Common Questions and Answers about Foot pain little toe

foot

Avatar m tn I am having all sorts of pain in my foot and leg and can't seem to get a diagnosis. So far, I've seen two podiatrists, neurologst, PCP, and will see an orthopedic surgeon in about a month. Last year I rolled over my big toe with a pallet jack that had a pallet on it at an old job. Well at the time it didn't break my foot or cause any bruising or any type of problem that required medical attention so I let it go.
Avatar f tn Still have constant pain along the outside and on top of that foot about 1 inch from base of little toe. I am getting so discouraged so please help if you can. Thanks alot in advance.

Avatar n tn After removing the callus I noticed a hole in the bottom of my foot that bled (not caused by me removing the callus too deep) I had severe pain in my little toe that seemed to be attached to this hole in my foot. For years the callus would grown and there would always be a little speck of blood underneath. I still have pain in this area when ever I stand. Could this be an exposed nerve? What can I do about it?
Avatar f tn sorry, I forgot to mention it's my toe specifically that twitches- on my left foot, the third one to the right of my big toe.
5857895 tn?1375557137 Hello there, Just finished reading your comments. I can certainly relate to what happened to you. Many years ago, I walked into a teak chair in the dark in our dining room. My ex husband had put the chair in a different place and I walked into it in the dark on the way to the kitchen to have a drink. Anyway, long story short. It wasn't my little toe. It was the toe next to the little toe on my left foot. The next morning that toe was really badly bruised.
Avatar f tn For the past three or four years I have had severe pain in my toes when bearing weight on my foot. When sitting down there is no pain but when I stand and start walking the pain is extreme when bearing weight on the foot. Examination by a phisio, orthopedic surgeon and podiatrist have not been able to help. I have been prescibed various drugs including baclofen and pregabalin but still no joy. Anyone have a similar experience and information would be appreciated.
Avatar f tn Is it in the actual toe or at the base of the toe near the foot? If it is at the base of the toe near the foot it could be Morton's neuroma, which can be removed surgically by a podiatrist.
Avatar f tn im 51 and just started to have foot and toe pain, i seem to have some kinda of reddish blueish rash on my feet, which is more just on the sides up to my little toes on both feet, its not raised, but does seem to itch just a little, but the pain can be over bearing most of the time, it has effected my 5th toe on my left foot., my big toes are somewhat red to, ive been to my dr.
Avatar n tn I have a white spot between my last two toes. It burns and makes my little toe sore. I have tried athlete's foot cream and corn pads without success. Any ideas what it is and how to treat it? The white spot is about 1/4 inch in diameter and almost like a calleous.
Avatar m tn In the last 2-3 years have acquired severe pain in ankle and foot! I get a burning pain in center of foot and at the ball behind big toe it stays sore to the touch.. .. Any recommendations!???
Avatar f tn s neuroma affects the ball of the foot usually between the third and fourth toe. I have it and it is sharp burning pain when I have tight shoes on or sometimes burning or numbness. Is your pain only in the big toe and is it in the joint area(s)? Could it be gout? The symptoms sound like Morton's neuroma but just not in the same area. They do say usually so perhaps sometimes it can be in the big toe occasionally.
Avatar n tn this is in no way a diagnosis or medical recommendation, just wanted to share what a broken little toe feels like and the slow recovery it has in it's own. good luck!
1467506 tn?1286413017 I had surgery on my foot 2 months ago to remove a bone spur on the top of my foot. I also had a toe (second toe, next to great toe) that was affected by separate pain and had completely turned crooked. The top of my foot - where the spur was removed is still very sore and painful if I wear shoes that tie or walk for any distance. The entire foot feels cramped as well. The toe issue is unchanged - still the same pain as before bone spur surgery.
335728 tn?1331414412 I get toe cramps, too, on my right foot, mostly. My third toe sticks DOWN and moves over under my fourth toe; such a weird, painful thing! Sometimes warming it up under running water helps. I also get the cramps in the bottom of my feet, so my toes fan out and cramp, too. That used to happen only in my water exercise classes, which I had to give up. Now it happens in bed.
Avatar f tn Ok this sounds weird but under my big toe and second toe under the the skin of the ball of the foot it feels like there is fluid there. No pain, no swelling but it feels like a blister under the skin. Any ideas as to what it is. Was in a accident about 3 weeks ago, was rear ended nor major injuries just some spazzing muscles in neck and back. But this problem hasn't gone away yet.
Avatar f tn t work). Still have the foot pain and now the shooting pain in my left toe is back. It feels like someone is putting a taser to just that toe. It doesn't happen regularly and have know idea what precipitates it, usually happens at night and wakes me up like a jolt of electricity. Lasts about a minute and rubbing it makes it worse.
514349 tn?1272801633 The day after, my little toe looked like a black olive. It's been 11 days. While the bruise has all but been absorbed, the toe is still swollen specially on the underside and there still mild pain that comes and goes. I don't think it's broken, I can flex and spread my toes.
Avatar f tn I woke up about 5am this morning with a sharp pain in my toe next to the pinky toes . The pain is so severe i screamed out in pain. About 2 weeks ago i did purchase new running shoes but i havent tested them out at the gym yet. Ive been wearing them everyday at work though. The pain occurs every 5 mins and just as painful as the first time. My foot seems normal no swelling or discoloration. Please help.
Avatar m tn At first I thought it was because of the winter months, but now as the heat is rolling in, only one toe slightly shades blue (left foot, toe that is right next to pinky toe). I am not sure what it could mean? My feet are usually very cold too but I noticed recently even when they are not and I am moving around, my toe tends to turn a shade of blue, when I press on it, it goes back to normal.
