My health insurance ghi does not cover breast lift or reduction. I am currently a size 42dd and my breast are sagging. I cannot afford the procedure or do not know exactly what I need if its a breast lift or reduction. I suffer from shoulder pains almost everyday am my doctor only prescribe me motrin for the pain. I really need help and cannot afford it. Is there a list or some doctors that can help me for free in nyc?

I had a breast lift w/ lipo 20 months ago- my left breast has been feeling like something is tearing inside and I have a strange, almost achey feeling in the breast and towards my armpit. Now I am drug free, symptom free. I just wear clay against my breast every night. I jog. I feel great, rarely ill. I am two pounds heavier than before I started Prednisone. The thing with me that is different compared lots of women with this disease is that all my trouble was local to the breast. I never had joint trouble, weakness or any other inflamation in the body. I contined to jog through the disease (but I had to hold my bandaged breast against my chest the whole time).
When you find the weight you can lift with perfect form 1X then only lift 65-85% of that weight! You should try to do 12 repetitions of that exercise then rest 30 seconds do another 12 reps. rest 30 sec. and do your last 12 reps. So you're doing 3 sets of 12 rep. As you progress and the weight gets easier to lift then either add more reps or add more weight!
I do 6 reps. with a 20 second rest 10 times that gives me a total of 60 reps.

I went to bench 225 I got it 5 times and when I got up from the bench I was very light headed and felt a pressure on my chest. The pressure lasted for a week... I have Mega Life and they do not pay well. They only pay a maximum of two thousand for ambulatory procedures. Would breast reductioin and lift by ambulatory? Would tissue expander placement be ambulatory. How much would that cost... a range? How much for the implant placement. Is it ambulatory as well? Are the risks less with the implant and the latissimis with implants than witht the diep. No one discussed anything with me but diep. It was like.. the plastic surgeon took one liook and said..
I will be done with the tissues expander in couple of weeks. The size looks acceptable, except two breats are mile apart. I look ok with a bra and some creative inserts to lift the sagging breast.. My PS almost always does a small implant to accomplish symetry. My obgyn says it will interfere with the screening. There is also an option of breast lift. I 'd like to hear from those who have gone through this.

Hi! I had a breast lift done about 8 years ago and i'm currently 22 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child. I know a lift and reduction are different but I did ask my OBGYN and was told being able to breast feed would depend on if the doctor severed or removed any ducts. You'll find out when the time comes so don't waste your emotions worrying about it right now. Plan to breast feed if that's what you want and just be emotionally prepared for the alternative.
