Avatar f tn Every morning for the past 6 to 8 months when I get up in the morning my left big toe seems to stay asleep for at least an hour. I naturally walk with my big toe held up. It's very annoying & Uncomfortable. What could be the reason for this?
Avatar f tn I wake prematurely every morning with unbearable back pain in the lower to middle back. Once I get up and start moving it around it gets better and stays that way until I wake up again the next morning. I'm only 23 years old. I don't think that it's my mattress because it is no more than 7 months old, and I've slept on it for a while without having these problems; this started happening about 2-3 weeks ago.
Avatar f tn I woke up about 5am this morning with a sharp pain in my toe next to the pinky toes . The pain is so severe i screamed out in pain. About 2 weeks ago i did purchase new running shoes but i havent tested them out at the gym yet. Ive been wearing them everyday at work though. The pain occurs every 5 mins and just as painful as the first time. My foot seems normal no swelling or discoloration. Please help.
Avatar f tn Every morning I wake up dizzy have really bad back pain and feel like I am going to pass out. After I throw up I start to feel a little better. What is wrong I get hot flashes too. My stomach also gets bigger through out the day.
Avatar f tn Every night when I go to sleep I feel fine, but every morning I wake up sick, feeling somewhat nauseas as if I'm toxic or have a hangover. It takes from 1-3 hours before the sickness dissipates and I feel good enough to go to work. If I get up with less than 5 hours of sleep then I'm okay (just tired). If I sleep for a total of 6 hours or more I get sick, even if I get up for an hour and then go back to sleep. My only other symptom is vivid nightmares.
Avatar f tn Has anyone had foot pain, as if the whole bottom of your foot is bruised. I also have Type 2 Diabetes but tested negative for neuropathy a couple of years ago. Do have painful feet, mostly at night until recently. Stood 2 days to cut out patterns and now every time istand for any time, it gets worse again. If I soak it in warm water, is better until I stand again. This is mainly in the left foot.
Avatar f tn i feel a kind of numbness on d base of my foot..the doctor has stopped me from going for morning and evening walks...please suggest what could be the reason..

1142551 tn?1264736930 I am experiencing extreme foot pain right now. My left foot hurts from the ball of the foot upwards ..toes feel like they are being pulled the wrong way. can't put pressure on upper foot. I walk on the heel or on the left side of the foot. This is the third time since xmas and it last 3 or 4 days. Now starting day 5...i have a cane but i can't find it cause i am always moving and losing things.
Avatar n tn Since the injury, which occurred while hiking and hopping off a rock, my heel has been numb and tingling and I have a very sore spot on the ball of my foot. The foot is very still in the morning and the numbness and tender spot is constant. I shared this with my orthopoedic surgeon several times and he kept saying it would go away. It is not improving and my foot is more stiff and sore in the morning than it has been. What do I do next?
Avatar f tn I am on my feet for twelve hour shifts and sometimes the pain keeps me awake at night. The next morning I wake up and my foot feels swollen and I have trouble walking. It has caused me to be out sick a few times so far in the past month. Could the radiologist or md have missed something on the scan? He is calling it inflammation but it feels like something more is going on. What to do????
Avatar m tn I have occasional pain in my left foot just in front of my ankle bone. When it starts to hurt (which is about every couple of weeks) I get a knot there about the size of a quarter. The pain is so bad it keeps me awake at night. I can't bare my weight on that foot. What could this be??
Avatar m tn Every morning I am woken up by a pain about 2" below my bellybutton. Its just a sharp pain. I can feel it more when I am lying down, but I sometimes feel it all day. I have been to GI doctors and have had upper and lower GI's, but nothing. I do have baretts esohpagus and gerds, but I don't think that would cause this pain. I have diverticulous and have had CT scans with contrast and still nothing. What could be causing this pain?
Avatar f tn This knot does not hurt. Could this be the source of my pain? My foot actually hurts more toward the outside and where the heel starts. The heel itself is not really painful. Also, my foot feels like it is going to get a cramp in more now. Is the knot any cause for concern? Thanks for your advice.
1453990 tn?1329231426 I will also sometimes wake in the morning with similar spasms in my foot that make it really hard to walk. I have to keep my right foot on tiptoe as it's impossible to flatten it on the floor when this happens. So I would guess that your spasticity is causing spasms on the outside edge of your foot, and making your toes pull down. I definitely agree that's it's crazy how much pain such a small muscle can create.
Avatar m tn In the last couple of weeks every morning when I wake up my left foot/ankle hurts to put pressure on it. I hobble around for 5 minutes then it seems to be ok and I'm fine all day. I've noticed it also happens if I sit down for an extended period. I think the pain is in the joint, more on the top where my shin meets my foot. Does anyone else experience this pain? Will it go away as I get more and more used to running? Any advice appreciated.
Avatar n tn Every morning when I wake up, my ankles really hurt when I put my feet on the floor and take the first couple of steps. After that, they are fine. Any ideas as to what is causing this and what I can do to prevent it? Thank you!
Avatar f tn In my second trimester I used to get Charlie horses every morning! Sometimes in the middle of the night. I read up on it and asked the doctor and was told to drink plenty or water, and eat bananas (potassium) they went away recently. Good luck!
