Common Questions and Answers about Frequent urination at home

frequent-urination

Avatar m tn I'm a 17 year old male. Backstory: Last Tuesday (dec 29th) I felt like I had to urinate frequently. I'd go, and possibly 5-10 minutes later I'd feel like I had to go again. Not a lot, mind you. I could even ignore the feeling for the most part, but it was there. I'd be going frequently for the next couple of days but in very little amounts. I went to the Doctor on last Thursday and last Monday and received a urine test both times and they both came out negative for everything.
Avatar f tn I am a 25 year old female and for the past year or so now I have been getting sudden and frequent urges to urinate. I urinate at least once an hour and most of the time I feel like I have to go again about 15-20 minutes later. It seems to be worse when I'm laying down. I have never experienced incontinence and do not have a urinary tract infection.
Avatar m tn It worries me that if my penis touched her secretions while it was still wet on my boxers or even after it dried that that may have put me at risk. 3 days later i went to get checked for std because i started having frequent urination and an overall discomfort in my penis. My test results were negative but im still have frequent urination and discomfort. Please help!
Avatar m tn I too had a problem of frequent urination. I would go each hour of the day at home, sometimes twice an hour, and wake up twice during the night to go to the bathroom. I found I didn't go so much at work or outside. I began to think I had just developed a habit, especially at home. So, I decided to rstrict going to the toilet and try to hold the urge for at least two hours between visits. Low and behold it worked.
139792 tn?1498585650 The doctor ususally say that at 80, with insomnia, you do more frequent urination. Sombody suggested, at every 10 years after 60, you do add one extra visit two bath room. Any way we have to fight whether it is age related or some alignment related. I have also observed when i am tense, I have more frequent visit to bathroom. As it was not a major problem, i did not bother to rectify. I continue to treat now. Thanks.
4322328 tn?1353998038 Some women don't at all.. I didn't at all with my previous pregnancy til the last trimester, this pregnancy it was one of my first symptoms, so it varies. Usually the last trimester or end of the 2nd is when your uterus really starts weighing on your bladder.
Avatar m tn t it true that HSV-2 can cause frequent urination? and not everyone gets ulcers, lesions, and blister? correct? If this was from hsv-2 would my symptoms last this long. going past 2 weeks of frequent urination? The STD clinic said it could be from that and my heart sank. thank you for your time and i swear i did not mean to imply that i preferred the other doctor. He just knew more about me. I apologize once again.
1380526 tn?1292839385 Also is ur urine darker at times and clear on the frequent days? This could fit my theroy. Just be careful not to dehydrate yourself to prevent the constant BR trips. Too often people stop drinking enough to compinsate and that isn't good either What a pain in the neck this is. In more ways than one.
Avatar f tn I didn't really experience frequent urination during my first trimester...but am having it in my second trimester..am 15 weeks 5 days..anyone else with the same issue.could this be normal?
Avatar f tn I had the worst excessive urination from low potassium. I lived in the toilet and was getting splits on my skin down there from constantly using toilet paper. I was using Savlon cream to relieve the pain. The relief of orange juice! High in potassium. Went from excessive urination to normal OVERNIGHT! Low potassium causes dry skin too btw.
Avatar f tn If there are stressful situations affecting him, try to make sure he has some relaxation time, or quiet time to spend with his family. After about 3 to 5 months, the frequent urination symptoms dissapeared for my son. I hope this helps. Take care.
Avatar f tn Im curious about this. Is frequent urination at 37 weeks normal?
721523 tn?1331581802 I have frequent problems with urination. Difficulty in getting the muscles to relax, urgency (when it's time to go, I gotta go - or I'm going to have an accident.) And today I coughed and wet my pants! I think that's known as stress incontinence - but I haven't had any kids, so I'm blaming it on muscle weakness. Some of my symptoms have stuck around, some have gone away... so it's really just a case of wait and see.
Avatar m tn but what could be causing the frequent urination? I only take fish oil and multivitamins. Medical history that I have is cervical stenosis also have herniated discs in the back as well. I am a drinker but have been sober for the past month.
Avatar m tn Recently have had an issue of frequent urination more at night and also at day , once i go , then i feel or have the feeling i need to go immediately and only small amounts or dribble .
Avatar f tn I have frequent urination (every hr) and burning urethra (sometimes when I am dehydrated) for 4 months now.I have gone thru 20 days of levo,20 days of cipro,1.5gm of azithromycin and finally Cystoscopy 5 weeks back. The result in cystoscopy said mild chronic cystitis.I have been taken vesicare and xatral for 40 days now.I went to see the urologist again and he said he cannot pinpoint what is the root cause yet and it should clear on its own in 1-2 months.
Avatar n tn Symptoms do not come on the next day and frequent urination is usually not a stand alone symptom and frequent means like every 10-15 minutes. If worried wait 1 week from the encounter and get tested for gonorrhea, but overall I see no need to do so.
Avatar m tn urinary tract infection, interstitial cystitis, intake of diuretics and other medications, radiation therapy or bladder dysfunction. It would really help if you consult with the urologist for further evaluation and management. Take care and keep us posted.
Avatar f tn A neurologic problem, hormonal disorders, pituitary gland problems, a urinary tract infection, increase intake of fluids and certain medications. Certain tests may need to be done to have these differentials excluded. A baseline urinalysis and urine culture, urodynamic studies, and CT scan of the kidney, ureter and bladder may help. I suggest a consult with a urologist to at least rule out an underlying urinary tract infection.
Avatar f tn Since doctors don't seem to want to help me figure out what's wrong, I'm trying to investigate my various symptoms to find potential diseases to rule out. For the past two and a half years, I've had a problem with frequent urination. No incontinence of any kind, but I tend to pee on average 12-20 times a day. Sometimes I'll be up one or two times at night, sometimes more and sometimes not at all. I DO drink quite a bit of fluid.
