Avatar f tn I'm 33 weeks and it feels like he is trying to do a jump rope routine in my womb but it always results in him kicking my ribs anyway to avoid getting my ribs battered?
Avatar m tn o) I used to do alot of running until the last 2 months when i injured myself. I did not injur myself through running but by skipping/jump rope. I was skipping for about 1hour and the next day i woke up and could literally not walk as was getting pains in my leg just to the side of my shin and also in my foot. They have still not improved and was wondering on any tips, etc?
Avatar f tn after going baby shopping with my daughter today for hours of walking we got home and she asked me to show her how to jump rope well of course I picked up the rope and started jumping for a good 2 minutes. now all night my stomach has been tightening having more braxton hicks and back pains baby is still moving tons I'm just worried cause even though I'm huge I'm only 35 weeks. I still did the silliest thing ever and wondering if it hurt him.
Avatar f tn s better to do a few short but high intensse work outs or one loooong not so high work out? Jumping rope 3-5 times for 3 (trying for 5 mins but right now only at 3) minutes each and a very high intensity with rest in-between or long 45-60 min easyer bike ride? I do try to do a bit of each but just wondering what's better for loosing weight fast.
Avatar f tn I know you can continue to work out but I would ask the Dr which workouts are ok just to be safe. Maybe it's because I'm almost 36wks but I couldn't picture myself jumping rope lol. But I'm pretty sure keeping up with a workout routine will help you have an easier delivery.
1159737 tn?1286517257 I always ahd a problem jumping rope as a child, so I never tried as an adult....my chiari symptoms have been around as long as I can remember....I just dealt or compensated. I was told teh best type of exercise for chiarians is swimming....not diving or jumping in...but swimming and I was able to get in a pool this past summer and I did enjoy it. Ne thing where u exert will cause those pains..... I have been trying to figure out how to exercise as well bcuz I want and need to lose weight....
Avatar f tn Suddenly, I feel a hand just petting the top of my foot with a very firm, deliberate pressure. They did this about 6 times to assure me that my husband and I were not alone in the room. I was freaking out, but not afraid, and said to my husband, "Uhm, honey? Somebody is petting my foot as we speak." He looked at me as if I were nuts. He is not a believer in anything. I told him, "They are doing it right now!" Less than a year later, we moved into this house.
Avatar f tn it is possible jumping rope may be ok for you.....but we are all different so some of us can not jump rope.....so if you try jumping rope and have no effects then it is ok for you.....if your symptoms increase or are triggered then it is not the right activity for you. Have you had a recent MRI...and when did the eye issues start?
Avatar m tn Have your medical providers given you reasons for your inability to stand straight? Do you have bone fractures or organ injuries? Indeed very serious injuries can take years to resolve - at least before you feel normal again. It may be time to get your lumbar spine - including coccyx area reevaluated. New scans may be in order to diagnosis any possible changes. Indeed a good physical may be beneficial to determine the reason(s) for your symptoms.
1308443 tn?1302693321 Last night I did a front flip on the trampoline and when I landed on my back my right heel came down hard on my left foot. I thought it was fine and kept jumping. When I jumped it felt like someone stabbed my foot. I went inside and looked at it. It was swollen and bruised. So I iced it. I got up this morning and I can't move the toe next to my pinky and whenever I put any weight on that part of my foot it hurts really bad. The top and bottom of my foot are swollen.
Avatar f tn Hmmm. Well, I'm 37 - that's probably a factor! I'm phycially fit - can easily hike several miles effortlessly in high altitudes, play tennis and basically just run around with my kids w/out breaking a sweat. I've never been a real cardio buff but have never had my body fail so dismally before on what I thought was such a simple bit of exercise (the jump rope).
Avatar f tn Jumping rope is one of the easiest and most-effective ways to burn fat and lose weight around your waist and all over, as it can burn as many as 750 calories per hour. Be sure to get a rope that is long enough. Stand with your feet on the middle part of the rope and pull up both ends evenly. They should reach the middle of your chest. Then be sure to have a pair of cross-training or aerobics sneakers that has a lot of cushion and support to handle the jumping and landing.
15795633 tn?1443186038 You will do both weight training exercises such as pushups, situps and squats, and aerobic exercises such as jumping jacks, jumping rope and burpees. Each exercise is done for a set amount of time, I suggest 30 seconds, or a set amount of repetitions. After you have performed the full circuit, take a short break to recover and drink water, then do the circuit again. Circuit training is an excellent way for women to strengthen their muscles and burn fat.
Avatar f tn I couldn't do lunges because it caused severe pain. Then a trainer showed me how to put my foot on a slippery disc and move it that way. Pain is gone.
Avatar f tn I went bungee jumping and afterwards my whole neck started to tingle and my left hand started to tingle for about 2 minutes. then i started to feel weird for another hour or so. SO I am completely scared that i may have a heart condition. The neck thingy has happened to me whenever I get excited and i have always ignored it but now my left arm started to vibrate pretty intensely. Im horrified. If you have time can you give me a diagnosis?
Avatar n tn Cardio exercises for your circuit workout include jumping rope, jumping jacks, jogging, burpees and jump squats. Effective strength exercises that target your butt include dumbbell squats, dumbbell lunges, dumbbell step-ups, dumbbell side lunges and dumbbell deadlifts. Google all the mentioned exercises to see how to do them. You can also google home exercises for building glutes. Get the OK from your doctor!!

Avatar n tn Plyometric exercises are challenging and ideal if you're short on time. You can design an effective 15- to 20-minute, high-intensity workout with a combination of such exercises as jumping jacks, squat jumps, lunge jumps, squat-thrust jumps, mountain climbers and high knees. For a boot camp-style training session, perform each exercise for one minute with a 30-second recovery between exercises. Rest for three minutes after completing the first set, and then complete two more sets.
Avatar n tn The most slimming exercise is jumping rope, but you may have to get liposuction to reduce them, quite honestly.
108334 tn?1253644395 There are a lot of little bones in the foot. I had a hair line fracture of the foot that healed on its own. Some are more serious. But they'd have been looking for that. Is he swollen? You'd think sprain too but you'd notice swelling. I'd say he just hurt it and it isn't back to normal yet. Give it another day and if you are seeing no improvement, then call the doc. Also, side note. These are those teachable moments.
266539 tn?1281402152 3 minutes fast paced walk, 4 minutes jumping rope (20 seconds straight with 10 second intervals of rest), then running 3 minutes, then 3 minutes on the eliptical machine (you can substitute that for 3 minutes of continuous ab crunches) then back to 4 minutes of jumping rope. That in itself is 20 minutes. Since you are constantly switching your exercise you very rarely get bored of it and trust me when I tell you that you will be worn out! Hope this helps!
Avatar f tn Great inspiration! I saw that video before after searching for a good jump rope. At the same time I read that some guy "invented" a jump rope without the rope to inspire clumsy people like me even more to continue this great cardio workout without tripping.
Avatar f tn I also occasionally take 1/2 a Lortab 5/500 along with 500mg APAP. Yesterday I felt like I was at the end of my rope. The pain was so bad it was incapacitating. Is there anything that might benefit me that I'm not already doing???
