I reckon everything is quite normal in pregnancy.. I had footpain last week @6weeks it felt like brusing under the balls of my feet and heels felt like they were gonna crack! I bought new runners and feel much better... also enjoyin being barefoot in the house which is new to me!
2 years ago I got pregnant with an ectopic pregnancy. I had severe pain in my ovary area for months afterwards radiating down my leg to the bottom of my foot. I switched doctors went into surgery and awoke to be told that I had severe acute pid. I have recently undergone my last surgery with tissue removal from the uterus to the liver. It could also also be a back problem.
I experienced the same pain but my ankles and feet were extremely swollen almost my entire pregnancy. It took at least 2 months after I had my daughter for the swelling to go away. The pain lasted about 4 months. I remember getting out of bed and feeling like I couldn't walk! It eventually went away! Good luck to you! :) P.S. I saw that you are from Oklahoma. My mom is originally from Oklahoma. All of my relatives live in Edmond!
Hello, can anyone come up with some suggestions of what is wrong with my foot, its baffling my rheumatologist and orthopaedic surgeon. Basically, I've had high levels of pain in my foot for several years, at least eight. I've reported this to GPs, gone to casualty but always told there was absolutely nothing wrong with it and to go away. The pain is on the top of my foot (not underneath) in the middle bone and running into my toe.
but lately my right foot and sometimes left have been hurting like someone got a hammer and whacked my foot. but its not a bruised kind of pain..its every time i walk on it,..its hurts. aches etc. Should i be concerned or is it just another wonderful pregnancy related item? im debating wether to mention it to doctor.
The other day I had a slight pain in my right foot. Like I pulled a muscle or something other. Last night it hurt worse. Hurt to step on it and hurt to put my shoes on. Tonight, it's so intense I want to cry. If I lift my foot up. Move my toes. Step on it. Anything it's terrible. I didn't do anything to my foot. No injuries or trama to it. I do however have server anxiety. And don't know if I should just rest it up, or rush to the doctor. -.
I dont think that much swelling is normal. Did something possibly bite or sting you?
I'm on T3s and Percocepts for the pain (taken sparingly given the pregnancy) and haven't slept much in 5 weeks. It would be nice to be off the pain meds entirely and to have some hope that this may end. Not sure what to do next to try to fix this.
Contributing to the trade deficit by purchasing cheap Chinese-made **** isn't helping the economy, and Wal-Mart's business, environmental, and labor practices have been devastating to local economies, plus they treat their workers like sh*t. I wouldn't set foot in a Wal-Mart (I don't even think there is one here in San Francisco), and I would only support somebody shopping at one if there are absolutely no other choices available.
All my children were preemie's and I never followed the normal pregnancy rules when I was pregnant in the past with the 6 of my children. I went through hell and for this reason I could not handle having any more children so fought with the dr and was forced to settle with having my tubes done.
I have been through a pregnancy and since the birth of my son, I have constant swelling, numbness and pain in my right foot, my right hand and arm feels weak and numb alot of the time. These symptoms first appeard when I hurt my back, but have become pretty constant from late pregnancy onwards, and now I am noticing some numbness in the right side of my face. Is all of this related? The only consultant I have seen said that numbness in my hand would not be caused by my back problem.
It's not pretty as they cry excessively. I was prescribed pain killers throughout my pregnancy and waened down VERY SLOWLY with the help of my ob/gyn. I had a beautiful, healthy, perfect little girl who continues to thrive and become smarter and smarter by the minute. I just want to stress to all the pregnant women out there who are using for whatever reason be it legal or not, that you cannot and SHOULD NOT go cold turkey under any circumstances.
I had some sciatic pain in my 2nd trimester on but it subsided quickly. I do have some pain very low in my back now that only occurs when I am sleeping though it can be quite uncomfortable. My ob/gyn was concerned that I am losing some mobility in my feet as a result of the pain so she referred me to my pcp. My pcp was concerned as well (I am even clumsier than ever with the numbness and broke a toe) and referred me to a local neurologist.
I have a very high pain threshold but I was crying in pain and begging my dh to call an ambulance (he wouldn't wake up!!) but after about 15 mins the pain died. So 2 days ago I started to get a dull ache in the same spot, but now more localised to just below and running under my lower ribcage, and more the back than the front. It's an ache but turns in to a sharp stabbing pain when I cough or sneeze, and it's gradually getting worse.
Try having ur partner rub ur back with epsom salt it took pain out of my foot lol so it should work on any part of ur body im just trying to give ideas
Are you sure it's not PSD? the softening of your ligaments in your pelvis can lead to some pain down there.. . mainly when you are walking or when you put your weight on one foot (getting dressed), but not if you are sitting. I'm 36 weeks, but I've had it since 30 or so weeks.I've found wearing a support band can help a lot. Also, sitting down when putting on pants/underwear!
Hi- I myself have never been diagnosed with HSV type 2, but about 7 yrs. ago I noticed burning pain in my right buttocks, back of my leg & especially the foot, mostly the bottom & heel. Someitimes I noticed a nagging pain in the right side of my vagina with inercourse. I just thought I'd tweaked a nerve in my back. I never had, & still have never had, a lesion on my exterior genitalia. These episodes came & went, & I just kept going.
well I'm 6 weeks casted tomorrow and I can say right now that the point on my foot where the most pain was has let up. I still have a bit of pain in the ankle area though. This cast I'm in right now is really quite comfortable. She put on extra padding around the "hot spot" and it has been pretty good up till now. I still have 2 weeks and a day to go. Next weekI'm going to give walking on it a try. I purchased a shoe that is meant for aiding in walking in a short cast.
It was found during an MRI I had to check for reasons of infertility). About 5 years ago, after exerting myself, I felt a strange sensation in my foot (almost as though there were something tight around it) and forearms/wrists. My arms/wrists recovered quickly, but the foot sensation lasted. As there is MS in my family I was referred to a neurologist. He told me he saw no evidence of MS at that time and thought that maybe I had strained myself too much.
Its one of the more annoying cant do much about it symptoms, just try to hang in there, oh also sleeping propped up helps, in a recliner prefrably. Hope you find some relief.
( now all I need is my man to get bk n town so I can put my foot up till I gotta go pay bills
Is there any pain in the calf part of your leg? How far up does the swelling go? And am I correct that it is only one leg/foot? Is there a red or hot area, or any area painful to the touch?
I couldnot get out of bed because of the overwhelming pain and the pregnancy on top of that was horrible in itself. I was vomiting day after day all day. I had to be treated for dehydration on more than two occasions. I always felt it was my fault. If only I could stop taking those d*** pills. On thre other hand I was reassured it was perfectly safe for the baby. It still made me cry everytime I went to see my OB. They then decided I was having too much stress and wanted me to take Ativan.
I keep having pain when I walk too but it's more in my hips and sometimes I get a shooting pain in my vagina. Every time I ask at the doctor he tells me its because of pregnancy.
