back negative. the frequent urination has also gone away but im not peeing as frequently and as much as should compared to my fluid intake. my urine isn't dark but the amount is far less than it should be. im scared that I may have kidney failure. im also having very loose stools but I dont know if that was from taking the cipro. 393893 tn?1283551230 t think he has a bladder infection because there is no pain involved and when he feels like he has to go a significant or normal amount comes out. I know with bladder infections there is pain and alot of the time when you feel like you have to go and try, either nothing comes out or only a few drops. I've posted this in the Men's Health forum as well so sorry if you've already read this. He is wondering if he should get his prostate checked? Thank you in advance for any help!
Avatar f tn Hi all, Recently felt some pain in my penis along with my testicles aching, frequent urination and struggling to have a normal stream. Went to see my GP and they said it sounded like an STD despite me saying i havent had any sexual contact in over 2 years. I had myself tested and again as i couldnt believe the results anf i came back positive for chlamydia. I just dont understand how i could have it? If i somehow came into contact with someones saliva or semen could it have infected me?

Avatar m tn I should mention during the nights: as long as I'm asleep, I'm not waking up to urinate. During the first few nights of my problem I have basically been having trouble sleeping only because I couldn't get to sleep because of my need to urinate, but when I do actually fall asleep I rarely wake up to go to the bathroom. (I think I have woken up maybe three times all of this week during my sleep to use the bathroom).
Avatar f tn I am a 40 year old woman with the problem of frequent urination. I do not have diabetes or UTI and my ultrasound scan is normal. I underwent a D&C procedure in December of 2007. My urologist thinks that I should see a psychiatrist. I have a bulky uterus. I was 200 lbs three years ago, now I am 125 lbs, (through diet and excercise). My gynec told me that I have over-exercised,(walking 14 km a day). I feel constant irritation and pressure in my bladder.
Avatar f tn About 3 days later I started noticing a increase in my need to urinate (because of this I started drinking more water, to be sure not to get dehydrated, which of course lead to more frequent urination ) I also started feeling a slight pain towards the tip of my penis... Not during urination but just throughout the day, I never noticed any discharge, swelling, or abdominal pain... And the frequency at which I urinate has gone back to more of a regular amount..
Avatar f tn A few months later was diagnosed with a hypoactive thyroid and was put on synthroid but other than that I really have no other health issues. While meeting with the doctor about the thyroid, I asked him about the frequency and told him that I thought I had an overactive bladder. He prescribed me 5 mg of oxybutynin 3 times daily and then increased my dose to 10 mg 3 times a day after 2 months but it didn't make any difference.
Avatar f tn I didn't really experience frequent urination during my first trimester...but am having it in my second trimester..am 15 weeks 5 days..anyone else with the same issue.could this be normal?
Avatar f tn Sometimes the urine amount looks normal but most of the time its dribbling. I frequent twice in half an hour when it dribbles. There is no blood in the urine. Most of the time it is accompanied by pain and the sensation is there even after urinating. I did not have this problem ever, I drink 8 glasses of water every day. It started about 3 months ago, then stopped for a good 2 months and now I notice the problem again.
Avatar f tn s the last one. There is no pain, and it can happen in the morning or at night, but the nighttime instances bother me more. The pattern is intermittent, with breaks lasting weeks or months. I initially suspected diabetes and tried a diet, leading to very low blood sugar, especially since I am an active person. The urge to urinate returns when I stay up all night, possibly influenced by hot temperatures making my genital sweaty.
1380526 tn?1292839385 I went yrs and could not feel the urge to go, but instead got pain up my spine....just prior to surgery the urge feelings came back, but if I hold it, I get hot...so it is still a neuro issue and I do have TC as well as just a bladder issue from chiari.
Avatar m tn I suffer from frequent urination between 2am and 6 in the morning. This happens every half hour, lots of urine, no burning, no pain.I have had blood tests, cystoscopy and an IVP done, all came back negative. I don;t drink a lot since i never get thirsty, a cup of tea in the morning and a glass of water for my blood pressure tablets. I'm not swollen but 2yrs ago i had a back op for a pinched nerve, could this be the cause? Please help!
Avatar n tn t had sex with anyone. But I have a good clue that my bladder is inflamed or something. There is no pain or blood anywhere. Can someone please answer to my problem?
Avatar m tn About 3 months ago I received unprotected oral sex I started to urinate very frequently the day after this. No other issues are present (sores, discharge, pain, etc). for example I go to the bathroom to urinate and 5 min later I feel that I need to go again. Some days are better than others. But in general I have a urination fequency. I did Chlamydia, Gonnorhea, urine culture and analysis, all normal. Please tell me what What kind of STD can it be.
Avatar n tn I am not sure if it is just me stressing out over nothing or if I may have something else wrong. I did not mention the frequent urination to my urologist as my symptoms had cleared up for over a week and I just assumed maybe it was stress enduced. Should I be concerned?
Avatar m tn Recently have had an issue of frequent urination more at night and also at day , once i go , then i feel or have the feeling i need to go immediately and only small amounts or dribble .
Avatar f tn I have been experiencing frequent urination for the past 2 months. I do not experience any other symptoms. I do not have any burning or pain. I just feel the urge to urinate every 1-2 hours. The color of my urine is also normal. There has been no change in the amount of fluids i consume. My thyroid is normal and i am not diabetic. Also, my urinalysis and urine culture have come out normal. What could be causing this?
Avatar n tn I am a 22 years old male from india. I am suffering from frequent (day time) urination (around 12 times in daytime only, don't wake up from sleep to urinate ) for the last 6 years. I generally have to urinate in small amounts,I feel that I am emptying my bladder everytime . My urine flow also is normal, I take little time to start urinating as the amount of urine is not much. there is no urinary leakage , i feel my pelvic floor muscles are strong enough.
Avatar f tn Some women get frequent urination and some don't early in pregnancy. :>) You are fine. The frequent urination is caused in later pregnancy due to the weight of the baby pushing on the bladder. I'm sure you'll have this at some point. Ugh, we all do.
Avatar n tn I'm 7 weeks and have no symptoms besides back pain, frequent urination, and fatigue. Should I be worried ?
Avatar m tn urinary tract infection, interstitial cystitis, intake of diuretics and other medications, radiation therapy or bladder dysfunction. It would really help if you consult with the urologist for further evaluation and management. Take care and keep us posted.
Avatar f tn s in the past and doubt I have one for I am in no pain whatsoever, I am 115 pounds and eat healthy so I doubt diabetes, and I dont think it is overactive bladder for I read that you get an "urge" to pee but dont actually go a whole ton. I don't have medical insurance so it would be nice to know if I should be running to the dr. or not? Ideas on what it is?
Avatar m tn There are many things that can cause frequent urination. Do you have pain with your frequency? I have Interstitial cystitis an inflammatory bladder disease. This can cause frequency but also has pain. However for us, foods can effect our symptoms. I suggest you watch acidic foods, avoid coffee, alcohol, soda, caffeine, chocolate, cranberries etc. I can give you some food lists for those of us with bladder issues if you pm me, but those are the big ones. Hope that helps!
Avatar f tn Since doctors don't seem to want to help me figure out what's wrong, I'm trying to investigate my various symptoms to find potential diseases to rule out. For the past two and a half years, I've had a problem with frequent urination. No incontinence of any kind, but I tend to pee on average 12-20 times a day. Sometimes I'll be up one or two times at night, sometimes more and sometimes not at all. I DO drink quite a bit of fluid.
Avatar f tn Earlier i experienced symptoms but they didn't last long. I've had baaaad fatigue then at night i got no sleep, mood swings, frequent urination, back pain, nausea, sore & itchy boobs, constipation, diarhea & stuffy nose. Now i get only excess saliva, is this a bad sign???
